I'm really happy with this kit, It's actually my favorite MG to date. I haven't had any weight issues with the claw arm popping off of the shoulder so that may just be your kit, or mine for that matter :P. Great review, keep them coming!
Wouldn't have expected it, but an effect part for each section, and the 3 cables that come out of the shining finger hand (when he F#%$'d up some zakus!) woulda been nice. Gonna mod for them on mine for sure. It just arrived today!😃
Actually it makes sense that the turn x would have parts that seem somewhat organic, the nanomachines that it was made from are what repaired it and from what i understand it was doing so without enought materials so they had to compensate by making it what it is now, thinking of it that way the nanomachines would probably had to make as much use of available resourses as possible expanding existing parts naturally making its components look something that would naturally occur
AND imagine if the Turn X is merely a mass production unit that the aliens thought it is worthless enough to be dumped whole as space trash, and their actual battle units....
idk if anyone else answered your question about the weird X sticker on the torso but I'm p sure thats related to the "Moonlight Butterfly" ability that only Turn X and Turn A can perform. it is some kind of world destroying thing kind of like the wing zero buster gun
You might have got a bad mold for the right shoulder. The right shoulder on mine is really tight and never falls off. Great reveiw and I really like this kit. One of the best and unique non gundam kits.
@@titan133760 My personal head cannon is that the X and A are remnants from whatever interstellar empire the colonies built after they left the solar system tens of thousands of years before the start of the series. Perhaps They were sent to judge what was left of mankind, dont know its never explained. I would watch a Gundam anime all about that. Apparently according to the wiki the X fits that description but drifted to earth as refuse basically. And the people left on earth were so terrified of the advanced technology found in the X that the reverse engineered the Turn-a from its remains. The two suits fell into a faction dispute and they ended up destroying the civilization left on earth.
This is one my most wanted kits and I can't wait to get it. I remember like years ago when I had a wish list and there where only 2 kits I truely wanted to be made and this was one of them. The other being MG kyshatriya. Anyways great review.
I still hope that someday Tomino shows us the arrival of the Turn X, and what it originally looked like before being damaged. All we really know is that it drifted to Earth from outside the solar system, and was way beyond any mobile suit technology that existed in the Earth Sphere at the time. The master grade model does really seem to hint with some of the clear and greenish portions that the suit may have a psycoframe, and the asymmetry and detail to damage gives us a clue of how much the suit actually changed over time.
Thanks for the upload Can't wait to get mine Though I kinda wish you made a height comparison with it with Turn A or other MG kits side by side standing together But still anyways nice review
It's odd how my Turn X has fantastic right arm stability. Sure an forward stretched shining finger is heavy, but i can pose it fine fully outstretched.
Just had a thought. Could you use those extra attachements on the action base to help with posing kit while assembled, especially that should that keeps popping off.
The multicolor sticker at the beginning was what happened when the Turn X used the Shining Finger or the Moonlight Butterfly, it was one of those two. I can't remember.
I thought it was suposed to be that weird glow that would start whenever the turn a was nearby remember the x design on its chest was originally battle damage caused by the turn a and whenever it is nearby the psycoframe reacts to the turn a's and begins to glow
If you happen to own a MG Sengoku Astray, I'd love to see a review for it. Anyways great review, it's been quite a while since the MG Turn A, nice for this to finally turn up.
It's good to see you back on. I have a question you have done stuff before with vegeta8259 do you know why he hasn't posted any videos lately? I am just worried something had happen to him.
Will the joints be strong enough to support upper body weight as these are seriously let down in balance and require a display stand and the weight of the weapons have even pulled down a arm - so come on metal joints
from looking around this kit does not seem to use polycaps, is that correct? Also, do you think this kit was designed similarly to the Turn A? For some reason I think this is one of the kits that Bandai has been sitting on for a long time or maybe something with the "transformation" was hard to crack.
Does anyone think that a master grade dark matter exia is possible for this year since it's basically exia repair 2 with a backpack, different weapons, a couple of different changes to the body but only slightly?
From what I've read turn X uhm that foil X it's kind of like turn a with the butterfly effect or the butterfly wing orÆ burst but its power get depleted before its energy burst of butterfly wings so that's just a sign that it does its there but its not energy burst會
I don t think it is a psycho frame, BUT I am pretty certain that it is a very powerful psycommo system which the turn x has in order to use its all range attack.
Nice review Jabman. Shame about that right shoulder. Personally I don't really care too much about the funnel fission gimmick; the shoulder problem might not have been so evident if it weren't engineered in.
As always, great review Jabman! I'm sure this has been asked before, but do you keep a count of how many kits you've given a Thumbs Down/Thumbs Up?? Thanks!!
In all honesty though, there haven't been any "true" new MG's this year besides the Gundam X. The rest are re-molds (Build Strike, Sengoku Astray, Build MK II, Phenex). Not much competition. What's next anyway? X-divider?
I thought it was obvious, but I guess I neglected to mention the Turn X was a new mold. My bad. My point is that while i like the Turn X and have nothing against it being MG of the year so far that doesn't account for much when the only real competition it has is the Gundam X. We don't even know what else is on the way besides Hi-nu.
*Jabman when I want to see more of what these suits do I've been checking out TH-cam for matches on Gundam Versus, you get to see all the mobile suit's functions from every Gundam series*
i've see the video between you jabman and vegeta 259 about customizing mg zeta plus. . . .hmmm what happen to vegeta259 by the way? . . . .hope you wont quit building gundams man. . . :-D
The "X" shape on it's torso is a wound caused by the Turn A when they were in battle thousands of years before the start of the anime.
How do you know
@@ethanspaziani1070 it was explained in the anime.
@@Shaqdog forgot about that
but what is the stuff inside it? Nanomachines?
how can there be a turn x when x is the same no matter what way you turn it?
my friend some questions are just beyond us mortals
I'm guessing its a A and a turn A on top of each other so makes a X
Well... Syd Mead's design.
+gojidoh #hitsblunt
THis question was actually asked by a character in the series.
I'm really happy with this kit, It's actually my favorite MG to date. I haven't had any weight issues with the claw arm popping off of the shoulder so that may just be your kit, or mine for that matter :P.
Great review, keep them coming!
Turn X is one of my favorite designs from Turn A Gundam. There is just something special about Turn X's design that makes me like it.
I’m a little late to the party but mine is coming in the mail soon. Your review makes me even more excited for it.
Wouldn't have expected it, but an effect part for each section, and the 3 cables that come out of the shining finger hand (when he F#%$'d up some zakus!) woulda been nice. Gonna mod for them on mine for sure. It just arrived today!😃
been waiting for you're review on this MG man before I picked one up or not. awesome review man as always

