It means he had to amend his game more than he was comfortable. That speaks to how great a bowler he is to score on this pattern that doesn't fit his A game.
YanHaoPlayz The pin up usually adds length before the break point where the pin down can cause the ball to read the mid lane faster and transition into its hook phase a little sooner.
Kinda feel bad for wes malott, it seemed as though most pba title matches really put a lot of pressure on him. eg. needs a strike to win or needs 2 strikes to win
the only reason lavoie went high on the first shot in the 10th is because he pulled it and when he moved on the 3rd shot which caused him to go through the face when he never needed to move in the first place thats the only reason he lost
@@ianelgar6472 Problem was, I imagine, loose connections (at the amplifier) with the microphones at the foul line. Sure sounds like a loose connection.
samantha glisson , Yeah ,, the guy licks his hand, wipes it on the sole of he shoe , twice every shot,, that's just like licking the bottom of his shoe ,, UUGGGHHH GROSS !!!
Really? I haven't watch bowling for awhile but, since when did the PBA need some gangsta,( incredible that spellchecker didn't call me out on gangsta) to pump the crowd up. As far as Belmonte excusing his poor bowling with a more lackadaisical attitude is hillarious. He hasn't won a title since 2015 and the 2016 is coming to a close. So much for the greatest bowler in the world.
Stryker Aww so sad to see people like u commenting on a professional/international bowler when you yourself have not reach the same amount of accomplishment he had in bowling. 1)You talk as if you're the greatest bowler in the world. 2)Even the best have their worst season run(Dont think that they are the greatest they win all the time)
7 cashes in 8 events with 2 title so far in 2017. You were saying? Whatever you want to say to discredit Belmonte, still one of the best in the world. Keep hating, hater.
+Anaxagoran Don't mind this guy. He opens his big mouth on just about every video with Belmonte in it as if his wise-guy remarks take away any of Belmo's accomplishments. Although, as you were saying, Belmonte's victories in 2017 seem to have shut him up.
Jason Belmonte: 226 Francois Lavoie: 225 Graham Fach: 249 Jason Belmonte: 161 Sean Rash: 224 Graham Fach: 205 Sean Rash: 259 Wes Malott: 195 Rash Wins!
That is one of the most pathetic games I ever saw Belmonte play. My highest score is higher than the one he got today. How the hell can they call him the best bowler in the world? He is totally overrated.
clearly you've never bowled against anyone on these conditions. I have a 300, but Belmo would roast me on any condition 99/100 times, and its the same for you. Grow up.
Because you play on a broken down house shot. He is playing on a 52' pattern full of thick oils so he has to play inside. There is no choice but to play inside. You, on the other hand, have access to your entire respective side of the lane. Not to mention, Belmo would absolutely whip you up and down that bowling alley with how well he could bowl.
@@ghostcathedral I do not understand this whole "oil pattern" thing. What is wrong with just bowling on a regular lane. Nobody at the bowling alley I play it is rubbing that blue oil all over the place. Why don't they just get rid of the whole "oil pattern" thing? When the hell did that start?
And that is what separates you, an average bowler who probably doesn't have a game above 260, if even that, to a professional bowler who averages your high game. The different oil patterns make it so that players can't get used to the same pattern and also create different lines. If bowlers bowled on the same pattern every single time the PBA would be a 300 frenzy. There would be no point to events like the TOC and the US Open, as they have their own special patterns. The different patterns are meant to keep the bowlers on their toes. I guarantee you if you bowl on a new pattern, your average will drop by a solid 80 points.
This guy Sean has changed a lot for the better! Congrats on a job well done! Here's to more championships ahead! God bless you Sean!
Aged like milk
Dude this step ladder, for some random open, has massive talent on it
Ooohhh the little rash's daughter falls 😔😔😔, I hope she is ok.
Thanks for posting this, again. Disappointed I was with Belmo again- so many horrible shots. Good commentary, although a bit technical for me

Anyone know where I could find the full results of this tournament?
what u mean
like matches
So is the badger a short pattern, Randy?
Hahahaha, when does he say that?
He just mentions that it's a long pattern about 10 times in the first match.
its the longest 52 ft
5:18 Dynamite drop in Randy!!!
I wasn't sure if the audio was shitty or if I needed new earbuds. Don't trick me like that.
Your earbuds are probably fine. The audio on the telecast was bad. It has been bad for all of the latest shows. Sucks.
ChocolateSwirl Read the description.
Mallot admits that the pattern is not for him. My question to that is Then how did he qualify 1st
It means he had to amend his game more than he was comfortable. That speaks to how great a bowler he is to score on this pattern that doesn't fit his A game.
He's a great bowler hopefully he can get his knees back to full strength
Anyone know what ball is Belmonte using ? Hy-Road or Hy-road 300?
Hy-Road
Just the Hyroad
I think he uses two. One pin up and one pin down.
22Catch22 what’s the difference between pin up and pin down?

This MC just said the "S" on Illinois
Is it just me or did anyone else notice how smug Rash' family looked whenever he opened?
longest oil pattern in any PBA oil pattern it must be hard for a amateur to hook on this oil pattern
seeing as how the pro's can't hook on it either.....probably so.
I would wanna be in this, this looks so fun.
Belmo looks like he was up for the last 3 or 4 days on a coke binge.
Probably why he shot 161.
The best way for Sean Rash to beat Belmo is to have someone else beat Belmo. I can only imagine how thankful he was that he didn't have to face him.
Someone’s sour his idol didn’t win
fix your audio
MONTGOMERY ILLINOIS?! OMG THAT'S LIKE A 5 MINUTE DRIVE. WE HAVE PROBABLY BOWLED AT PARKSIDE LANES AND I NEVER NOTICED!!!!!

Funny how most of the comments are about hair, why don't you guys go watch a beauty channel 🤣
23:15
20:25 7-10 split
Sean is getting a little thin on top too. He'll have my hair style in a couple years.
In game 2 Jason was diagnosed with "Kent syndrome"
belmonte looks strung out af
Jason. WTF IS THAT HAIR? XD
can we get one of these bowling tourneys uploaded without shit audio

sean lost a tooth on the mandible???
Pitch Black as a spare ball?
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
You can use any ball as a spare ball if you flatten your wrist
That’s the length of the pattern for you lol
some use there reactive strike ball as a spare too........flatten your wrist and they ALL can go straight.
the first match was exciting and very close
nice bowling by belmonte
Was anyone else grossed out by Fach licking his hand and then touching his shoes? That's so unsanitary
Someone get him a wire brush if he's sliding too much. Oml.

Gar Laa
but....it would be worse if he were to touch his shoes and THEN lick the hand? no? lol
1 55 announcer pronounces Illinois with an s.
Nathan Stringer that made me angry I’m from illinois
Code One Gaming illinoise? That’s how it’s pronounced right?
sean rash looks more mature not with that personality that doesn't help him in the past
rash has best attitude on tour
When bowling tried to have a hype man. The announcer was so cringe. I love all the players tho
Now I'm happy to be bald.
