The Bible says to obey God, not just whimsically believe in him like your fake Santa or the false christ that comes with the name jesus and its image on the cross brought to life by Paul of tarsus and John of Patmos the two false christ prophets of the beast.
It's that easy. The beast and it's name jesus and image on the cross came after Yehoshua the true messenger to the lost people of Isra'el, of God.

Jordan is so close. Everything he says is correct. I can explain to him what the Bible says about his dilemma. He is so close, but I can put his heart at ease. It is all about his story of 'washing the disciple's feet'. Call me Jordan and I would love, in the name of our Savior, talk to you about all of this. God Bless!!

@Jim Lipe jesus is the name of the false christ and its image is the cross and it all came from the beast the Satan out sworn enemy. It all came after the good news we call the Matthew gospel was left. The false christ named jesus was given to Paul in the desert of Damascus and it took the place of God. You all follow an idol not God.
You all freely chose to disobey God to follow Paul's unwitnessed false christ that causes you to stay in sin till death. You somehow believe the that the God who said we can all stop sin just decided to kill his own messenger because your all to losery to obey God? Honestly, only lazy fools fall for that nonsense. God is the same right to the last teaching Yehoshua taught, from Genesis to the One True Gospel. Even the gospel has had some nonsense in filled but the main point is there. Go back, learn your roots, give up sin by taking up the covenant commandments and beat sin and the devil out of you, replacing it with God and GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS left in written form so no one has excuse that they couldn't find them!

Especially since Jordan has a wide audience of people with many different beliefs who he has already helped with the wisdom God has blessed him with. He's also obviously been a broken man the last few years, because of his health and the emotional toll both that and all the traveling he does has had on him. My husband was a hard man, self sufficient man (he thought) a man’s man who ruled in all he did, till one day his health failed and he was crippled in pain unable to do much of anything physically after the brain surgery. Bitterness and contempt took root and the blame was placed on God, then those who were closest ( wife (me) and his half grown children) 12 years he languished in debilitating pain that consumed then man and left a hardened abusive shell that lashed out at everyone like an angry dog with lots to say, all the while showing his teeth but never bitting. (Verbally never physically) When all was at its worst and we all had become broken (mentally) under the weight of his pain and anger the Lord stepped and took control, within a year the heart of Stone was gone the new heart rules his life and thought he is still in pain he gets up everyday with thanksgiving in his heart for the restoration of all that was lost along the way and for all the overflowing blessing that we receive daily. If ever I had even a moment of questioning all I would have to do is look at my husband and I know that the Lord is 100% everything the Bible claims and Miracles still happen today. To JP welcome to the family as I am right there with you trying each day trying to be a Christ follower and nothing more, I follow no religion just the Bible & Christ!!!!

I however perceive he is carrying a weight that only Christ could carry. Jordan, fall totally on the grace of Christ. Rely solely on his finish work for you on the cross. • @robmarshall956
      @robmarshall956 2 ปีที่แล้ว +24

@@Christian-jx3nx do you understand that no one seeks God ? Biblically first we must understand human nature. Because of Adam’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:11), sin entered the world and became part of human existence. Because Adam is the common ancestor of every human being, we all inherit that sin nature. We are born with a natural desire for rebellion, self-interest, and disobedience. In Romans 7:18, Paul says, “For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.” In ourselves, we cannot seek after God, for the simple reason that seeking God is a good and holy thing. Sinful flesh is incapable of good and holy things (Isaiah 64:6).
Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them” (John 6:44). In other words, the only way we can seek God is if the Holy Spirit has first stirred our hearts with a desire for God. It is God who draws us to Himself. Ephesians 2:8 underscores this truth: “By grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God.” Even the faith to believe for salvation does not originate within our fleshly nature. God enables the fallen human heart to seek Him, when in our own self-centered rebellion we would never do so. Every good thing originates with God (James 1:17). Faith in God is a good thing, and so it also originates with God.
Even our best efforts fall far short of the righteousness required by God (Romans 3:23). That’s why Scripture says that no one seeks God. We seek fulfillment. We seek pleasure. We seek escape from pain. But the pure motivation of seeking after God for Himself is a gift from God. We are not saved because we had the wisdom and insight to exercise our own faith and trust God. No one wakes up one day and, on his own, decides to seek God. That would be a salvation by our own works, and Scripture is clear we are saved only by the grace and mercy of God (Titus 3:5; Romans 11:6). We are saved when God touches our hearts and prompts us to use the faith He gives to receive His gift of salvation. Even with the knowledge of God’s existence everywhere, people naturally choose to “suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans 1:18-20).
Because no one naturally seeks God, God seeks us. He sought Adam and Eve as they hid in the Garden (Genesis 3:9), and He has been seeking His lost loved ones ever since. Jesus gave this as His mission statement: “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).
When God saves us, we are born again. He opens our eyes to the truth; He gives us faith and forgiveness and fellowship with Him. We become new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). In our newness of life, we are given godly desires (Psalm 73:25), a cleansed heart (Hebrews 10:22), and a new mind (1 Corinthians 2:16). In the power of the Holy Spirit, we begin to truly seek after God.
The connection between our salvation and our seeking after God is illustrated in how God restored His people following the Babylonian captivity. The ancient Jews at first expected a speedy return to their homeland, but the prophet Jeremiah advised them to settle in: their captivity would last seventy years (Jeremiah 29:10). Lest His people despair at the thought of such a lengthy discipline, God assured them that His plans were to give them “hope and a future” (verse 11). At the appointed time, the Jews repented of their sins and began to cry to the Lord in sincerity and fervency. This is just what God had foretold: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you . . . and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you . . . and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile” (verses 13-14). The prophet Daniel exemplified this seeking after the Lord in his prayer on behalf of God’s people (Daniel 9:1-19).

