Hey All, thanks for watching. I am working on a Megaman X Cover project with some added story elements. Check out what I have so far and let me know what you think! th-cam.com/video/wneyK7SeIsQ/w-d-xo.html
I remember playing this game with my dad. Every weekend, at the evening, my dad and i tried to beat the game. It was so fun, and hard. Many fails and retries too. We shared the controller everytime someone dies in the game. We had a lot of fun together, haha. We didn't beat the game back then. I stopped playing this game and I moved to Far Cry games. 4 years later, I decided to beat the game myself. I did. It was hard, but I did it. I told my dad: "Dad ! Do you remember Super Ghouls N Ghosts ? That game we played a lot ?" He said "Yes ! I remember. Are you still playing it after all these years ?" And I said "Well, yes. And guess what ? I beat it !" He said he was proud of me. I have a lot of games like this one. But I will never sell them to keep memories... Jesus Christ I can't hold my tear... Nice video by the way :)
I played this 27 years ago while renting it from a local video store, never beat it. I don't think I ever made it past that second level. I want to say I did beat that star-fish monster at some point a year later but immediately got killed soon after. I stopped renting after that.

This was my favorite snes game. Such a classic. Brings up so many awesome memories as a kid playing this with my brother and uncle. It took us like 10 years to beat this game. All these years I was thinking I made it close to the end of this game back in the day, but then I realize after watching this that I had only made it to the end of stage 4.

Magnificent game for it’s time. Truly Loved every aspect until reaching the end to discover I had to return to the beginning and replay all stages in order to beat the game. I was furious and quit. I tell ya, I must have been carved out of pixelated stone back in 93 - cleared level 1 first attempt on xmas day 93, got to boss on level 2. I considered the game hard. Furthest I got was a multi headed dragon. Played it on the snes mini yesterday - can't even get halfway through the first level. Now I consider it insanely hard, and a bit unfair.

Love this so much, the hubby and I would spend countless hours playing this. We did reach the end only to be disappointed by the "bracelet", we never played it again after. Thanks for this!
Cockatrice, Hydra, Bēruaroken, and just about any of the ground enemies in the game. I use it and beat it all the way to Asutroauto and Nebiroth. It’s not that difficult. I did this in 6th grade. Six years ago.
Legendary Game, one of my all time favorite Retro video games. As a very young child i could never pass the second level. All in faded days. Thank Very much for this you, for this. This guy's A pro. Watch & Learn.
I think I managed to beat this ONCE the honest way. That was a gargantuan effort and it wasn’t nearly as well played as yours. I have a lot of respect for you not only making it through but doing as well as you did. Kudos. This was a nice trip down memory lane 😊
I remember playing this around 8 years old or so, thought I was just bad at it. Played it today on the Switch, and thought i was still just terrible at it. Went to look for tips online and only then realized it's one of the hardest titles ever made, and 8 year old me never stood a chance, and neither does current age me for that matter 🤣
Took me forever to get far in this game & I remember being so pissed at 29:37 ! I couldn't believe this fkn game is starting over. I've never been past that part. No way I'm doing that whole ordeal again. There's more fish in the sea sorry princess!
Exactly how I felt. On top of that, the bracelet is garbage, having to do it all again with that awful weapon was worse than the extra enemies that come at you.
Thx for sharing...what a superb run! This game cost me 3 years of my youth 😮 but finally I beat it (just before the PS1 came out 😅). One of the best Retro OSTs too in my opinion...
sponkmyers Ever heard of God Of War, or at least the Dark Souls series? You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about, and like the guy above me said; Super Meat Boy was one of the hardest platformers I’ve ever played in my entire life. There are plenty of extremely hard hair-ripping games around. If you want “SKILL”, go ahead and do an Ultra-Nightmare run of DOOM (2016) or play the entire Halo Master Chief Collection with all the skulls on while in Legendary difficulty. “No skill in games” my ass.
I been looking for this game for ages. I forgot the name of it and all. I used to watch my uncle play this game when I was a kid. Finally figured out what it was called. Thanks
i remember beating this game in my youth(with tremendous effort). only to get the message to do it all over, i took the game out of my snes(forcefully), didn't even turn it off, packed it up and took it to the video game store( Willow Video) and traded it fuckin in for a different game.

It was a piece of shit
Cockatrice, Hydra, Bēruaroken, and just about any of the ground enemies in the game. I use it and beat it all the way to Asutroauto and Nebiroth. It’s not that difficult. I did this in 6th grade. Six years ago.
It's funny that I never really saw the dagger being effective. The torch actually made me appreciate the dagger.
Legendary Game, one of my all time favorite Retro video games. As a very young child i could never pass the second level. All in faded days. Thank Very much for this you, for this. This guy's A pro. Watch & Learn.
Loved it, bought back those sweet memories everyone world love to re-live
Glad you enjoyed it
Omg!!! This brings back so many memories. I haven’t played this game in 30 years.
Thanks for watching! I am glad to bring that nostalgia spirit to you.
hated this impossible game as a kid
me too. lol
seriously i never actullay completed it lol

