Many other reviewers tend to shill for bandai. Thats why i always look for tue jabman’s review of a potential mg purchase. With epyon im so glad i chose the rg over the mg. Looks like an okay kit w some funky areas. I deff hate all things jenky looking stickers related, like the chest and feet. Ps i enjoy the vids jabman!
If a giant, two-headed monstrosity of a mobile suit came barreling at you at just under mach 1 belting out Randy Newman, even Domon Kasshau would crap his pants. And what's TRULY scary is that I can really picture Milliardo Peacecraft doing it *shudder* Nice review, as usual. Bad nubs don't really bother me, even for a straight build with little painting - filing/sanding away the nubs as opposed to cutting them will leave only minor abrasions that topcoating will cover right up.
The old Epyon was actually my first gundam kit too! (only the 1/144 version) Definitly a great looking MG. The heat rod there looks to have pretty great posability, a big plus for this kit in my opinion.
i just got this kit and ive been cleain up the nub marks on the dark blue parts with a gundam marker that came with the gundam seed destiny set number 2 and it works just fine
First time I've ever subbed to any channel, love the videos, keep up the good work, getting back into the models finally, you may have answered this before but do you paint any of your models?
+jabman025 sorry so many questions I know nothing about these and want it to be a surprise. but are these two like known to be together? because on amazon you can buy them together
@Meko5 they will. sandrock EW is already announced for november and the heavyarms EW is currently in its planning stage. my guess is that they will release it in february or so.
This kit is really nice and has made me want to get the rest of them from "Wing". I personally can't wait for Sandrock. I did have a slight issue with the legs being wobbly though. Other then that it's a great kit. I may get another to have both modes next to each other.
Hey, just like me the high grade epyon was my first kit too! Awesome review tho, just picked this up Friday and built it on Saturday, haven't put the decals on it yet. Without a doubt my favorite feature on this kit is the heat rod, it took a while to assemble the whole thing but man it was worth it. I wonder if they are ever planning on giving us the rest of the Gundams from the series.
Great review, it is a shame about those nubs. Now alls we need is a mg wing zero tv ver, Id love to do a diorama of the final showdown between those two! Great one more thing was soooo not expecting that I think i cried a bit peace out dude
been trying to finish a custom kit before i moved onto Epyon, and i'm just about done it. looking forward to starting the Epyon, although having just done the MG Victory Gundam I think i'm gunna skip the decals on this guy, at least i'll wait for the water slides to come out....dry decals test my sanity.
Can someone explain to m what the hell is wrong with the G20 shoulder connectors on this kit? They snapped off in the shoulders the moment I tried to adjust the shoulder positions. They seemed to be way too tight and now I need replacement parts.
That looks AWESOME!! Epyon is one of my favorite suits over all, I got really excited when I got my high grade a couple years ago( there were only 3 available when I bought it online) this one being master grade it’s a must, do you know if it’s available on amazon or ebay?? Also do you have any Devil gundam??
@jabman025 good to know! im looking forward to its review. i really like the design and the color scheme, plus its the first MS that i actually like in its transformed mode :P
Ordered this kit off of Amazon, it should arrive by the time you read this comment (It's been a few months, not sure how often you read comments :P) and I know what to look out for when I build it. the nubs aren't much of an issue for me, however as for the water decals, got any tips on how to apply them? I didnt even bother with them on my MG Unicorn Destroy Mode, but did so with my level 7 HG Rx 79 kit, it wasnt TOO bad, but it has simpler geometry.
on the heavy arms EW kit, there are not too many decals. i was expecting it to be more ver ka like... anywho i have a question:when painting the missles and the gun barrels in his chest, how did you maks????
How the hell did you get the Wing ver ka. to hold its gun? I can't get that thing to stay in place for the life of me. Also, do you know why the Wing MG kits seem to be smaller in general from seed, 00, and UC MG kits?
@jabman025 I can't wait for that! Personally so far all the unicorn MG kits have been flat-out incredible(although Zeta HD color ties Unicorn as my favorite MG). Just ordered this kit fron Animeking who always manages to ship in like 4 days. can't wait to build it. Where do you usually order yours?
