People actually complaining in the comment section. For those saying this is "irrelevant" and throwing numbers down about how their reaction time is slower than the response time of the click. This is how physics works. Its not: "Oh my mouse is 10ms, monitor 5ms, Ping 65ms but my reactions are 200ms so I can't even react that fast" That's not how physics works. Its: Reactions 200ms + Monitor 5ms + Mouse 10ms + Ping 65ms = 280ms Meaning because of the delay in all your equipment, the time it takes is now 40% slower than your reactions simply due to your hardware. So if a mouse can go from 10ms to 0.2ms that's a 3.7% improvement. _In this example_ if your reactions are 150ms, its now almost a 5% improvement. It doesn't seem like much but a 3.7% - 5% improvement can literally be the difference between dying and living by itself. Never mind if you combine that with a better monitor and tons of practice to increase your reactions. Its exponential percentage increases.
Optical Mouse is a must not because of what advertised in this video. It is a must because mechanical switch usually have double click problem after 1-2 years. Been using this for more than 2 years without any single double click problem
In some games, where you have to click very fast, that debounce time thing, gives an advantage. It would be cool, if the Razer software could have that thing, where you can choose the debounce time. For example, The Glorious Software has it, and it's very useful. Thank you.
0:45 Hello Razer I just wanted to tell you that you are wrong with the debounce thing here, your mouse isnt faster, the signal is sent right after the first peek. Meaning the reaction time is the same, you fixed the delay a player had after they pressed the switch (if you did lower it then the guy making your mice before should be fired) Because after first peak reaches the bottom, a signal is sent, then the bouncing happens, whilst this bouncing is occuring, the player cant input anything anymore And even if you were able to lower it from 0.6 ms to 0.2 ms The delay from server is 100 higher and then you still have electrical delay Mouse software (inside the mouse) processing the data, then sending it, then it has to travel to usb, then through the motherboard to the CPU So to summarize The mouse fixes nothing important, only the ability to click ver very fast, (IMPORTANT RESPONSE TIMES ARE ACTUALLY NOT IMPROVED HERE) Signal to server takes and back 200 times longer (meaning if you even had improvement you wouldnt see or feel it) Its to expensive for a lightsensetve sensor and a light, when instead compared to a clicky boy. But i gotta give it to you, more clicky time is better, but mostlikely by that point you replace your mouse anyway
TLDR When u click any mouse, a signal is sent. Debounce delay goes into effect afterwards. Unless you can click your mouse twice before the span of 0.6ms debounce delay will not affect you by cancelling that 2nd click. This is why this new mouse is a stupid misleading product.
@@Lexius72 Had a BlackWidox Chroma 2 and a DA Elite for a couple years. It's honestly not that great because my palm covers the mouse RGB. Same goes for the GPW. You get over it quickly
Well, I used my original Razer Dethadder 3.5G for 7 Years, it failed this Year( completely) the first thing that i fixed was a wear on the plastic part that pushes on the switch the second was case damage, mice were sent flying numerous times, Tough as a rock :) The third was a swap of the switch(from side buttons to lefty click) after dismounting the switch cause of the problem was the fatigue of spring acting metal part. this is what concerns me the most, switch was still working, but the 'click' was different at some point after the button swap if failed on side click, IF You use the same design of spring acting mechanism it will last a long time ) but the better design might be considered. PS. Love You :)
Actually looks badass. I appreciate this video...especially from Razer, with their past reputation, it shows they have bought in and are confident in this product enough to educate us in this video instead of just some B-roll footage of the rgb shining all around a cool looking gaming mouse. Getting it
on consoles you can turn on aim assist, but when you start aiming it only aims at players but do not track them, and when you are spamming aim button yoy can kinda track them and almost everyone uses it
Dogez hahaha, not every aim assist is a snap and shoot as with GTA. You should do a bit of research to see how aim assist in consoles actually works. :)
Optical switches don't always block out double clicks. however the razer ones do and it is amazing! The Bloody Switches people like because of dragclicking. Their optical switch is more sort of flimsy meaning you can even get a quadruple click.
Are you talking about bloody's LK Optical? Those are surely superior... they have patent so razer and everyone else have to do different design that makes clicking mushy
As long as it's as fast I don't mind. What I care more is the longevity. I have 3 prior logitach mouse that crapped out because of bad switch, so I bought a razer mini. Let's see if Razer as good as people said.
all good gaming mouses start double clicking after ~2 years, also razer products are breaking down after 1 year, so actually their optical switch doesn't make sense
It might not make a difference for the regular gamer, I think at the highest levels of competitive gameplay this might have small but MAYBE noticeable changes, in certain things, games are complicated and require lots of actions and effort at the highest levels. So this could be a thing, however small it might be, the lifespan is also significant imo.
Razer: our mouse now only clicks once. MCpvp players: welp. time to go buy another model that clicks multiple times per hit. Not intended market, but still driving away some consumers :/