What a beautiful last sentiment. Her dying breath was a massive effort to ensure your salvation. To save your life you might say. My grandfather passed away about a month ago. I will never be able to surely say if he gave his life to Christ before he died. I know as a young teenager he told me one time that he believed in God, but there were things in the bible he couldn't reconcile. That is the only thing I know of his faith. And unfortunately, even though I was raised in church, I only came to Christ a little over a year ago and by the time I realized I needed to speak to him about his salvation, he was too far gone health wise. I expected to feel entirely broken knowing he died without my knowing whether or not he was saved. And I'm saddened by it. But more than that, it has given me a strong resolve to live my life as Christ like as I can, make sure my household is in check, and try to reach anyone I can around me. 2 different kinds of people giving their loved ones the same outlook. God can use any situation to advance His kingdom. God bless you.

My Mum died last year. She prayed and ofter told me that we don't pray enough. When I say I believe she is in heaven, a very religious person challenges me saying you don't know that. I insist I do. My Mum's faith never faltered despite multiple crosses sent.
She died early in the morning. I awoke to hear the knocking (3 knocks) . I started the Rosary and fell back to sleep.
Some three hours later, I was awakened by a family member, telling me to come quickly as Mum was unwell. Needless to say, I did not rush but just said to my husband that Mum died earlier and had called and said goodbye.
I was so pleased she took the time to call before she went. When I went to see her she had a big smile on her. 🙏
We are anchored by faith, hope and charity with God who is love.

Dr. Jordan Peterson has made false comments like: “There wouldn't be any art & poetry without religion.”, and “Atheists who don't rape/kill are religious without knowing it.”. Also, he refused to admit (when asked by Sam Harris) that the OT has some horrible verses.
Dr. Jordan Peterson knows lobsters & humans had a common ancestor some 350 mil yrs ago, so he knows there were no Adam & Eve, but he is intentionally being intellectually dishonest by promoting Adam & Eve and Jesus bs stories just to monetize the gullible emotional religious fools.
Dr. Jordan Peterson admits he does not like to be asked if God exists or not. He doesn't like that question bc he would lose the incoming donations from the gullible emotional religious fools if he were to be intellectually honest and admit that he does not know the answer.
Dr. Jordan Peterson deserves an academy award for pretending to be emotional while talking about Jesus - in order to milk donations from the gullible religious fools.
Dr. Jordan Peterson admits to Joe Rogan that he has found a way to monetize the SJW.
The amount of donations from gullible emotional religious fools is a whole a lot more than SJW.
The reason someone who doesn't know if there is a God or not yet refuses to admit it, and knows evolution is a fact yet refuses to admit that there was no literal Adam & Eve, is because of the donations from the gullible emotional religious fools. That's not illegal but it is intellectually dishonest.

