Tripping out. This is the first of your videos I've seen and I am sitting here in the exact same PJ pants you are wearing. You are obviously a champion. Subscribe:)
Great idea for a quick battlemat. I have tried making the acrylic mats, while it worked it was a quite messy and exhaustive process. This option will come right in time for my Frostgrave session!
Yep. At first I checked a few tutorials on acrylic mats but it seemed to be too much work. I could just buy a good quality neoprene mat at that point. I especially like how my snow game mat turned out (the shortclips in the vid)
3:08 I might be color blind but while talking about how outside isn't mostly green and then fading in a picture that is 90% green lol idk maybe I'm missing the joke
I admit the picture might not have been the best to depict the idea xD, But the ground in the picture is maybe 50-50 green/brown . But so often many have the idea in their head that "ground is green, sky is blue", while drawing a landscape scene. But more often than not, a woodland scene has quite much brown and other dark colors on the ground. Sticks, rocks, leaves, mud etc. So a too green playmat might not be the most optimal for certain wargames, since it tends to look like a grassland instead of a woodland scenario.

Glad I saw this one too with your painting technique well done!
In the end it didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, but it's still good enough. Just used it a few hours ago in our games.
exactly what i needed, this would be a nice project for me.
Tell me how it turned out! I'm still actively using the mats I made
@@VirtuosityB once i finished ot, i have yet to buy the materials but I'm quite excited to make one.
