i know ive said it before, but shout out to baily man. dude is always filthy and getting tons of work done and always seems in good spirits smiling and having a good time. this channel has never had cars move as fast as they have been since hes joined. before 1 car having an engine swapped could be a month or more of dragged out content, now shits moving so fast every time i see the shop you can tell how much is changing in the backround that they havent even been talking about or making videos on. cherish that man being on the team!
I’d recommend REDKAP! I just bought my employees pants, shirts and coveralls! Sent them out to get our names stitched in them. The cover all the buttons and zippers so you can work around cars safely.

IMO Rudnik you definitely need to do a full rebuild of the motor in the comp car dood for real yall havent touched it since you bought it back and you don't know what that guy did to it or who alls touched and worked on the car so id want a reputable company to rebuild it ! It will definitely be faster if u do !

From that, keep the drive by wire in the Colorado, get it tuned properly and you won't even know it's by wire. Very rare to hear that a drive by wire throttle body has stuck open since every fail-safe would close it.
Agreed on the safety part, a drive by wire is definitely gonna be safer and will have failsafes, but saying it can be tuned to be as good as cable is a plain lie.
All it takes is a sensor to be out of sync and drive by wire will go wot. Happened to me in my stock e92 and stock 2018 qx50. Fail safe was stomping the breaks and shutting it off on both occasions.
@@hardhaggarage7538 Modern cars will cut the throttle if you hit the brakes very hard anyways. Also the fact it happened to you twice when it's so unlikely that most people don't even experience it once makes it stink like a lie to me.
Hey chris do me a favor and double check that your throttle body adjustments are set right and that the stop screws are stopping the throttle body before it fully opens because if not the throttle body can open itself up to much and get stuck on gunk. Also once the cable is in the car make sure it can move back and forth smoothly by disconnecting it from the throttle body and have some one push the throttle in car while you keep tension on the cable end with your hand and just work the cable back and forth. Basically youre simulating the throttle body spring and checking if the cable is smooth through the full pedal throw. Sorry about the lost car man but you live and ya learn.

Over here in England we have the best hose clamps...they are called Jubilee clips/clamps..hope they help..so much better quality than anything I've seen you guys use. If you cannot get them I'll send you some. ✌️👍🇬🇧