It makes such a difference to hear such an intellectual and academic discussing his understanding of the Creator of all life. I recall the moment vividly when I realized that all those intellectuals I had come to think so highly of, didn't have a single answer. It was the beginning of my pathway back to God.
I wonder what Mr. Peterson would make of The New Message from God, brought into the world by Marshall Vian Summers, and in particular the (free) spiritual practice that comes with it. "The Steps to Knowledge"?
I ask, because I grew up in Christianity and could feel a truth in Christ's words, but was always frustrated that there wasn't a "how too" manual. When I discovered "The Steps to Knowledge, the book of Inner Knowing," I knew that the Creator had heard my pleas and provided a clear pathway to help me (and the world) unravel the knots that living in the world had created. I have been practicing Steps for 6 years now and my life has been transformed. Gone is the anger, the judgement, the condemnation....and at last, I am learning to live a more Christ-like existence.
I feel Mr. Peterson and anyone else who has a sense of their deeper nature would benefit from this great Gift from The Divine. It has the power to turn this world around and unite the human family for the benefit of all.

God is using him to spread the gospel. He's helping many atheists find God, myself included.
I'm not even convinced that he's genuine, I don't think he's actually a Christian, I just think he believes it makes sense to live like a Christian; for a better life and a better world, etc.
I hope he has found Christ or does find Christ before his day comes, because he certainly helped me.
He definitely has a penchant toward wizardry, though, so that's a tough thing to overcome.

You know, I was an atheist when I first began to listen to Jordan Peterson. I started out a nihilistic moral relativist but Mr. Peterson got me started on a journey toward higher good that resulted in me trusting in Jesus Christ, his atoning work on the cross for my sins, and his literal, physical resurrection. I know in whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day, that day that comes to every man under the sun.
Now, 4 years later, revisiting Mr. Peterson today, I am reminded of the story of a Jewish scribe, who asked Jesus Christ, which is the first commandment of all? To which Jesus replied:
"The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God." (Mark 12:29-34)
How close Mr. Peterson is to the essence of the gospel! For the essence of the gospel which is love is grace. Jesus Christ accomplished the law to its perfection in our place because we cannot. Jesus Christ suffered and died in our place so that we do not have to. We exchange our sin for his moral perfection through faith in the Son of God. The law was given to drive men to tears at the realization that they can never fulfill the law--which Mr. Peterson has clearly done. But the law was also given so that men with tear-filled eyes may run to Christ for HIS righteousness, bought with HIS blood, for our sakes.
To believe in God as a necessary construct, to believe in Jesus Christ as an archtypical idea, cannot and will not free a man, no matter how wise and sincere as Mr. Peterson, from the burden and the consequence of his sins. Only a real, living God--only a real, resurrected Christ--and only a real, living faith can take a man dead in his sins and trespasses and give him life. I pray, having led many to Christ, Mr. Peterson may find Christ himself. Not Christ the idea, but Christ the man, the risen savior, the Lord from heaven.

"The world has yet to see what we could be". But I can think of some examples...Jim Eliot, Richard and Sabina Wormbrand, not to mention the apostles as well as the thousands of unknown present-day martyrs. Yes, it truly is impossible to live "the Christian life" in our own strength. Only Christ in us, by faith, by the power of the Spirit. It is he who lives through us when we obey his word. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord."

He is that brilliant. I have followed him for years and was elated at his conversion to Christianity. I’ve always been a deep thinker myself and I love this man’s mind and where it goes. I continually fill my day with theological thoughts of things seen and unseen. Jordan Peterson has been such a blessing to me and to all those who crave God’s word and reason. Dr. Peterson: I have listened to you and read your books for quite awhile. You have spoken many profound things that I have taken into my life to help me become a better person. This video is the most profound and meaningful address I have heard. I do not hesitate to say I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I am imperfect and am struggling to be better tomorrow than I was today. I think others may judge me because they think Christians should be as great as Christ Himself. I am not, we are not, but I and we try to improve. I believe that is what God wants us to do. God does not expect us to become perfect. God expects us to work toward perfection as best we can. You are a good man Dr. Peterson. I could hear and feel your spirituality when I started listening to you years ago. You have been chosen to be a spokesman for the good and I think you are fulfilling that calling. Thank you.

