It is extremely rewarding to have these plants in your garden because they often flower at slightly different times, so there is a constant supply of nectar for birds.

We live in Protea Ridge Krugersdorp. Problem is here are hardly any proteas left. It has become a wattle and concrete jungle. Next door neighbor took out 80 protea trees. He doesn't like it.🌾🌻
