Listen to the male Southern Boubou call loudly for the female. She only responded a few minutes later from far away. These pairs keep in contact by calling each other like this.

It's interesting to note, correct me if I'm wrong... Southern Boubous have different dialects, as the word implies, based on the area of habitation. Similar to how humans have different accents for the same language😁

Many birds have different dialects in their calls, like the Bokmakieries for example. They have a very wide variety of calls that they make and they sound different in each part of the country. It's what we call a regional variation in calls.