I think I managed to beat this ONCE the honest way. That was a gargantuan effort and it wasn’t nearly as well played as yours. I have a lot of respect for you not only making it through but doing as well as you did. Kudos. This was a nice trip down memory lane 😊
"How many sprites would you like on the screen to slow the game down?"
"Yes."
Actually it was a coding error causing the game to slow down not too much sprites. You can find a rom hack called "restoration" that fix everything
My favourite game of the series!
I kept forgetting to breathe while watching this
I remember playing this around 8 years old or so, thought I was just bad at it.
Bruh, so you just left her there?
Thx for sharing...what a superb run! This game cost me 3 years of my youth 😮 but finally I beat it (just before the PS1 came out 😅). One of the best Retro OSTs too in my opinion...
Back when games took skill to play.
sponkmyers plenty of tough indies these days, if that’s your thing
you mean memorizing
sponkmyers b
Super meat boy was hard AF
sponkmyers Ever heard of God Of War, or at least the Dark Souls series? You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about, and like the guy above me said; Super Meat Boy was one of the hardest platformers I’ve ever played in my entire life. There are plenty of extremely hard hair-ripping games around. If you want “SKILL”, go ahead and do an Ultra-Nightmare run of DOOM (2016) or play the entire Halo Master Chief Collection with all the skulls on while in Legendary difficulty. “No skill in games” my ass.
Thank you so much! after 25 years i can finally see what happens after the big wave in level 1 :D
I hope one day Arthur gets into super smash bros ultimate
I been looking for this game for ages. I forgot the name of it and all. I used to watch my uncle play this game when I was a kid. Finally figured out what it was called. Thanks
Glad it helped, hope it brought back good memories.
I'm here because they announced a new one today for switch.
A new Ghouls N Ghosts? Nice.
Fuck yea
@@Retronomicon Ghosts n Goblins Resurrected. It comes out for Xbox/PS in a week or so.
I tried this game the other night and I was convinced you needed about 70% luck. But there is actually skill involved. I'm impressed
I love old gothic/spooky games like this.
I play a lot of oldies, rarely is a new AAA game worthy of play for me.
What were some other ones?
Brings back so many memories of the early 1990s!
Some of the best times. Soo many good games from many different developers.
i remember beating this game in my youth(with tremendous effort). only to get the message to do it all over, i took the game out of my snes(forcefully), didn't even turn it off, packed it up and took it to the video game store( Willow Video) and traded it fuckin in for a different game.
yes, that is a bit of an insult. Capcom must have enjoyed mocking its punters. Far too hard and extremely unfair.
...and traded it for....GRADIUS III FUUUUUUU!!!!
As hard as this game was, I think it took me almost 3 months of continuous play to finally beat it back in the late 90s!! Great vid
Practice makes perfect.
The music for the SNES always sounded better 🤗🤗
watching this in 2021 remember my childhood and where my Addiction and Anger from video games first began haha
I am sure therapists were wondering why they got such an uptick in business.
I remember getting to 4:30 and thinking I had completed the whole game lol I had never even carried on playing after that😂
You saved yourself grueling hours of defeat, I would call that a win. :)
The music to this game was so underrated - what an incredible soundtrack
Lol I just played this game for my first time today on the switch and I couldn’t even beat the first level
You have to do 2 run yo beat the game. The 2 run with the shitty braçalet of princess
Is this available on switch???
@@anthonybotonis4541 I don't know if it still is since I don't own a switch. It was my brother's I borrowed for a weekend and it was then when I made that comment a year ago
Unreal.... I can barely get through the first level without throwing my controller against the wall.... you are crazy good.
Agh hahahahaha I can and In my day when I was 13 I beat it on professional It was easier on professional for some weird AF reason
Princess prin prin:
Bust - 88cm
waist - 58cm
Hip - 90cm
Damn!
I beat this game when I was 10 years old, I guess I am not that bad
Good job dude !!! Nice gameplay
I like that the Windows unplugged device sound plays at the moment the demon breaks through the Window. Nice.
44:18 After playing for like 5 hours and I start seeing the screen move.. I was like WELL SHIT I'M FINALLY LOOSING IT,
my god I played this since I was a child and then I never remembered the name and today you helped me, it is so nostalgic seeing it
anyone wanna explain to me why we needed to know the Princess's measurements?
holy shit, that is what that is. wtf.. converted to american: 34 22 35
because asians who designed the game are creepy af like that back then lul
i love it
Because Japan.
because men
Japan loves lots of character information. That's a good way to pad it.
LOVE this game. Wish I could’ve gotten past the second level as a kid. Nice to finally see the whole thing.
This is one game I could never beat without an emulator. The farthest Id ever get was the water level.
The water Level is a Piece of piss!
The most frustrating thing about this game was getting through all the levels, and being told that I had to return to the beginning and start over. The Goddess Bracelet was a pain, and I never beat the final boss.
Yes, it is a tedious way to add "replay" value, that's for sure.
A game well worth the spend though. Games today are easy and done with.
I have finished the dark souls series. this is way harder
Thank you for making this, such happy memories with friends. I had a friend Jerry who would play this and Castlevania and I would watch and be amazed. I just bought this for Xbox and discovered I love this version of the game. So sad not on xbox.
15:49 holy crap!
SKILLZ MAD SKILLZ!
I finished this game (non secret ending) back in 1992. Only thing I didn't care for in the game was the music and the lag in areas on the SNES. Still one of my most proud accomlishments in all my years of gaming.
Can’t remember passing the second level.
Very hard game
This is great . Needed to see this today .brings back memories .
did you purposefully miss the chest at the very beginning of the 1st stage?
Probably did, Eh.
Probablyndidnt know it. I mean its a weapon whod skip that
@Tyrone Taylor The wizard only comes out when certain conditions are met... It never comes out on the very first chest of the game.
