- With the newest map released in Unturned releasd 2 weeks ago (France) I thought it'd be great to say my opinions on the map AS WELL as add YOUR guys' opinions. I'd like to hear from more of you, so....what do you think about France?

He forgot the best part of the map, the stale baguette
I like the map, but I don't like the amount of guns added. I know, they are ballanced, but there are so many. And I think, post-Germany weapons don't fit the game style at all. Because we have some early, very low detailed weapons, and late, more detailed ones. I think, to ballance the style, old ones should be remodelled to the post-Germany style.
The first non-vanilla unturned styled weampons was added in Ireland update, I saw peoples complaining about it.
I aslo want remodelling those france gun, especially kriegs, rhino and banshee. Honestry Greece guns was last good syled weampons in unturned, mabye kopis looks not that good because it not use standard grip.

I mean, one big base is not enough.

I like France but it's laggy for me and I dont like how the military zombies don't drop alot of raw explosives

@Kameding I absolutly love the France map...
BTW I've found a "easter egg" . Under the ranger location in Arden Forest. Only way how you cam find is only using camera control or how you wanna call it , go umder that location and you are going to see something pretty interesting and i think it deserves a smaller video ;)

on the France map in the smaller deadline I got suck and lost all of my loot, also in the bottom left corner of the map there is what Ima going to call " The NPC island"
After 2 hours of looting i don't find a single axe at the start. But i have a crossbow and fishing rod fresh at the start of the game. Now i am just need a axe to make a little base for all my loot. I really like the beatiful lake at the spawn.

This map looks good, but not very good.
Guns lost unturned vanilla style, banshee has too much details, kriegs is too smooth, rhino is long and thin unlike dragonfang and nykorev. There're also peacemaker and empire spawns on this map, while it has its own SMG, the banshee. Peacemaker should stay at Washington, and empire on Germany map.Laser guns are like too much futuristic technology, shadowstalker is pretty good special weampon, mk.II is well made as a reward for easter egg. About vehicle weampons, only autocannon makes sense. HVAP can be easy repleaced with normal tank cannon, those guns with using dragonfang and nykorev boxes are pointless, we already have HMG, even if they need ranger HMG, they can make they own ranger HMG. Flamethrower it's just full-auto rocket launcher with small damage, nothing more interesting.
For the buildings, those looks very good, especially Paris is done very well. But when I went to Marsille, I was disappointed, town itself is like other on that map, but airport...
It using PEI models, it reminds me those maps on workshop, which aren't bad, but don't have cuatom content, by what look vaguely.
That le mans hospital or how it's named, using hawaii hospital, which was made specially for Hawaii. There're also some smaler not their curated content, like construction vehicles, greece news papers boxes and many others.
After all this map don't gives me feeling that map was made in 2 years. Also yet another time we don't get feance emergency vehicles, after Germany came up I thought the every next map will have its new emergency vehicles.
Final opinion: 7/10

I've been playing in France for 5 hours and did not see a single Military vest, or even a police vest. Is it just me? or it just doesn't spawn in the map?
ok france is good not awesome the thing is france is more like washigton+russia and also unturned is a survival game adding maps like france and wahsington is changing the purpose of the game even if you play on hard mode where you supposed not to find a lot of loot you still can find a lot of loot in these two maps i think unturned needs more maps like yukon i mean their is players who have been playing for over 3000h and still don't know how to make a makeshift rifle they don't craft they just find weapons for raiding not hunting or killing zombies just mega

well i think unturned should add some ww2 cars or boats or tanks and they should add mounted guns that you could use instead of a turret

Farm areas
Nelson needs to add a nyc map or something back in USA . However Nelson still complains about pvp , Nelson should just add spawns for zombies on roads and make the road zombies stronger , Nelson should add roaming zombies as well . This would make the zombies a bigger threat .

Dude, it overpowers most rifles on the map, and it's recoil is controllable, with some practice. I makes people like me, who are - still - bad at PvP look like a god in multiplayer servers. On top of that, it damages armored vehicles, has a drum magazine attachment to go with it (50 rnds, more than enough to end a moderate group of people), is VERY accurate, is semi and automatic (can be used as a DMR/sharpshooter) and can be found commonly in Verdun airbase, along with the attachments needed to make it even more powerful. What I'm trying to say is that it's already powerful enough as is, asking for more would just make the gun more unbalanced than it already is.

someone should combine france and germany into one huge map
I don’t get why it causes you such a struggle to just travel between Paris and the airbase, it’s just like Washington, it even has heritage valley if you prefer ranger stuff over military

My only cons about France are that the NPC island is too far offshore and that some vehicle spawns seem too overpowered
Herstal and Rubicon ... balanced map 3 or 4 tap a metal wall wich is so broken and kinda sad considering you can find up to 120 high cal if you spend a whole day in mili base on normal mode servers ..

That’s completely different, different color grass is MUCH more different than having a snow section in a map (France is first to do). Allowing two different temperatures on the same map, which also, France is first to do
@@KamedingI do get what you mean but carpat had snow in the mountains and Russia has the autumn grass section, France is the most diverse as it has both. Sorry if I misunderstood your comment.

verdun havnt a big loot chance when the 2 deadzones ( marseille and flamanville power) got more loot chance and their are so far away from verdun

I’m pretty sure Germany isn’t a progressive map. I’ve spawned near Berlin before and there are campgrounds all over the map.

its only been a week since france came out and youre already milking the fuck out of it.
*2 weeks. And I wouldn’t call it “milking it” as I would telling people new information about a brand new map that we haven’t seen on Unturned (besides timed curated) for a LONG time. So no...not milking it, just learning stuff myself about these new guns and letting the community know with it :)
