- Join us today on the WRB as we review the Rolex Submariner Date 126613LB, aka the Bluesy. This is a loaner watch from my cousin, he has an eclectic taste in watches and just acquired this Sub from RDV in Toronto.
This watch is absolutely stunning to admire in person, with deep rich and vivid shades of blue on both the bezel and dial. Color is rare to come by in the Rolex Professional range, and we have plenty of it on this two-tone reference here. The new 12 series Submariner's have been upped in size slightly from the previous generation.

That is an absolutely beautiful watch. The fact that it two tone make it versatile enough to wear with either silver or gold rings, as well as men’s bracelets. It truly is a timeless classic.
Bluesy is elegant and timeless. Definitely a keeper watch. One of an Icon in two-tone class in all luxury timepieces.
I got my new Bluesy about a month ago.
I got this amazing Rolex watch because I think that it is the most beautiful Rolex model of all.
Extremely happy to wear this amazing Rolex watch.
Congrats! I am going to the AD this weekend to add it to my registry. How long did it take for them to allocate it to you?
@@invalidgamerid Congratulations and good luck with your new Bluesy.
Amazingly and very surprisingly my AD got me my new Bluesy in just one day.
I hope you too will be lucky like me.
I agree!
I was on a waitlist for 7 months and this is what they offered me I took it! It wasn’t what I originally wanted but once it was on my wrist I just had to get it. Lots of compliments so far. I’m hoping to get a Starbucks in the future though
Bluesy is the GOAT 💙🔥
Got my call for it today. Can’t wait to have this in hand 🔥
Congrats and enjoy!
I have one on order from my local AD. I honestly can’t wait to get it… sure is beautiful
Have you bought it yet… how long was the wait?
I have the 2 tone in black, it’s dope. Might be a bit more subtle, you might like it
Bought it today on walk in in San Jose California. Just came in today morning. Lucky.
Is this a daily watch?
@@realkingrav2265 for me it is. Easyto wear and read, even at night.
AWESOME ROLEX SUBMARINER DATE WATCH WITH BLUE !!!!
Is the black or blue nicer I can’t decide
@@milohenry1233 absolutely personal choice. I’d go for the blue, it’s vivid.
I have the black two tone and I’m a slid built Italian with a hairy wrist 😂😂😂 suits me fine 👌🏻
I had this watch, the biggest issue is that it's not versatile for me, and it only looks good in certaing light conditions.
To me it seems like summer high heat airy open white shirt kind of watch
Just bought mine, awesome
Amazing pickup congrats!
I finally had the money to get a Bluesy and had to get it from DavidSW. Why not from an AD? Simple, I had to get the previous model because some bonehead at Rolex decided to change the script on the dial from gold to white. The gold script dial is amazing, especially in the sun. The white script is boring and lifeless. Bad move changing the dial like that on a watch that has so much going for it.
To each their own 🤷🏻♂️. I think the white makes it pop more.
I think the yellow looks better too although I may be biased as I've had mine since they came out and just am used to it. It's a nice watch either way.
I like the white script as it counter balance too much gold in the watch.
The white had gold surrounding it and I think it’s better white as to much gold it to blingy, it’s already blingy enough
I so much hated this reference, but recently I found it quite punchy and worth the price
This one can grow on you for sure
Hahah, solidly built Italian with a hairy wrist and likes to wear gold....fits him perfectly 😅
Price? Above 16K?
20,000$?
You didn't mention the anti reflections coating i heard was agreed on the 126610 last yea
Royal Versailles is an AD? I must have misread seeing their names on the rules website
Has anybody ever actually gone scuba diving wearing a Submariner? I would be terrified it would pop off my wrist and vanish into the deep......
Should not be a problem at all with the glide lock system. Just make sure to wear it a bit tighter than you normally would. I haven’t used a Rolex while diving, though. But I did with a Tudor BB58 (no quick adjustment) it did an excellent job. The only thing is that sand got under the bezel which caused problems with rotating the bezel. But after entering the water again a few shakes made it function properly again.
Lol...women aren't gonna comment on your watch! If they do they're gold diggers
Precious medal Submariners are beautiful, but due to the fragile nature of gold, it's a watch I would be scared to wear. Until a special occasion warrants wearing it, it would just sit in a safe. And that defeats the purpose of a Submariner, a luxury tool watch that should be worn daily. Steel models look amazing with some wear and tear; precious metal Submariners.... not so much.
Gold is certainly more of an occasion wear, although I would personally treat them equally in terms of wear time.
Wear it with CONFIDENCE! To hell with what people think. This watch is badass!
I have been wearing either my Bluesy, or my Datejust, just about every day since 1986! To look at either one, you would think it was a fairly new model!
