S&J Customs SJC racker for the M&P Core 2.0 is the only option I've found that works and is what I use on my 92x open rig. I also found that the grip tape on the Toni grips wears off quickly so I took it off and then filled the recesses with silicon carbide and also added some on the gas pedal. much improved grip and durability.

@@timsymonds2878Ordered the M&P core 2.0 racker for my 92x performance and it's way to narrow 😭 are you sure it's the core or was it the M&P standard? called SJC and spoke to the owner. He says the M&P standard dovetail is alot wider. Maybe its that one? Could really use your help if it works. Been busting my ass trying to get a racker for the 92xp with no luck.

Went back into my emails from when I ordered and it definitely says it’s for the Core. Can measure mine with calipers when I get home and will post up the measurements here for anyone who needs it. That’ll also give you something to verify with if you call up SJC to order one.

I'm skeptical on the validity of the compensator, As an older Trap shooter we would always laugh at the value of a ported barrel or having a barrel ported "It makes the gun a lot louder and a bitch to clean, that's about it"
And why not use slide mounted optics? they have come a long way overcoming the problems of mounting to a Beretta slide.

    • @Steadfast_Collective

Open division in USPSA requires “Major” power factor scoring. So 9mm major or 38 super. In which case a compensator and a red dot that is not attached to a reciprocating slide does make a huge difference.

How many rounds would you say you have shot using major pf ammo? Did the barrel's company say how many rounds using major it should last? Also, you seemed to imply that you don't only shoot 9mm major. Why wouldn't you shoot major if you are using an open gun?

    • @Steadfast_Collective

The barrel should hold up just as long as any other major PF rated barrel. The locking block on the other hand may need to be replaced over extended use. Steel Challenge does not have PF requirements. That’s why I shoot minor loads as well
