  • Coiling rope or line on a boat isn't just for looks. When you need to access a dock line on your boat, you want to make sure it's neatly coiled and not tangled. Hey, Keith. Sorry you didn't find the video useful, but can you give me more info about what you believe is not shown? I watched this again, and everything is centered and shown in frame. Are you sure your response is on the correct video?

Can’t see the left hand bringing the rope over, so I don’t know how/what direction you’re twisting it to lay the rope in. I agree with that guy- fine if you already know how to do it, but this isnuseless for beginners.

It’s a nice method, but can’t tell how you’re doing it. What the heck does “roll your hand” and “lay the twist” mean? And I agree with the guy who said you can’t see what your left hand is doing.

Thanks for the feedback, Eric. And sorry for any confusion. It might be helpful to view the original horizontal format video then: th-cam.com/video/BRIa55_62og/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nIQXZhk4ZMD3-hgi

Not the nicest way to deliver your comment, seek3n, but we appreciate the honest feedback. This was cropped from a horizontal video, which you can view here if you need to see more: th-cam.com/video/BRIa55_62og/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iXplvcJc-0oX7-xo We'll try to do better in the future.
