I have a question. So I have this router and 1 Gig internet speed. despite having fast internet speed, it causes my streaming services to buffer a lot and I am getting frustrated with it. I am not sure what is the problem is....would it help If I were to put the ethernet from the modem to the Multi-Gig Port (2.5G/1G), instead of the Yellow internet port? could it be a problem with the ethernet cable I have that connects from the modem to the router and need to have it replaced?
Ran into a snag, my sprinkler system doesnt pick up shared networks . I have a gateway 6e from Optimum and need to separate my different bands so B-hive sprinkler app can be read, also adding a home theater room with a lg G3 TV 83 inch. I have also observed my nest doors and climate control thermostat having issues. Would this router improve all these issues?
The WiFi 7 version finally dropped lol, I currently have this same router with the cm200 modem. Came back to this video to comment to let you know we had a good run 😂 you were right though it was a good “future proof” product but tech is gonna do what tech does best which is advance over a short period of time (for the most part) the last few years with this was a great investment. Honestly I could probably go for at least another 2 yrs but I’m starting to look into the new one😅 if I do end up getting it though I hope they release a new modem to match with 10g ports as well.
I currently have an older Netgear Nighthawk router. Is there a way to save the config file so it can be used to set this one up? Dreading reconfiguring all my devices.
My ASUS AX58U crapped out on me after just 1 month. Looking to upgrade to a wifi6e router and return this sucker. Think I’ll cop one of these Netgear’s .
really trying to decide between this and the ASUS Rapture version... as i Work from home 8-12 hours a day with lots of conference calls... personally do gaming, and streaming, and fully decked out with APPLE gear and watch alot of streaming content. so want the fastest, and reliability. and features.
@@97JoMiller yeah I used to have and old Asus, it was very reliable and stable more so than the Netgear I have now, but I'm not sure if Netgear is faster or not. But thanks for the input
The Rapture has some firmware issues, they still haven’t corrected the occasional reboots / signal loss. I just returned that and purchased this. Fingers crossed…
@@Sam-wc7uo I would pick the rapture between these 2. They share the same issues unfortunately, the NIghthawk is more noticeable though, and the software is garbage.
Had this router since it came out, but been thinking about changing to a mesh (Google Pro 6e). What do you think? Just saying as the wifi 6 on the unit looks like the same speed as wifi 5 in the settings. they both go to 4800mbps. Thought that 6e was actually wifi 6 (unlike wifi 6 is actually a modified wifi 5 single).
About two months ago, I got the top of the line net gear mesh network, it was fast, but it wouldn’t let my PS4 or PS3 connect. So I downgraded and got a different night hawk woth will work. I wanted the mesh, because I’m working on a bit of a smart home, with doorbells and cameras
As much as I like Netgear, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing is future proof. Again as much as I like Netgear this router is junk. I'll stick with their switches which are OK. I really do wish they would make a serious router rather then something somebody might like the looks of. After looking at the interface it went right back to where it came form, after that I purchased Tp-link. Even Tp-link is not perfect but it stands out as a more professional router.
I have the RAX70 AX6600 router, and I have the CM2000 modem. Works for me, I’m getting 960 down 42 up; 10 ping.

Wait hold on hold on.
I’m literally about to buy this.
Is this not a modem and router?
Do I need to buy something else with this for it to work?
this is a stand alone router, you need a separate modem
Can anyone tell me where the WPS button on this router is?
Does it work with xfinity?
Love the video. I got the ax8 model just with wifi 6 not wifi 6e...and I love it. Keep up the good work brother
what is Netgear's best gaming cable modem router. thanks

What app are you using to measure the wifi signal strength around the house?
Also curious.
Speedtest
do you still recomend this router almost a year later?
anything 6E technology you would recomend that is a Cable Modem Router Combo that you would say is the very best of the best top notch?
Is this still worth buying? I'm stuck between this and ASUS rog rapture gt-6 ax10000
This one kept reloading on me, never had an uptime of more than 14 hours. Took it back

I have a Netgear Nighthawk X10 R9000. Is this any better?
Is this compatible with Window 10.
My Netgear X80 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 hit 300+ Mbp on my Note 10 +
Thanks for simple explanation 👍🏻
thanx for the video I have a much older netgear wifi router and was looking to upgrade
looks way better then the tplink ax11000 i was looking to buy
“The Fear Of Loss Is A Path To The Dark Side.” -nighthawk creator… probably.
So this vs the Orbi...who you got Kev?

go ASUS, I just went away from ASUS to get the Nighthawk and am really regretting that choice as this thing ha been a headache

You can't port forward from the Nighthawk app internet pause devices yes but nothing intuitive the Nighthawk app is pretty vanilla

My biggest issue with the Nest Wifi Pro is that it only has Gigabit ethernet ports...no 2.5 ports at all.
Jaka jest różnica Netgear ax11000 rax200 vs Netgear axe11000 rax500?

Yo Kev it's been a while, how the fam ?... Nighthawk vs Orbi Mesh looks like it's gonna be a real battle this time 🤔

That’s because it probably couldn’t handle it. The ps4 doesn’t support many things when it comes to WiFi
Sounds good for future proof, but most clients are stuck in wifi 5.
SO in the uk it is 540uk pounds =$747 us DAMMM ON PREORDER FROM MARCH
That internet speed is actually slow. I have a horrible provider and I can get an average of 850 Mbps on a wireless connection
who your provider
Yeah I want to know who your provider is.. no way u can get those speeds wirelessly unless you're paying for 2gbps
No, slow is 50Mbps...
You literally said nothing, this was purely an infocommercial.
👍
Seems a bit of a security risk being able to open ports remotely.

Future proof for about 3 months like all other future proff junk. Lol.
