Watching you line up those blocks with the wedge so they are split right in half shows your dedication to delivering a quality product. Nice work. Hope you get better soon, being sick is no fun. Nice video!
Love the firewood vids. From processing to loading on the trk to delivery. Hope you get well soon. Go get tested for the covid. We don't want to lose any of you!!
That makes firewood splitting look fun. I used an axe and splitting mall when I was growing up. Wasn't so much fun then. But that's all we had for heat back then
That process of firewood making is interesting, I was going through the costs involved in doing this, they can be considerable, I imagine, when you think of fuel costs, chains, lubrication etc. not to mention labor. This is an interesting video to watch. Happy New Year and Good Health to all,..and Dennis, I hope you feel better soon,... drink lots of water and stay safe. Cheers! ( although I can imagine too, that you probably don't feel very 'cheerful' right now! :)
Have been thinking about a electric chain sharpener, I have been sharpening mine on the Processor with the Newer Sthil hand sharpener, firewood demand seems a little higher here than last year! Happy New Year!👍🏼🇱🇷
Hope y'all are doin better sooner rather than later. Had a virus a little more n a month ago. Doctor said they usually take about two wks to to run their course n get through a viral attack.
Great video Dennis. Nice to see the chain sharpening method you use to keep the processor running. Hope you & your family are feeling better soon. Happy New Year!
I would like to talk to you about your wood processor setup and how much that whole setup actually cost I've been looking for one for about a month now trying to decide
Good morning Dennis, that sure is a nice machine to cut wood with. Do you use any green wood 🪵, sometimes, It burns slower. I hope you have enough money for your wood donations and hope u get over your cold. Let me know if you need help in the budget for firewood. I know the people there appreciate it. Thanks 👍‼️
Thanks. I do cut green wood if I run out of dry wood most people want dry but I can’t alway supply it. The firewood fund is getting a little low I have about $900 left out of the $3000+ that has been donated.
@@DLHFarms : OKAY, sounds like u r about out of money. Give me your link, and I’ll put u some money in there. I want to help these people that can’t afford it and help u out. God bless. Thanks Dennis 👍. What do u charge for a cord of wood. Thanks

Great video Dennis. Makes splitting wood easy and quick.Hope everyone gets better.

Well thanks!
I swear I could watch that thing work all day lol
Haha. I’ve done that a day or two.

It sounded like that since we bought it 20 years ago.

We are all better now i filmed this a couple week’s ago. The cost is considerable especially since I buy most of the logs also.
Great video!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. It was great to see the processor again and getting another video.
Thanks!
Your new led lights sure are nice .
Thanks I really like them!
Good morning buddy. Hope you and the family are doing well.
Much better now thanks!

I used to have an Oregon sharpener like the one in the video. It's an excellent machine. A friend of mine had one also. We both loved them.
Yes demand is higher than normal this year here also, already sold more wood than I normally to in one season.
Hope you feel better....Thanks for sharing
Thanks I’m much better now!
That thing cuts locust easier than I can!
Yeah it does great with a sharp chain.
That cherry mixes real well with hickory or red oak in a smoker!!!
I bet so!
Only ran mine twice last month having difficulties gathering logs. Most cutters can't load my trailer. But I have a trailer with grapple on order,
I’ve been very blessed to have a friend in logging that I can buy from and he loads me with his knuckle boom
Hope y'all are doin better sooner rather than later. Had a virus a little more n a month ago. Doctor said they usually take about two wks to to run their course n get through a viral attack.

That machine would have been great back when I was a young lad using a buck saw and a axe
👍
sorry to hear your sick dennis
Thanks I’m better now
I also have the plague Dennis, nasty cold bug, and I also have things to do feeding many mouths on the farm daily, so no bed rest for us dude.
Yeah farmers don’t get days off. Hope you feel better soon!
Get the plow ready for Friday
It’s ready!
Good logs (straight) how many cord can you do an hour?
By myself about a cord. With someone loading about a cord and a quarter.
I would like to talk to you about your wood processor setup and how much that whole setup actually cost I've been looking for one for about a month now trying to decide
That processor was about 28k but that was 9 years ago.
Good morning Dennis, nice camera perspectives. Wood prices increase this year? Thanks.
Thanks! no I kept it the same.
Beats the heck out of a chainsaw and splitting maul
Yes sir!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, Dennis! I Love Watching the Wood Processor Process. sdh in CT
Awesome thanks! Happy New Year!
Why is the hook welded to the top of the ram that pushes the wood past the splitter?
I think the idea was if wood got stuck on the wedge you could put a chain around it and pull it off but all it does is bend the hook cause I tried it.

Haha no, no raffle yet
It’s like watch the flames of a fire!😁... yeah I’m sad 🤣🤣. What size diameter is the timber? Somewhere around 12inch? +or- a bit
Yes it can do up to 16 inches but this was smaller stuff
Hay jus watching your first snow remember to put bigger banks on side wind blows most an I'd you need help plowing I'm available
Did you get the battery connector fixed
Yes a long time ago.
@@DLHFarms good to hear after that one time it was giving you trouble
What length wood are you splitting?
17 inches
What’s the deal with the solar power portable rig, across 58?

I have to mark the first tooth I sharpen on a chain with a sharpie or I will forget which one I started with. I ain't the sharpest tooth in the shed.
Haha. I just watch for sharp teeth
You still sell wood
Yes I do.
