You forgot to mention the worst part about baboon hawks, they can steal items, more than once i was moving items in offense and one of these devilish FIENDS grabbed it after i dropped it off the scaffolding thing to get it back to the ship. Remember kids, it's always morally correct to kill baboon hawks.
That happened to me once, went solo through emergency exit. On offense (Only one who landed the ship jump lol) Heard a thumper so I went back with loot since I was unarmed. Drop some off near the ship and go back for the rest and I spot the fucker yoinking my axel. Two people died but me n the last guy bullied the baboon hawk and stole our loot back. Would've killed it if we had shovels but we didn't so we just yelled insults at it instead
A friend of mine recently found out ghost girls aren’t completely run killers anymore. They have two phases, hide and seek and tag. She will only appear behind you and As long as you don’t look at her she’ll never get to her tag phase and wont chase you. Makes brackens and coil heads a hell of a lot harder to deal with but it’s better than nothing.
So this means that, when haunted as the ship guy on multiplayer, the strategy is to just not turn around? You can even play around your pov by moon walking to shut the door, keeping the computer in your vision to make sure she doesnt spawn there. You could even farm paranoia by shaking your mouse around to draw the haunted debuff away from the rest of the team.
@elfireii328 you can potentially trigger her through the wall though so you have to just stare at the monitors. If people keep talking about it though eventually they are going to fix it like the railway cheese and then she's gonna hunt people without being seen lol
To my knowledge, the new Masked enemies can also follow you outside and they also attract dogs. Depending on the circumstance this could distract a dog or just attract it straight to you if the Masked is next to you. And again to my knowledge the railing cheese is patched.

You can chance further of course, depending on the scenario.

A lot of enemies take more than 25% health from you, but falls only take 20 with max fall damage (doesn't apply to jetpack), so you can fall damage yourself indefinitely. * If you are confident there are no hoarding bugs, you can leave items as breadcrumbs so you can find your way back. Alternatively, use leftwall/rightwall strategies, and stick for example to the left when you go in, and to the right when you go out. * Discounts change when you start a new quota, but watch out because restarting the save file will temporarily reset the discounts and they'll USUALLY appear again after you finish a moon Regarding the last one, I suggest you use a mod that lets your friends join when you're in space. Personally I think the game blew up WAY too early and is missing way too many essential features like even rebinding and choosing which way the scroll wheel turns, so getting those mods to fill the basic need for customisation is fine.
Small extra stuff for the new update. You can use spray paint to mark doors for your way back Fall damage now scales over 20 and can easily kill you. Some small falls that did 20 now do none. you can open the locked doors inside by finding the power box thingy and flicking the power off, it does the same thing that grabbing the reactor core does just on a small local area rather than the entire indoors and permanently. if you wanna close the door again just go flip the switch again
This is correct. If power disappears to a door (either to turning off a junction box or taking the power generator) it will open. This can be a good OR bad thing.
For the locked doors if you find the fuse box for the area and flip all the fuses off and all the doors (along with the lights) lose power and open. Side note: sometimes fuses spawn off so in multiplayer runs the terminal guy can't close doors or open them since they lack power. So you should always check all the fuses are on whenever you can
So in regard to ghost girl, I believe that her "kill" phase has a time limit for how long she's allowed to chase you. If you manage to avoid her for long enough she reverts back to haunting you. Still a huge hindrance especially when combined with other mobs but not technically unavoidable
I think the worst part of going solo is that lethal company turns from a horror game with funny and chaotic moments to just a horror game. not only is it hard, but it feels so horrifying.
One thing i might disagree with is prioritsing loot over equipment on your first trip back, especially really early on (although i usually dont make it longer than that). If you die and the ship leaves without you, all loot disappears but any stowed equipment (flashlights, shovels, etc) remains, which makes later days easier if you dont have spares. Its probably still optimal to prioritize loot, but its a good thing to keep in mind
A portable terminal item would be a great addition to the game. It could have limited access to certain commands, like not able to use the monitor, but be able to open doors.
