    Feels like a infomercial for Toni Systems. None of this is necessary, but very good clear instructions for those that want to add new grips and or a mag pad. I can understand the grips if they are "grippier" thiner, or you just like the looks, but why bother with the mag pads unless you can get more rounds in, but you can also just by mec-gars and OEM beretta mags that hold more.

    Bro I love the repurposed grass. It's versatile: from baby bottles to Berettas, fake grass for all your needs.

    Another great review for those of us who own a 92X Performance. When more of these are out in the wild I'm sure we'll see several grip makers coming out with grips. Keep up the good work as I'm sure many here like myself appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.

    Will this work on the factory 4.9” threaded barrels or does it need to be the 5”?

    Subscribed!! Seems I am late to the party - by 4 years lol- but just picked up a new 92 GTS thats the same set up as the x performance just with a SA/DA trigger and maybe not as performance equipped. It's a "Y-gun" Berettas designation for a firearm previously used or a blem - basically a gun that cannot be sold as perfect and new. So for 539 I figured why not!! Im trying to determine if this gun's decocker is properly set up - as much as I can tell from your video (great work BTW!!) that the frame mounted lever is in a raised position and is pushed down to de-cock the hammer to a half cock position. The gun I have here is the opposite. the lever is low and is pushed up to decock. seems wrong to me. very difficult to work it and the eros of the lever are clearly made for a downward activation. How do you decock that italian beauty? up or down and is there a way to change between the two?? Toni is going to cost me a small fortune I'm afraid. tho D-Lah Designs makes a optics plate that sits as low as possible that may be the choice cheers and thanks for the information

    If you installed the Toni System base pad on a Mec-gar 18 round magazine you should get +2 rounds= a 20 round magazine. The factory beretta 15rnd mec-gar magazine has a limiter, dents on both sides of the magazine tube that stops the follower. The 18rnd mec-gar mag has no limiter allowing for +2. Stock up on 18rnd mags while you can.

    Would’ve been cool to get a close-up of the Grips to see kind of how they look up close and how they look in your hand. How do they feel do they have a good texture? Also I went to the website and the prices are not in American dollars I’m not sure exactly how much they cost?

  • @joeflowers9084

    Are these grips thinner than the OEM 92X grips? I want thinner grips. I don't have the performance model, just the regular 92X, and the grips are great, but are a little thick.

    With the original Washer and Screw the Screw is now higher then before. So its not flush. Without Washer de Magazin will touch the screw and scratch. I think a other washer must be there

    • @ProForceSecurity
      @ProForceSecurity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Remove washers, and make sure to NOT "over tighten" the grips, there is no need for them to be extrememly tightened, it happened to me at first. You should be fine with that, and the screws should no longer scratch the mag. Hope this help. Lmk if you have any other questions. If problem continues, you can also contact Beretta👍

    Have you noticed that if you tighten the Toni grips down, your magazine no longer drops free?
    The screw will protrude into the magwell and start to rub against your magazine.
    If you try to loosen the screw enough to not rub on the magazine, the grips will be too loose.
    That’s been my experience with the grips so far. I might need to file down the Beretta screws.
    Anyways, my Beretta 92x Performance went back to Beretta for warranty work. The screw bushings that are supposed to be staked into the frame ended up falling out on mine.
    Terrible quality control IMO. A Beretta rep said he’s only heard of that happening one time...so maybe I’m just unlucky.
    Also, those screw bushings strip very easily. Beretta will be replacing all 4 of my bushings and having them properly staked.

    • @ProForceSecurity
      @ProForceSecurity  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It did not happen to me, mine was fine. 1st time i hear of this. Maybe you can try to add thicker washers between the screw and the grip plate; or maybe get slightly shorter screws, or I would just contact Beretta like you did or Toni System. I am sure they can help find the solution you need.

      Eric Pena Geez 🙄. That sucks. Glad to hear Beretta is fixing everything for you. I’m just going to stick with all my stock stuff for now and get used to my pistol 🔫. You guys are more advanced. I need to work on my shooting.

    • @ericmpena
      @ericmpena 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ProForceSecurity I tried a thin metal washer and a small rubber o-ring. Surprisingly both options prevented the screw from tightening down for some reason.
      The factory screw seems just long enough to catch the threads to start tightening, but it’s also just long enough to stick into the magwell.
      I’ll try shaving off a tiny bit. That should make all the difference. I also ordered replacement Beretta screws just in case I mess it up.
      The grips do feel great though. Just gotta get the screw situation figured out.

  • @jamesdotson5979

    I bought these grips after watching this video. They don’t fit properly. Stops the trigger bar from moving freely. Will probably have to file them down

    • @jcaputo3156
      @jcaputo3156 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also experience the same problems in installing the Lok grips. This problems should not be resulting in having to send the gun in for it to be fixed. I added Blue loktite prior to tightening down the grip screws and making sure that the mags did drop free. Allowing 24 hours for the Blue lok-tite to set will hopefully keep everything in place.