Reactions 200ms
+ Monitor 5ms
+ Mouse 10ms
+ Ping 65ms
= 280ms
Meaning because of the delay in all your equipment, the time it takes is now 40% slower than your reactions simply due to your hardware.

In some games, where you have to click very fast, that debounce time thing, gives an advantage. It would be cool, if the Razer software could have that thing, where you can choose the debounce time. For example, The Glorious Software has it, and it's very useful. Thank you.
0:45
Hello Razer
I just wanted to tell you that you are wrong with the debounce thing here, your mouse isnt faster, the signal is sent right after the first peek.
Meaning the reaction time is the same, you fixed the delay a player had after they pressed the switch (if you did lower it then the guy making your mice before should be fired)
Because after first peak reaches the bottom, a signal is sent, then the bouncing happens, whilst this bouncing is occuring, the player cant input anything anymore
And even if you were able to lower it from 0.6 ms to 0.2 ms
The delay from server is 100 higher and then you still have electrical delay
Mouse software (inside the mouse) processing the data, then sending it, then it has to travel to usb, then through the motherboard to the CPU
So to summarize
The mouse fixes nothing important, only the ability to click ver very fast, (IMPORTANT RESPONSE TIMES ARE ACTUALLY NOT IMPROVED HERE)
Signal to server takes and back 200 times longer (meaning if you even had improvement you wouldnt see or feel it)
Its to expensive for a lightsensetve sensor and a light, when instead compared to a clicky boy.
But i gotta give it to you, more clicky time is better, but mostlikely by that point you replace your mouse anyway
*Every Millisecond Counts.*
David C. Again it doesnt matter
Both have the same reaction time
Okay boomer
foppa wtf i am 18 years old and a laboratory physicist
So stfu
TLDR
When u click any mouse, a signal is sent. Debounce delay goes into effect afterwards.
Unless you can click your mouse twice before the span of 0.6ms debounce delay will not affect you by cancelling that 2nd click.
This is why this new mouse is a stupid misleading product.

Well, I used my original Razer Dethadder 3.5G for 7 Years, it failed this Year( completely)
the first thing that i fixed was a wear on the plastic part that pushes on the switch
the second was case damage, mice were sent flying numerous times, Tough as a rock :)
The third was a swap of the switch(from side buttons to lefty click)
after dismounting the switch cause of the problem was the fatigue of spring acting metal part.
this is what concerns me the most, switch was still working, but the 'click' was different at some point after the button swap
if failed on side click,
IF You use the same design of spring acting mechanism it will last a long time ) but the better design might be considered.
PS. Love You :)
7 years is a pretty good lifespan for 1 mouse

Optical switches don't always block out double clicks. however the razer ones do and it is amazing! The Bloody Switches people like because of dragclicking. Their optical switch is more sort of flimsy meaning you can even get a quadruple click.

all good gaming mouses start double clicking after ~2 years, also razer products are breaking down after 1 year, so actually their optical switch doesn't make sense
if you cant fix a doubleclicking mouse by yourself then i have bad news
Have you tried to not hit your mouse and rage on it while playing cs 1.6, because I've had mine for 2 years and and I've used it exclusively sense

I used to do 1.8 pvp and when I planned on upgrading my BXH to a BV2, I realised butterfly and drag clicking wouldn't be an option. Recently, optos benefit me more since I do 1.9+ pvp and play geometry dash, where a double click can make or break you.
Edit: now, playing fortnite, the faster signal helps me win more engagements when i dont have piece control. I won boxfights because my reaction time wasn't buffered by a mechanical switch
Yep