Ephesians 2:8-9 makes it clear that we are not saved by good works. In fact, before we are saved, our works are done in the flesh and cannot please God; even our most “righteous” deeds fall far short of God’s glory (see Romans 3:20 and Isaiah 64:6). We can be saved only because God is gracious and merciful and has designed a way for us to be declared righteous when we are not (Psalm 86:5; Ephesians 2:4). When Jesus became sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21), we inherited His righteousness. Salvation is a divine exchange: our tattered rags of self-effort for the perfection of Christ. Because His death and resurrection paid the price for our evil deeds, we can be declared perfect before God (Romans 5:1). We are told to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” like a flawless garment (Romans 13:14).
At salvation, the Holy Spirit moves into the repentant heart (Acts 2:38). Self is no longer the uncontested lord of our lives. Jesus is now the boss. That’s what it means to say that Jesus is “Lord” (Romans 10:9; Colossians 2:6). We were once headed south; we are now headed north. Everything is changed. We begin to view life from God’s perspective, not our own-as John Newton wrote, “I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see.”
The sins we once committed without thought now bring conviction. To know God is to see sin the way He sees it: “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God” (1 John 3:9). In other words, the believer will see a decreasing pattern of sin in his or her life. Believers may still sin, but they will not continue practicing sin as a way of life. There will be a difference between the old life without Christ and the new life in Christ. The born-again Christian produces “fruit in keeping with repentance” (Matthew 3:8). Salvation enables us to live “in the Spirit” and so truly perform good works (Galatians 5:16).
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” God’s goal in saving us was not only to rescue us from hell, but also that we would reflect His character and goodness to the world. God delights to see us becoming more like His Son (Romans 8:29). We were created in God’s image. Sin marred that image. When God bought us back for Himself, it was to restore His image in us and free us to become all we were created to be. When the Holy Spirit comes to live inside us, He prompts us to do things that glorify God (John 14:26). Our desire to please God grows as our understanding of Him grows. That desire to please God results in good works.
It is biblically inconsistent to say that someone has been saved but has not changed. Many people go through the outward motions of giving their lives to Christ, but no lifestyle change follows. That is not real salvation but is a “dead” faith (James 2:26). When you walk into a dark room and flip the switch, you expect light. If no light appears, you rightly assume something is wrong. It would be logically inconsistent to say that the light is on when the room is still pitch black. Light naturally dispels darkness. When a dark heart receives the light of salvation, it is illuminated (John 12:46). Priorities change. Desires change. Outlook changes. Life is seen clearly for the first time. If the darkness of sin continues, we can rightly assume no light came on.
To use another biblical analogy, God wants to produce fruit in our lives (see Galatians 5:22-23). He is the Vinedresser, Jesus is the Vine, and we are the branches. The branches are naturally attached to the vine; from the vine they get their support, their ability to produce fruit, and their very life. Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit” (John 15:5). That is the purpose of the vineyard-to produce “much fruit.” Good works follow salvation.
So, although we cannot be saved by our good works, when we are saved, we will produce good works. Just as a baby will grow after birth, so a believer will grow after the new birth. We grow at different rates and in different ways, but a live birth results in growth. If a baby never grows, there is something very wrong. No one expects a baby to stay a baby forever. As he grows, the child begins to look more and more like his parents. In the same way, after salvation, we grow, and we begin to look more and more like our Heavenly Father. This is only possible as we “abide in Him” and allow Him to reproduce His character in us (John 15:4).
Good works do not produce salvation. Good works are the product of salvation. Jesus said to His followers, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

Our battle is not with flesh and blood. The Apostle Paul said,
    Ephesians 6:12-13 NKJV
[12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. [13] Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
His very next word is “Stand therefore!” When we conquer the sin in our lives it’s ground taken in spiritual battle. Don’t give it back but keep conquering.
    Jesus said,
    John 3:3 NKJV
[3] Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
When you find out what this means then you can walk in your salvation here and now as God transforms you to be more and more like Jesus our elder Brother.

Forget organized "religion". Salvation is in the PERSON of Jesus Christ not in any religious system. Just BELIEVE and connect with the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe his WORDS..."Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." When a person becomes "born again" by faith in Jesus Christ, GOD changes them into a "new creation". We cannot change ourselves! Believe first and God will change you from within. Some One is added to the believer: the very Holy Spirit of God to dwell within them:
"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you." John 14:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
Spiritually "dead" people cannot change themselves:
"And you hath he quickened, who were DEAD in trespasses and sins;" Ephesians 2:1
We must give up whatever accolades or reputation we are clinging to in this life to have Eternal Life. It is all going to destroyed anyway. We must give up what we cannot keep to have what we cannot lose: Life with God forever. "Eternal life" begins the moment a person truly believes, not after their body dies.
"For whosoever will SAVE his life shall LOSE it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall FIND it." Matthew 16:25
"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." John 12:25
Eternal life is a quality of life with God not just "existence" that continues endlessly.
"And this is life eternal, that they might KNOW thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." John 17:3
