I’m depressed even after the happy ending it still hurts to think about the alternate timelines created by revival and the trauma he had to go through just to save the people he loved it’s just genuinely sad
It really is I think he deserved a happier ending(with Kayo preferably)

Seriously. I started feeling emotional the second he started singing because the memories of Satorus trauma just overwhelmed me

Dear lord, after having watched the show, these lyrics become multi-leveled as all hell!
The title is of course from Kazu's perspective, but the lyrics of the song......They can be both seen from Satoru's point of view from the original timeline and him looking back on it when waking up........But they can also be read as in being seen from the perspective of those waiting for Satoru to wake up while he slept the years away.

@@kscreech7912 The title of the show/series "The Town Without Me". Kazu says it in her story.
@@TheMrOkamiden I think you mean kayo. Kazu is one of Satoru's childhood friends.
@@TheMrOkamiden It actually is a bit of both. Near the end of the series, Satoru says the actual title, as it's referring to what he has to do to keep everyone safe. Kayo says "Watashi dake ga inai machi", close, but not exact.

it was ok but but it wasn't really a mystery for the audience i would have liked it more if we were more in the dark and had people to think oh it could be them or maybe them. I didn't watch it weekly even though people said it would be better because i knew who the killer was and didn't see a point in thinking over the episodes
pwners4u I actually knew in the first or second episode who was the murderer >.< !Spoiler! You can see the name badge from the teacher when his mom sees the murderer. The moment I knew it xD
But I liked the series anyways and I also liked the manga series ^-^
It Was A Good Series However There Needed To Be A Few More Suspects Because Some Blatantly Didnt Do It
From the beginning until the episode we discover who's the murderer, I wouldn't imagine it was the teacher.

Amazing skull cover defiantly and do get me wrong I heard the cover of simple and clean and fell in love with Caleb's voice and while I agree his covers in the majority are better then the originals there are some opening that would just sound better with a female vocalist rather then male and vice versa of course so maybe not all anime series although I would love to see and listen to more covers

I discovered this anime 2 days ago on Netflix. And quickly became obsessed with it. I could NEVER skip the intro. One of the most catchy open innings I’ve heard. And my son likes to dance to it lol you did such an amazing job!

My opinion is he definitely is still able to have revivals. I think it may have to do with his ex-co-worker (I say ex since he never worked with her in the new future). I know that the original author only had the one season with the mangas. Another man I think did others. So it getting a second season is possible. I read sometime late this year or 2022 if I remember correctly there’s runout of a second season. But I loved the show and I loved the ending. Like, just because he saved Kayo doesn’t mean other people aren’t going to be in danger, y’know? He saved that little boy from getting hit by the semi earlier, yet that had nothing to do with Kayo. And since he kind of got involved with his co-worker with certain things, I don’t see why she wouldn’t need his help at some point maybe. But anyway, I liked the ending in a sense that people lived without his presence. The original title is called “In The Town Without Me” or something close to that. And that makes sense. I’m sad Satoru and Kayo didn’t end up together, I thought they would’ve been cute together, but it just wasn’t meant to be. And he’s still happy for both his friends leading their own lives after everything

So here's the thing: Caleb is basically an objectively better me. He likes the same music, shows, movies, etc, he has a better vocal range, and a better beard than I could ever have.

It’s interesting, but in Russian this anime is called “The city, where only I lost”. So different localization xD
The actual translation for the title in English "The Town Where Only I Don't Exist" but for some reason its referred to as Erased as well.

I still don't know the general consensus for this show, all I know is that this cover is lit.
Sora Jack I think the general consensus is that it ain't perfect, but it's pretty great. I personally recommend it.
