Agree. I love his Bio. This is the sole reason I rarely play mech or sky terran since 2016.
Imagine with firebats, medics and healing stim pack (only for Marines tho not marauders; they get extra attack from campaign)!

Byun doing Byun stuff lol. I feel like a lot of builds can be labeled as “don’t try this unless your GM” but Byun’s builds are just “don’t try this unless you’re Byun” lol. It just seems like the amount of practice to make reapers even sort of viable, even for someone like Maru would be better spent on literally anything else in the game lol.

@@dkn1055 Part of it is that roaches are supply heavy, and part is just really good micro.
@@canebro1 I've actually only played the singleplayer mode so yeah, I don't know much haha ty though
@@canebro1 Thr funny thing is that even with their bloated supply cost roaches were more efficient use of resources compared to the banes, those poor guys got turned into little more than acid filled meat shields.
2 things: mules and widow mines. Micro is sick but byun got strategically outplayed, yet the micro and eco is what wins sc2 games, byun has the first and terran race has the second. Extraordinary play nevertheless.
I’ve been away from start craft for a while and I kid you not, as soon as I come back I start getting ads for gourmet cheeses... I think having the word cheese in so many titles descriptions and comments is setting off an algorithm lol

It´s so funny how in cinematic videos zerg units look real scary, and in the game they look like grasshoppers and other cute insects. Like just look at how roches walkxd
Exactly I miss old starcraft looking zergs. The vibe was so scary and discusting. Especialy lurkers they looked like fucking sceletons which can tear apart your body and soul as well. Right now they look like some weird spider dogos…

some guy on the ladder ran all his banes (20 or so) into my queen and manually detonated it all to kill the queen Idk what the guy was doing. I had a huge ball of roaches and zerglings near by as well

I have a dream. That one day we may look at the ultralisk like we looked at byun's reapers. Not as the piece of poor design it used to be at lotv launch, but as the underdog that start crushing games in pros.

That first game was AMAZING he had like 20 less workers than his oponent when the pushes started but the efficency was so high that he winned anyway!!! HOW
That 1st game was UNBELIEVABLE. That seriously might be the coolest Terran build I have ever seen. The micro was also godlike. Keep the Byun videos coming!

Oh, my. Lowko is absolutely right when he ended today’s cast. I’m sure that we are all smiling throughout this game. SC2 is going to see the Micro-Wars. Protoss isn’t on the APM pedestal anymore because we see even Tier 1 units being used in such a fantastic way.

That was awesome. ByuN vs. Dark at Blizzcon is why I fell in love with pro SC2 and it is so so cool seeing ByuN back doing this stuff. I was having the same reactions to the targeting on the Banes. Awesome Cast and video!

As an American, I totally missed that until I saw another comment misquote it as kilometers per hour. It’s actually pretty weird, now that you mention it.
@@BandanRRChannel Oddly enough, we mostly use miles when talking about roads and road-vehicle-speed in England. Couldn't tell you why (beyond it being us who invented the IMPERIAL system - named for royalty...). We use the metric system for most everything else, though.

He wasn't ahead. He may be ahead in supplies but while he is still starting +1 Melee Byun was already researching +3 upgrades.
@@marvinamor1330 thats not true, by the last fight, solar is have 2/2. He also denied byuns +3atk, and it wasnt restarted. He's way up in workers, and he would have been close in army too, if he hadn't gave up and lost the rest of his mutas to rines in the end.

In that first game Solar has to be kicking themselves after watching the replay and realizing just how little income that Byun had to work with.
I like Byun's style a lot: reminds me of WC3 games with the early aggression, very fun to watch.

You know that citrus press where you turn the cirtrus on a swirly thingy. I always squeeze them afterwards with my hands, and true enough there is always a bit more juice to to get out.

I honestly think he's abusing the zeros lack of anti air for the medivacs and of course the fact that he can outrun the backline of the zerg and therefore focus solely on the marine counter aka banelings. Notice how he doesn't run in a turn but most of the time in a straight line away from the roaches, kiting the banes while really only having to focus on said banes because nothing else can reach them. Some medivacs fall sure, but the lack of marauders who are slower makes it so few marines die to the splash aswell and its absolutely brilliant play.
Zerg can't shoot up until midgame, which can be very late if they're harrassed stupid like so

Byun pushing the envelope of his units REALLY makes the game interesting. I bet his military service plays a part. The way he leaves a mine behind after clearing a base, they way he sets up his opponent before a battle. Solar was just running around the whole time even with a 60 army supply advantage. Might have just been this game but I'm looking forward to more Byun!
The anti bane micro in the first game was fantastic, but the bile dodging not so much compared to other high tiers. Still absolutely amazing :D

Byun micro is so sick man. Hes using reapers to pick off individual zerglings and backing out and repeating. I'd imagine its hard to defend against that since hes so good with them.

Okay, I'm trying to get better at SC2 playing Zerg and I feel like this scenario of me being up on army and in a good position like Solar and then losing in a similar fashion happens a lot. I have less of a chance of winning as the game goes on. Any tips for breaking siege tank walls w/ Thors and Marines? Fun to watch, but also made me sad! lool

ive been a fan of byun for a long time... i remember when the late and always great TB was hosting a king of the hill tourney and byun was like 10 or 12 wins in a row