Imagine if it was just a the grunt suit of aliens. Imagine if them aliens come to attack earth with a swarm of them......
AND imagine if the Turn X is merely a mass production unit that the aliens thought it is worthless enough to be dumped whole as space trash, and their actual battle units....
周生生 actualy it think that is true
I just had my MG Turn A, did he really made the butterfly wing effect for the Turn X? THat would be awesome.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!
its indeed weird a model

Pretty sure it looks so weird because it's literally an alien Mobile Suit. As in they found it when it drifted into the solar system.
This may also explain why the Turn A Gundam is classified as an "Interstellar Warfare Mobile Suit"

How big is this kit compared to the MG Sinanju?
This is one my most wanted kits and I can't wait to get it. I remember like years ago when I had a wish list and there where only 2 kits I truely wanted to be made and this was one of them. The other being MG kyshatriya. Anyways great review.
Its a very unique looking kit, i really want to pick one up.

EpicSteve23
Oh yeah, I stand corrected. I was watching Gundam series after Gundam series when I watched Turn A.
It's the scars that the turn x couldn't heal from damage caused by the turn a centuries ago
Nice review a unique kit that ill have to buy
Great review. I'd love to put some flickering leds behind those clear smoke parts.
i might just glue the shoulder together. i have no plans to display mine in the seperated mode.
FYI it also the X sticker フォ位sticker it could be also energy absorption from other Gundams it takes the power from other Gundams so yeah
Hey Jabman, was wondering if you're gonna build the Hi-Nu, ver Ka??
If you happen to own a MG Sengoku Astray, I'd love to see a review for it. Anyways great review, it's been quite a while since the MG Turn A, nice for this to finally turn up.
kinda makes me want one, I've read about the turn X but its unorthodox appearance makes me wanna purchase it...
The Undying Gundam 😈