I know this video was made a day before the update, but as of Version 45, there's a second entity that can exit the facility, and that's the Masked. Arguably just as dangerous as the Ghost Girl just because of how insanely smart their AI is and how they never stop chasing you Also, the railing no longer works :(
Some important things to note as of v45: You can no longer avoid being hit by Thumpers or Spiders while on a railing. You can still kill them with a shovel relatively easily: To kill a Thumper, charge it before it can run at you. Keep some space and hitting it will stagger it, making them easy to kill. To kill a spider, just feather the sprint button while keeping space and moving backwards. The new Masked enemy (only spawns on Rend and Titan) **can** go outside. They can instakill you if they grab you, but go down in 4 shovel hits and are relatively easy to dodge.
why guides are good for this type of games: i can watch them. learn everything that game has to offer. and then watch my teammates suffer in despair 'cuz i didnt told them anything. and i knew that they would live if i told so. but i didnt. and it is such a joy :3
I don't know if this has already been said and I don't want to read every comment to find out, but I've found that Baboon Hawks work similar to Loot Bugs from the aspect that you can bargain with them. If you encounter multiple that increasingly get closer to you, drop an item (preferably as little in value as possible) in front of you and back up, and they will usually take it and leave you alone.
To add onto what was said in the video, if you aren't opposed to using mods, Advanced Company lets you do several things like change the number of days you have for each cycle and make days longer/shorter. Considering that the defaults for both of these are balanced around having multiple people, it makes solo feel a lot nicer. Personally, I do 5 day deadlines and 1.5x day length, and I'm able to perform about as well as my regular team with default values.
Ghost girl can only start killing you after she's appeared on your screen twice. If you use audio cues correctly, you can avoid her entirely. She also will only appear where you can have a direct line of sight on her yet will only appear off screen.
There are a few things that majorily helped me with solo runs which are mods: There are mods that are literally meant to be in the base game, and there are mods that some people may consider cowardly: The reserved item slot mod is a great mod, there's a flashlight and walkie talkie mod for it, however, since it's solo, you don't need the walkie talkie one, when you equip a flashlight with the mod on, it'll go to a seperate slot which is on the right bottom of your screen next to the main slots, it will be on your shoulder visually, and you can toggle it on or off with F, and as for the walkie talkie one, you can use it by holding X on any slot, these two mini/tiny items should have literally had a seperate slot in the base game, we have suits for a reason, but not any velcro straps or belts to stick them onto? The other mod that i use (Even though i can play decently solo, i still like to use this mod, game is too unforgiving and you can lose all your stuff in the blink of an eye/in a heartbeat while playing solo) is the KeepScrap mod, you keep all your scrap and items inside the ship if you die, but obviously not the stuff you had on you if you died, i really feel like the only downside for dying while playing solo should've just been losing the day and cutting your losses, not allowing you to progress or replay it (obviously), explore it/collect scrap or any word that suits it the best.
It's probably already mentioned but the two new mobs the masked and the nutcracker are a one shot too. The nutcracker will kill you at range with the shotgun or if you run up to it and try to grab the shotgun, it'll instantly kill you.
@12:10 - addendum to that list, if you're just in a hurry but it isn't a one-shot dash to leave the moon: you will need at least as many trips to the ship as you have two-handed items, so don't just load up on one-handed items then have to make all those trips. Leave behind all equipment that doesn't have its own slot (if you use the mods for reserved flashlight/radio/weapon slots) or heavy ones that do (need that speed!) and grab 3 one-handed scrap plus a two-hander if any remain. When you are down to where you can grab all remaining loot and your equipment, that's your last run.
4:44 The ghost girl isn’t technically unavoidable, since if you evade her for long enough while she’s skipping after you, or if you get far enough away from her, she disengages temporarily, teleporting to some place out of your line of sight. However she doesn’t go back to her taunting mode after this, and I’m unsure whether or not she immediately begins chasing you again, or if she waits until you have line of sight or get close to her to start chasing again.
