Like always, I'm here to watch the astonishing range of breakfast buffets in the hotel, which has become a well-established part of your channel. Also, alarming news just came out that the Australian government is considering following the lead of the U.S. and Canadian governments by imposing an outright ban on all Chinese-made EVs, citing national security concerns.
Yes interesting times ... curious to see what stance the current government will take and how they intend to impose this on existing cars should they follow the US
I read senator James Paterson of the coalition party is calling for a ban after a visit to Washington. I'm glad the current government declined to allow Australians greater freedom of choice in EVs
I was on the bank of the river almost exactly where you began the video right around 2 months ago, getting on one of those 5 deck river cruise ships for a 3 gorges (well technically 2.5 gorges now I guess) cruise, which was surprisingly fun. They told me that now is actually the best time for such a trip since in September/October there is cooler weather, no summer crowds, and the gorges are covered in beautiful red fall foliage. One day I'll have to come back and experience it again in autumn.
man....take me with you and i will be your carriers!!! I hold your camera and baggage and your personal translator! lol Please upload your trips in Chongqing too. I wanna know more and where to go what to do and where to eat and views.
Great videos as always. Im curious if you would consider a video on LFP batteries vs NCM batteries and the pros and cons between the two given that the BYD is LFP and the new Xpeng long rang is NCM. Many thanks
That 42nd floor of the hotel was a software render. You can tell by all the reflections off the floor. The artists forgot to add dust and clutter for realism. 😅
Remember when I was 4, the exact location where you stay, was filthy and crowded. Gangs everywhere scamming, stealing and robbing. How the f**k Chinese achieved this in 32 years?
They embarked on the most ambitious society project in history. In order to achieve this and to avoid what happened in 1990s Russia during the early 2000s there was a series of executions of corrupt and convicted billionaires. If we in The West refuse to reign-in and punish our Billionaires we will all end up as their serfs in a dystopian neo-feudalism.
Knowing how BYD operates, they'll just hold a press event launch Blade Gen2 all of a sudden, and announce that cars using the new batteries are already in mass production and will be ready for delivery in a matter of weeks or even days. That's what they did for DM-i 5.0 platform. Held the launch event, and 30 days later they've already delivered like 20,000 cars on the new PHEV platform.
Tbh I didn’t have to pay much for food but overall it’s less expensive for the average meal as per the Big Mac Index: www.comparethemarket.com.au/home-loans/features/big-mac-index/
Nobody is interesting with lobby, temperature or others private stuff. BYD factory! so focus on the topic and stop creating those long monster video - if you whish to keep viewers.
My metrics and posted comments say otherwise - people want to see the culture behind the cars. I also think this is important. The beauty of TH-cam is that you can skip to the relevant section via the chapter markers (which I always add in my videos) - try it 👍
Denza has already released their D (MPV), N (crossover SUV) and Z (sedan/wagon) line of cars. What I'm really curious about is what BYD has in their bag for their E and A models to complete the Denza lineup. What kind of models will those two be? 2 door coupe/sports car? Pickup/offroad SUV?

They are just trying to bury their heads in the sand.
It's OK for the US, they still have an auto industry!
That's super cool. What a great experience!

Thanks! Not specifically except to say they are constantly researching new battery efficiencies and different chemistries