Never knew it had that funnel body stand. Bizarre

no polycaps in the kit
Where do you buy your gundams? Online?
Im new to these kits but i just build a SD Banshee 002 unicorn (with the lasergun, claw, shield and the gun)
And what sand paper do you use, if i may ask?
Wait, does Turn X count as a gundam? Idk, I haven't seen Turn A yet.
Turn X is not a Gundam unit. That would be the Turn A Gundam.
I was hoping you'd pose it next your SUMO and Turn A MG. I want this kit but I can't afford it!
Does anyone think that a master grade dark matter exia is possible for this year since it's basically exia repair 2 with a backpack, different weapons, a couple of different changes to the body but only slightly?

Sasuga turn A no nii-san!
great review,thanks
I have a question - are the black parts made of ABS?
(I was wondering if those parts can be painted.)
no ABS on this kit
Yay!
Nice review Jabman. Shame about that right shoulder. Personally I don't really care too much about the funnel fission gimmick; the shoulder problem might not have been so evident if it weren't engineered in.
Now we know that this is set thousands of years after the end of the Universal Century and the Regild Century

Can you close the claw while the effect part is in there for Beam Saber mode?
no, the only way to use it is with the claw open
You can close the claw slightly but not all the way.
That chest sticker could just exist to look cool.
I am trying to get him
New leader for MG kit of the year... Over the raisin bran box? I am disappoint.

Alex Catchpole If this isn't new I don't know what is...
Alex Catchpole This is a complete new kit, so what do you asking about?= =
I thought it was obvious, but I guess I neglected to mention the Turn X was a new mold. My bad. Alex Catchpole Bandai has a funny habit of trying to save the best for last. Has worked pretty well so far.
What do you wight home about?
You're a legend
i cant wait for mine to get here gundam planet is taking forever to ship mine out like grrr
This kit is bigger than just about every other monster group because of the extinction of its legs then at the stand pretty big one tall
Your voice is very different what I remember. Are you the same Jabman or has he been replaced by an evil clone?
no just had a sore throat shortly before recording...........my evil clone did attempt to take over my channel once........but I stopped him
Oh good. Gotta keep those clones at bay. It's a shame that the shoulder joint is so loose, but this kit seems pretty fantastic otherwise!
I wanna see a custom paint job!
GTPRIME209 In build fighters there was a Turn-X in Bright Gold Chrome
This kit reminds me of General Grievous from Star Wars
For some reason i get reminded of the sentinal from xmen when i see this. is it just me?
His leg does look like that in the Anime.
the Turn-x isn't really a gundam. it's never explicitely called a gundam. i think it's something comepletely different.
Steven Tarsitano yeah I don't believe it is it's also the counterpart of the Turn A gundam
Hey Jabman025 do you know what happened to RROBBERT184 and Vegeta8259?
yay! a new review!
Picasso would be proud
The claaaawwwwww!
The craw?
Hey Jabman, did Rrobbert184 quit Gunpla too? Please don't disappear on us.
not sure what happened to him, don't worry though I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon
*Jabman when I want to see more of what these suits do I've been checking out TH-cam for matches on Gundam Versus, you get to see all the mobile suit's functions from every Gundam series*
I actually prefer the Gundam X over this one.
i've see the video between you jabman and vegeta 259 about customizing mg zeta plus. . . .hmmm what happen to vegeta259 by the way? . . . .hope you wont quit building gundams man. . . :-D
Vegeta quit gunpla
Projectzero X ohh . . .thats too bad
I can't understand how its creator thought of this type of design 🤔🤔🤔
That's Syd Mead for you
I can pass on it I like it but not too much I prefer bandai comes out with a mg geara zulu tho
Not sure I want this kit, it's pretty fugly.
MG Turn A still looks cool though.
Ok this gundam looks the weirdest
This was made in the 19s and its weirdness is cool
a pile of WHAT? LOL
First!
more like a gipsy danger in gundam series.
turn-x isn't a gundam.
that's like saying the power rangers aren't robots
