To me Eminem has always been a funny guy by jokes or showing his depression in a way that rhymed and made it understandble. Truthfully i think royce is better but his role seems to be making sure everybody believes em is as if he has no confidence. Listening to bad meets evil on the slim shady lp royce was fire.

The issue with rappers trying to have a diss battle with em now vs 20 years ago is that em is practically untouchable now. In the 2000s, he hadn’t cemented a legacy yet and hadn’t become the juggernaut lyricist that he is now (or at least not to the extent). Frieza should’ve taken out Goku before his ass turned super saiyan.

There are rappers better than Eminem. Game is not one of them. Royce Da 5'9 is one of those rappers that are better than EM. At this point in his career, I can safely say J Cole is another of those rappers. When rappers come with all that wild, speed talk and dropping word play like they're playing scrabble I always ask one question "what is the purpose to all that?". It's the reason Logic feel off. Can't underrate his rap skills, but beyond that he had no substance. He had no message.

The Game couldn’t compete with Eminem if he had “hate it or love it” on repeat.
The Game has definitely been a top tier versatile artist that you can hear a plethora of styles and other artist within his delivery. Beat selection, tone and aggressiveness may be his 1ups. Em is a monster, wordsmith, tongue twister, and a mind boggler with a higher acceptance as the best and ultimately I feel it will always come down to preference and mood of the listener. Either way you can’t go wrong!

The problem with the “Best category” is that it is not a “single” category rather multiple “I am best at this” categories and that’s why no one ever agrees. I definitely place Em over Game as an emcee and especially if we are talking technical ability… however only a fraction of music fans listen to music for technical ability.

no one ever felt like Game was a great rapper,but it's good to believe in your ability,besides dropping Em's name is a good way to sell your records.
Game can rap but he's not a top tier lyricist like Em, Royce, Lupe,Black Thought or Crooked. He's not even close.
He should look back on what he said in a previous interview few yrs ago, "Ya don't mess with the white boy ya just leave him alone" His words, He's obviously trying 2 promote something, But I'll give him his dues he's gud at what he does but he'd never out rap or diss EM unless it's 4 publicity reason's which is more then likely 👍🇮🇪🇺🇦

You do know that Game put K. Dot on, right? You do know there are levels Dot can't go in his music because he's already pigeon holed himself as a conscious rapper, right? You saw what happened when he tried to go outside of that by dropping DAMN, right? Even Kendrick himself said it failed. Anyhow, Game kills rappers in rap beefs. Kendrick simply does not.
Em is better commercially than both Game & Kendrick, but I honestly don't think his catalog is better than Game's. Em has MMLP1. The Eminem Show. Recovery & Kamikaze as his best. Game has The Documentary. Doctor's Advocate. Some will argue for LAX. Jesus Piece was hard. It ain't a classic tho. The Documentary 2 & 2.5 are both bonafide classics. Many people liked 1992. I didn't. It was too sample heavy. His last one, Born 2 Rap is a classic... If you wanna talk Kendrick, he don't have enough catalog to compete. His best imo was GKMC.
I agree that MCs should have the mentality that they are the best in the world, but with the Game its different because of how many times he keeps bringing Eminem up in the past week. It seems disingenuous and seems like he is only doing it for attention.

i like Eminem and i think a lot of rappers make better music and better songs then he does. This does not take away from his classics and even now. that being said if we talkin about rappin, bars punchline, set ups, schemes and wordplay. the Game just isnt there. aslo the way Eminem structures his verses its formatted like a battle rappers that's why when he's on a feature is sounds like he is just killing everyone . over all i dont have many people out rappin him if were just talkn this format . i think em would do great in todays battle scene

I don't relate to Eminem but i still enjoy the music. there are alot of rappers that are incredible and make amazing music and if i had to chose a rapper to listen to over and over i would pick them over eminem. but that doesnt mean he isnt great. i really think eminem should just drop freestyles and rap in cyphers and battle where he isn't trapped by a hook and beat.
