Found a much easier way to make rib or rings around lures using the forms section in Fusion 360. 00:00 Intro 00:14 Basic steps 06:23 Angled ribs steps 09:00 Curved and Joined Ribs
I enjoy your videos on Fusion very much. With the open pore bait you have the flat part at the top and the body tapers to a narrow at the bottom. I want to create a triangle rib with a difference. The outside of the rib must start at the edge of the flat and grow out the body and around the other side and fade back into the body where it gets to the flat again.. how would that be done. Would like a video on that. I am new to Fusion. Hope my explanation is good....i am Afrkaans speaking. Thanks
I have had great success with the Epax e10 (I own 2 now) - gulfstreamoutdoors.com/epax that link should give you 5% off and I make a small commission. Design program I use is Fusion 360 and my tutorials are in this playlist - th-cam.com/play/PLEdNibYdUWY4tPGBjgNSGM4auHUAMofuM.html
any idea why i get - Not support projecting sketch geometry into same sketch, please change the target sketch or geometry. ? doing the same thing as you
Sounds like you are still in sketch mode. Draw the lines in a sketch Finish sketch Create a new sketch (same plane as previous sketch) Do the project in the new sketch
@@WMBayouLures A fellow Engineer is selling me the Mars 2. He only used it twice, and didn't have any use for it. Hopefully, I can get the software soon as well.
Nice approach. Sometimes fusion 360 is not bulletproof, you have to find a workaround to achieve what you need. I have some 3D mold design vids. Please check them out. Cheers!
Great tutorial. Thanks!
Great !
I was using the classic pipe function and the harder ...
It's ancient history now thank you!
Thanks, great vid!
Thanks a lot.
Nice work !!!
awesome!!!
Cool video buddy!!
This is great. Hope that we will be able to select multiple disjointed paths for pipe in the future.
Thanks! That will be great when it happens!

Hey Leon I think I understand what you are trying to do. I am planning on making a video on open pour molds so I will try to do what you are asking.

I really need to what 3D printer and design program I should invest in. I’ll be a beginner at all of this.

Can you build lures with the free fusion 360 download or do you need to buy it?
Free version goes everything you need!
Getting my Elegoo Mars 2 on Monday. Not bad for 100 bucks.
Awesome man. Can’t wait to see what you print!

Try split surface instead, can do the pipes without getting all the cutoff bodies
Thanks will give that a try!
split face only works with one line at a time it seems, not usable for this
First.
I think you are my first ever First! 😆😆👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
