It's a bike shop, things are don't very fast and on a rush, he knows it's lose but, business have to keep going lol. this fork is too skinny, not a mountain bike one, i wold not leave it like this, i would use a piece of metal or heavy duty plastic like from a pipe, cut a small piece and feed it between the gap and problem solve, now it's going to tighten real good, simple solution, fill the gap.

Thanks for showing me that I don't want to do this. The way the adapter moves when you brake is definitely something you don't want with a brake system.
I tried this one too initially for my project bike. I highly encourage not to use the disc brake adaptor as it moves laterally especially on hard braking. It ended up damaging not just the calipers but also the rotor. Since then, I have the frame and fork welded with disc brake mounts to my trusted frame builder here in our town.
@@anthonyquidato9039 some worry about the fork/frame not being designed to transfer the bending moment introduced by the brake. Have you had any issues there?

Clearly that doesn’t concern them at all. You also don’t see any truing of the wheel. I mean if you’re not bothering to wear shoes, why would they care if the spokes are crossed properly or if the wheel spins true?

Please give me some additional information! What are the specifications (size = width + diameter, product code etc.) of the front hub you used? I just need the front wheel hub, because I have already got the other components. Is the size of the holder you mounted on the fork 22 or 31 millimeters? My vintage bicycle has got an old steel fork which is thinner than today's aluminium ones.

Hello, My bicycle's rear frame had bent, so I cant fit the wheel straightly in the axis, so I have to bend that rear MS frame. how can I do. It is very strong.
If frame is bent you don’t fix it... there are small hairline cracks were if you bend the frame again it’ll crack even more making it not safe.
@@amshuvundi5450 Nope, it is bent not because of accident, while we installing hub motor we tried to expand the hub frame, It bent but one side point came up and another lies same. It is very negligible but because of it the wheel axis changed like camber angle in car. So I am trying to bend by heating.

This adapter does not hold at all. The iron it is made of is very thin and bends. At the front, the clamp is 1 millimeter and on the first stop, the brake caliper goes into the spokes of the rim. The clip in the front is breaking.

Hello, I think his kit comes with a new hub, as the old hub is not ready to bolt on the disc 6 screws! So in order to put the new disc-ready hub on his rim, he must dismantle and reassemble the spokes.
