The candy steal scene always catches everyone by surprise! It's really fun to watch people's reactions to that. Especially if the reactor watches a lot of Japanese romance, they'll always talk about how rare it is to have a Japanese romance show have any kissing in it at all. 🥰
The Sawada story arc is always fun to watch with the twists of who she actually likes and her background. "Senpai" is a Japanese honorific when addressing someone who is either older or more experienced than you. In this case, Sawada is younger, but she only addresses Hori with Senpai, because she's honoring Hori. She never addresses Miyamura as senpai. 😂😂
The scene where Hori is asking Miyamura why he doesn't makes moves on her seems confusing since we just saw him steal her candy. But what she's really saying is why isn't he more aggressive with how he acts with her. As we've seen thus far, Miyamura is pretty laid back and somewhat shy with people. Hori wants him to be more aggressive and you'll see later what she's really wanting.

oh right.... I'm enjoying your reactions to this, because it's like I'm sharing one of my favorite anime/manga series with someone new, and that makes me enjoy this series all over again. I sure hope that when you finish this season, you'll continue with the current season 2. 😃

Ohh it’s like Unnie or oppa in Korean. Yeah I was surprised he took the candy from her mouth! Lol. Sawada definitely took me by surprise!

@@Cindy_QueensReacts hmmm.... I think it's more like "seonbae", because gender is not involved. A guy could call an older girl senpai, especially in a work environment and the older girl has been at that job longer and is training him. In a similar way the Japanese honorific of "kouhai" is to someone younger or lower status, so that would be probably like "hubae".

I should remember to think in terms of Korean when explaining some of this stuff rather than just American. 😃
BTW.... my wife is half-Korean and so I have a full Korean mother-in-law. 😓