I never bring flashlights, I feel like they’re useless when the game is 100% able to be navigated with just the scanner. As a solo I only bring a shovel in, and typically leave it outside while keeping in mind a good route to get back outside in the case of anything.
Another near unavoidable thing, which I've had happen to me twice in solo runs, is the ship landing on top of a circuit bee nest. The damn bees aggro through the bottom of the ship, so you can't pull the lever. Best thing to do is to try and sprint out the ship, get whatever loot from inside, stack it in front of the door of ship, and wait on the top of the ship for autopilot to leave. Addendum: Slimes also technically have an instakill, in the very center of them. Only time it's been applicable for me personally was when one glitch-teleported up a physics object, but something to keep in mind so you don't try sprinting through them. Addendum 2: Rail cheese no longer works, instead best method of dealing with thumpers and spiders is now staying near them and kiting backwards. Snare fleas will not kill you if you stand still as a solo, instead detaching, and die if you make it out an exit with them attached. Final Addendum: You can check current credits by going to the store on computer terminal. When piling loot to scan, make sure to scan multiple times, as you might not get all values. Apparatus values don't add to the total while scanning, but sell for a lot, and keys show a value of 3 credits but sell for 0.

fun incident... I was on my second quota, last day, and found 3 v-type engines bringing me $100 over quota. I was taking the second engine back to the ship and a giant spawned early on my exact location, so there was no warning before I died and lost all my loot
One thing I always try and do regardless of moon, is get in and get out. I rarely stay any later than 2 p.m. to avoid dealing with a bunch of creatures
Idk if this considered cheating or not, but you can reset if u die while exploring, simply exit game after u die and reload back in, you will go back before you land the ship and the day to meet the quota wont move
Yeah the dev is probably gonna patch it out soon. But if he didn't it's probably because the game is hard enough anyway gave some leeway to the player.
@@Duran762He can't really unless he makes the game save during the game which wouldn't work because it has to save when it's in orbit because it can't load into the middle of the day but there probs is a solution
the shower resets your insanity and makes the ghost girl leave you alone for a while, solo its basically essential on hard moons as every time you run back to ship, shower and youre fine
Had already seen your "all the loot" video when it popped into my feed (likely because I've been watching a lot of LC videos lately) - and now this one. Good content, don't post a lot to flood my feed, up-and-comer with relatively few subscribers... yeah, think I'll stick around. Subscribed! [edit] btw... if you want to take the edge off solo mode a little bit, some hero made a mod to prevent the scrap on your ship disappearing in a case of team wipe, which is any deaths at all when playing solo. I'm hoping someone will make a mod allowing us to trigger the teleporter remotely. 😏Would lose the scrap we're carrying but worth it if it means escaping a coilhead on our butt...
For dealing with brakkens, when you see one you should count to 20 then turn around again. It’s a pretty consistent method of avoiding head replacement.
One piece of advise for baboon hawks is noise appears to be a nice deterrent. I've had 3 chasing me and as long as you keep your mic on and turn around to scream at them occasionally they seem to run away and leave you alone. I saw somewhere that they were receptive to sound so the louder you are the more they back off. Not sure if this is 100% safe as I've only done it twice but I ran all the way across the map with 3 on my ass the entire time and didn't get hit once. Good luck Solo bros!
This is just from personal experience but I found out that baboon hawks tend to stay a lot further away from you if you just yell at them through your mic, I was doing a solo run on march and I managed to get back to the ship just by screaming “HEY” at a trio of them. maybe it’s just me idk.
Railing cheese stuff doesn't work anymore with version 45 its best to hit spiders by backing up and facing them and using sprint energy sparingly since they just follow you for a long time and hitting them with the shovel. The crawler enemy you can just hit with a shovel back up and repeat. I'm not messing with the hoarding bug or baboon hawk gang for solo runs.
Closed secure doors can be opened from inside the facility by turning off the power to them from a breaker panel. This will also turn off the lights though. It also makes a low pitched mechanical humming noise so you can find it in the dark better.
