    I think Norm Duke is officially the GOAT. he’s been too good for too long, his longevity puts him over the top imo. He’s 55 and still making finals in the PBA

    I love how Troup, after a mobile phone timely going off, is easily able to knock out a strike.. so awesome

    Love to see Kyle Troup in a throwback jersey, going back to the same design as the Motiv Jersey he wore when he won his first PBA title, which was also the Wolf open several years ago

    I really enjoy watching Norm Duke bowl! He plays the game with a positive spirit and doesn't wallow in his bowling mistakes! Thanks Norm for being a fair and trust worthy player!

      Being a family man has really calmed Rash down and given him more focus. He has always been talented but too often you can see him letting his emotions get ahead of him in the big moments. This was a really good tournament for him. He stepped up and beat some really strong bowlers. Troupe, Dude and Simonson are all heavy hitters who hardly ever give you an opening. BTW, Sarah Rash still looks hot, lol.

    I hate the camera angles, plus FloBowling needs to upgrade their quality. I mean the show's alright because I like bowing in general, but there are so many factors that need to be improved. I feel like Fox does a lot better of a job then Flo does.

    • @Ironfangzu
      @Ironfangzu 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. The camera should always be from behind the bowler so that you can see the ball's path down the lane. If you watch PBA50 tournaments, most of the shots are taken from the side so you just see the delivery and then the ball hitting the pins, and you have no idea whether the ball will be light, flush, or high as it travels down the lane. Seems that they should understand such a basic thing, that viewers would want to be able to follow a shot as it goes down lane, but I guess they feel that a side view is what we want. Go figure.

    • @IamNess64
      @IamNess64 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Craig Laycox They could at least do better on the camera angles, and the commentary. You can't argue with me there :p

    • @IamNess64
      @IamNess64 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Craig Laycox Are you saying that changing camera angles so we can better see the ball reaction is considered an expensive thing to do :p

    I also wish that, on ALL the telecasts (FS1 on down) that commentators would explain that the urethane balls of today have bigger and more dynamic cores than the old Hammers and Angle's of the 1980's. :)

    • @Jason_P
      @Jason_P 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some do, some don't. The Pitch Black has a weak core and does not flare at all. Chris even mentions this.
      The Hammer Black Widow Urethane and the Roto Grip Hot Cell flare an insane amount, and neither would have been at all usable on a pattern like this.

    • @louiscsanko3673
      @louiscsanko3673 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      THEY SHOULD HAVE A VINTAGE URETHANE ONLY TOURNAMENT, U DOTS / ANGLES/ HAMMERS/ CALL IT THE PANCAKE OPEN!!

    • @odellus
      @odellus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      none of the staple urethane balls of today have weight blocks that are any bigger or more dynamic than vintage urethane balls. they all have high to very high RGs and low to extremely low differentials. as for vintage urethane, the faball weight block for example was actually fairly low RG and had a very high differential that was double or even triple that of modern urethane balls. yes, we have asymmetrical urethane balls but no one uses them and i don't think there are any in production right now as a result.

    Wolf is a hard pattern. It starts off easy w/urethane, but then the carry down becomes a mess. You try switching to a polished resin, and try to get the ball as deep as possible.... Wolf=starts off fun, quickly turns into a nightmare.

    • @bobby_c7671
      @bobby_c7671 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah...when that happens,you just gotta increase your angle thru the heads and cut the speed down. no fun at all.

    I am puzzled as to why these bowlers need to bounce the ball off the 1, 2 board on this 32 foot pattern when bowlers in the 80's were bowling on 24 foot patterns with urethane going directly up 10, 11 board with no fear the ball would break loose.

    • @freakingape
      @freakingape 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      More power from these bowlers, different lane surfaces better ball technology and probably a lot more reasons as to why these bowler cant play it as straight as the 80s.
