We have one of the best presidents our country has seen and it would be a honor to serve underneath Mr. Trump our commander in chief . It is one of the best and strongest militaries we have seen in decades. I have worked with the United States Air Force army exchange services for over 10 years now and I got to network with thousands of service members and their family and not 1 of those people have said that they regret their choice to serve and I also want to build off of my career and expand my skills on top of wanting to serve my contry

I’m turning 35 and considering enlisting in the Air Force. I always wanted to join the army when I was in high school but parents was against the thought of me being in the military. Graduated from college and wanted to join the navy but ended up helping my parents run their restaurant and felt stuck helping my parent of their old age. Thank goodness the Air Force increases their age limit otherwise I won’t even get a chance to ever consider joining the military. Thinking of stopping by to see a recruiter after thanksgiving when I don’t have to be working 14 hours every day.

27 here. Leaving for BMT January 28th. I already have my job 3D1X2, and I'll be starting as an E-3 because I already have my degree. And that right there is something I think makes a big difference. Sure, a lot of people will be younger, but if you put in the years into college first, odds are, you will have a better rank than those fresh out of highschool. And if you did officer training through college, you are pretty set if you wanna lead.
I never really saw myself as the military kinda guy, but my life wasn't where I wanted it and I didn't have that many options, so, at least for me, the Air force checked off a lot of boxes and is definitely the kind of springboard I need to build a better future for myself. I do feel a little uncomfortable starting in my late 20s, but I am doing this for my future, and if I play my cards right, my age isn't going to matter. You just gotta make the most of it!

AF Tech School is so much different then it was when I went to Tech School. My Tech School at Keesler was 42 weeks. Yes, 42 weeks. And then I went to at least another 35 weeks total of TDY classes at different bases. I was an Avionics Tech on B-52's and KC-135's. My Daughters Tech School was 12 weeks at Lackland. She ended up being a Radio Operator on E-4's at Offutt. She is still there, but now working for the AF as a Cyber Security Tech. Hopefully you signed up for 6 years. Take advantage of what you are being offered. This is a lifetime event that will carry you for the rest of your life.

I'm 23, may be 24 once I get dates, and I have a master's degree and was a college athlete, so my only concern about BMT is learning to work with so many people that have so much less life experience than me.
