I was on the bank of the river almost exactly where you began the video right around 2 months ago, getting on one of those 5 deck river cruise ships for a 3 gorges (well technically 2.5 gorges now I guess) cruise, which was surprisingly fun. They told me that now is actually the best time for such a trip since in September/October there is cooler weather, no summer crowds, and the gorges are covered in beautiful red fall foliage. One day I'll have to come back and experience it again in autumn.
Knowing how BYD operates, they'll just hold a press event launch Blade Gen2 all of a sudden, and announce that cars using the new batteries are already in mass production and will be ready for delivery in a matter of weeks or even days. That's what they did for DM-i 5.0 platform. Held the launch event, and 30 days later they've already delivered like 20,000 cars on the new PHEV platform.