Many things here can be improved. The most notable one is from the ghost girl. You can outrun her fairly easily and she won't chase for more thsn 30 seconds. If you see her 2-3 times, go outside she'll spawn. There you can outrun her by looping anything until she disappear. She'll do that over and over and won't chase multiple times when she fails.
you can use the electrical boxes to turn off the power which includes the secure doros opening them, the lights will obviously go out so a flashlight is recommended but its a better alternitive than going back to the ship (for solos).
You can use fuse boxes/take out apparatus and it will unlock pressurized doors or at very least remember number and letter when hauling first part of loot back, so when you back at ship - you could just enter it
Idk why I never saw it in guides or in 100 hours of playtime, but I now know that the credits amount is displayed at the top left of the terminal 😅😅😅 Literally have been looking everywhere for this lol 11:16

I once had a turret spawn in the main entrance room, so all of my team died as soon as we entered
we had 2…. so we all died too lol
Some important things to note as of v45:
You can no longer avoid being hit by Thumpers or Spiders while on a railing. You can still kill them with a shovel relatively easily:
To kill a Thumper, charge it before it can run at you.
I love your humor so much 😭
why guides are good for this type of games: i can watch them. learn everything that game has to offer. and then watch my teammates suffer in despair 'cuz i didnt told them anything. and i knew that they would live if i told so. but i didnt. and it is such a joy :3
Aquath solos
Sweet solo tips! I really enjoyed your editing and your voice is cute to listen to! I'm subbed for your future content! :D
Nice video man, you deserve 10, glad to be here from the start
Another awesome video! In the beginning you had made a comment about an 11 minute time, what is 11 minutes linked to?
The entire duration of a lethal company day
To add onto what was said in the video, if you aren't opposed to using mods, Advanced Company lets you do several things like change the number of days you have for each cycle and make days longer/shorter. Considering that the defaults for both of these are balanced around having multiple people, it makes solo feel a lot nicer. Personally, I do 5 day deadlines and 1.5x day length, and I'm able to perform about as well as my regular team with default values.
Underscores in the intro of a good video, hollly, the beginnings of a goat
Why do all of your videos start with violence being brought upon me
IM SORRY OKAY I GIVE UP I APOLOGIZE PLEASE STOP THROWING ROCKS AT MY WINDOW
Ghost girl can only start killing you after she's appeared on your screen twice. If you use audio cues correctly, you can avoid her entirely. She also will only appear where you can have a direct line of sight on her yet will only appear off screen.
There are a few things that majorily helped me with solo runs which are mods:
There are mods that are literally meant to be in the base game, and there are mods that some people may consider cowardly:
The reserved item slot mod is a great mod, there's a flashlight and walkie talkie mod for it, however, since it's solo, you don't need the walkie talkie one, when you equip a flashlight with the mod on, it'll go to a seperate slot which is on the right bottom of your screen next to the main slots, it will be on your shoulder visually, and you can toggle it on or off with F, and as for the walkie talkie one, you can use it by holding X on any slot, these two mini/tiny items should have literally had a seperate slot in the base game, we have suits for a reason, but not any velcro straps or belts to stick them onto?

The ghost girl isn’t technically unavoidable, since if you evade her for long enough while she’s skipping after you, or if you get far enough away from her, she disengages temporarily, teleporting to some place out of your line of sight. However she doesn’t go back to her taunting mode after this, and I’m unsure whether or not she immediately begins chasing you again, or if she waits until you have line of sight or get close to her to start chasing again.
incredible music taste
I never bring flashlights, I feel like they’re useless when the game is 100% able to be navigated with just the scanner. As a solo I only bring a shovel in, and typically leave it outside while keeping in mind a good route to get back outside in the case of anything.
