Mastodon fuckin rules, best discog in metal since 02 and probably one of the most acclaimed discographies in metal history. This is from their album blood mountain which actually released in 06 so 17 years ago, album pretty much received universal acclaimed from almost every publication. Anyway good stuff man, mastodon is awesome and it’s always great to see them get some attention, last time I saw them in late 2021 it was a hell of show, nobody else out there that sounds like mastodon and nobody will. Lastly if you didn’t know they have 3 lead vocalists, drummer Brann Dailor /lead guitarist Brent hinds/bassist troy sanders, in this song it’s just Troy and Brent, Brann actually didn’t start singing until the follow up to this album crack the skye in 09, these days troy and Brann do the most lead singing.
