you kept mentioning the chemistry, and you’re spot on with that. one thing this show does better than any anime i’ve seen is the chemistry between the characters. everyone in this anime perfectly clicks together and it’s so refreshing. usually in romcom animes, the characters always have one played up personality trait that fuels the interactions they have, but in this anime it’s just regular people having fun and enjoying the time they spent together. cannot wait to watch this along with you. one of the best romcoms to ever come out!
Hell yeah, it's egg time! You picked a great time to start this. One of the biggest complaints with the show was that they rushed the story to fit it into one season, but they've recently announced a "sequel" called _Horimiya: Piece_ that's going to adapt the cut content.
You know in June or July this year horimiya is getting a new anime which will adapt scenes from the manga/novel which were cut off from the 2021 adaptation due to them desperate to animate the ending . So ,whenever you fell that the scenes are cut or took a weird transition just know this it's not completely adapted and will be adapted this year in June or july
"that episode went by super quickly and thats how i know that im enjoying a show alot" i agree i also watch this entire 5+ hour show in 30 minutes its a great feeling unless you start watching at 10-11pm :P
The anime really did bump the pace up to 11. The manga was originally much more a slow burn. Showing them spending quite a lot of time together and them gradually getting closer and closer. I do understand why the anime picked up the pace. But I wish they showed time passing more clearly
You’re running the gauntlet of my top five rom coms, my dress up, horimiya, and kaguya. Just missing toradora and bloom into you. Also I’m really hype for Skip and Loafer to drop this April. It’s getting adapted by PA works and if it lives up to the hype it will probably knock kaguya out of my top five.
Hahaha its meant to be!! I watch toradora every year so can't react to it (but i LOVE it), I haven't seen bloom into you, and i haven't heard of Skip and Loafer :o

Yo tonikawa is still till date the best nostalgia drug for me and is my 2nd fav romcom after horimiya .
Something I like to mention when I find a reaction to Horimiya is that they did make a live action series in 2021.