I bring flashlights in, but I also keep the gamma really low, os it can be really hard to see (especially jumps) with just scanner light.
aquath video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You don't need to stand still to live through a snareflea, they will never kill you in single player
Even if you're already injured
@@elllieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I believe they will if you're on critical, mostly said stand still so you don't walk into another danger/off a cliff while blind xdd
@@carbonbeaker409 they won't if you're critical, I've tried before they just disappear
Ik after the new update some of this stuff is already outdated but snarefleas if you sit completely still will usually hop off your face when you reach critical hp this has saved me a few times playing solo
This is also if your full though
You’ve been doing a great job on these videos keep up the good work not many people actually talk about the game itself
Very good video, keep it up :)
underscores my beloved
this video is kinda like that thing
The music by underscores really makes this
HOLY SHIT LOCALS ( GIRLS LIKE US ) SPOTTED I FUCKING ADORE THAT SONG !!!!!!! mechanically engineered soft bottom they/thems have the best music taste! ^_^
Honestly, my strategy for solo is basically just "fuck it we ball". got to 1k quota solo with this, though... with a lot more stupid deaths than it warranted. But I guess as a bonus screeching my throat out when getting jumped by everyone was good voice training :3c
Now I'm trying to do solo brutal company........... safe to say its not going nearly as well
I got past the landmine and heard the voice before I saw who posted it. The first thing that came to my mind was "Oh! Holy shit, the femboy"
I think the railing cheese just got fixed, but now you got SHOTGUN SHOTGUN SHOTGUN
I fucking love underscores so much
fun incident... I was on my second quota, last day, and found 3 v-type engines bringing me $100 over quota. I was taking the second engine back to the ship and a giant spawned early on my exact location, so there was no warning before I died and lost all my loot
I’m fairly good at lethal but if I go alone my nerves will literally be my death
One thing I always try and do regardless of moon, is get in and get out. I rarely stay any later than 2 p.m. to avoid dealing with a bunch of creatures
This quality is way too good to have less than 10k. I subbed instantly
Ty omg ;;;;
Even in a More Company lobby of 15+ I still be playin solo with peoples screams as guide so this is really useful
i came for lethal company, stayed because you used locals in the intro
underscores intro is based
Sir I like your voice and your guides pls continue ❤❤
Idk if this considered cheating or not, but you can reset if u die while exploring, simply exit game after u die and reload back in, you will go back before you land the ship and the day to meet the quota wont move
I didn’t mention this bc im a hypocrite and consider it cheating even though i do it shgfdaasdgjlhgd
@@KiwiVR101 Sure but he can find a way to make it work
the shower resets your insanity and makes the ghost girl leave you alone for a while, solo its basically essential on hard moons as every time you run back to ship, shower and youre fine
This is kind of off topic but I love your pfp

Good luck Solo bros!
the fucking whiplash of hearing underscores in the intro (in the best way possible)
You have a very calming voice.
something cool about playing solo is the snarefleas wont kill you, theyll make you critically injured and then just like vanish lol
UNDERSCORES MENTIONED RAHHHH🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️
You can no longer jump onto railings for safety, enemies will hit you on them, and most likely just yeet you off.
I also like to use the word demonstrably whenever possible
Haha really good video! yeah, you totally right, completely different when you play in a group
Fun fact about Snare Fleas. In solo specifically, they won’t kill you if you have enough HP left.
It also makes a low pitched mechanical humming noise so you can find it in the dark better.
best discord ad ive ever seen
When the company fires all their employees:
a little note to add here, railings are no longer safe, thumpers and spiders can and will get on them to monch you out of existence
You can locate fuse panels to unlock secure doors btw. While it kills the lights, it does give you access to otherwise inaccessible parts
I almost only play solo and it's always horrifying for me. I almost never win.
you can use the electrical boxes to turn off the power which includes the secure doros opening them, the lights will obviously go out so a flashlight is recommended but its a better alternitive than going back to the ship (for solos).
You can use fuse boxes/take out apparatus and it will unlock pressurized doors or at very least remember number and letter when hauling first part of loot back, so when you back at ship - you could just enter it