I know this is a necropost, but the answer is yes and no. Most MGs use a standardized set of sizes for joints. That said, allot don't but as long as they are from the same series (endless waltz in this case) allot of pieces will be interchangeable. I'd head to Reddit and ask specifically what you want to interchange beforehand as there are allot of variables that could go wrong. Even if pieces could fit together separately the armor selection may not be compatible. There's allot that could go wrong and the kits are pretty expensive (for my wallet anyway) so if that's a main reason your thinking about certain kits, you should check beforehand. Definitely ask about back pieces as they are not and mostly never have been standardized fyi. One last thing to consider is relative scale difference. They (Master Grades, or MG) are 1/100 but putting a MG Sazabi Ver.Ka arm on an MG EW (Endless Waltz) Heavy Arms will look very odd as the Sazabi is significantly larger at scale (like beastly sized) then the smaller than average MG Wing Gundams, especially the EW ones I've seen. The Heavy Arms EW MG is short enough to be confused for a slightly above average sized 1/144 High Grade (HG) model. Just keep that in mind and also consider it in your kitbash as you may want some taller/thicker legs or bigger shoulders like that. A year late, but I hope that answers your question and any others that are curious. If you want to fool around in something made for that check out The HG build divers and especially The Iron Blooded Orphans, or IBO 1/144, along with the new Core Fighters and 30 Minute Mission series(3MM). They (The IBOs) are cheap and basically designed to be modular across the board. Personally I own allot of IBOs and while quality may be an issue for joints as long as you have some experience fixing there problems they work amazingly kit bashed as they were designed to be extremely modular. The new Core Gundams (Fighters?) (might have the name wrong) are similar but I'm inexperienced with them honestly but they do display that kit bash quality. If you really want to kit bash cheaply, the 30 minute mission series is starting to come along nicely, and they are dirt cheap and are starting to pick up a decent library of small add-ons and recently big add-on conversions. They aren't part of an aired or comic series so they are non cannon but they are designed specifically for extreme kit bashing on a budget. No joke, you get a main 30 mission "Gundam", they look like fancy general models at fist, aka cannon fodder and convert them into Armored Core esque models or full fledged Gundams both specialized and non as well badass general infantry, and my fav Mercenary styles. Since there's no scale to build up to you could easily paint them by hand and kit bash some action figures to create badass one of a kind models I only suggest that as a conversation between myself and a WarHammer 40k painter were discussing his custom alterations and those models were displayed right in front of us and he honestly considered trying something like that. A little advanced for most but I intend to attempt to fulfill that vision we shared as I'd like to pick up a few lessons in painting from an experienced painter who had a style I enjoy. Anyway, I'm ranting off topic, but I recommend picking up.a popular IBO like Barbatos and a similar "hero" Gundam and checking out the any Graze builds. They only vary by good guy bad guy internal skeletons and are mostly uniform and completely modular all round. Unless you've already kit bashed before hand IBO and 3MM sets should give you some decent ideas of what and where you can go as you scale up. Just check Reddit, I'm sure someone better than me could give you better and more specific assets and examples. If you paint too, you can just disregard most of this btw, fixing these issues can be a hassle but if you are into even minor customizing, experienced with repairs, just working with plastic in general, and a bit of resculpting then the only limit is what you (and your wallet) can think of. Good luck, stay safe.
great review again! and yeah, i have heard about the bad nubs! :O just like the sinanju i wouldnt have bothered putting on the decals though. its just too much! it distracts from the kit itself in my opinion. im not going to pick this up though. i have never been a huge fan of the epyon... say jabman, will you be buying the delta plus? that is the kit im looking forward to the most at the moment^^
Nice review mate, I'm just wondering is this awesome piece need paint at all? I mean would it looks good without painting? Anyway, awesome job, thanks mate
Hey Jabman, do you have problems with the ball joint in the waist? My Epyon tends to fall apart at the waist joint. In fact when the model is airborne it just falls apart at the mid section.
Personally, I'm looking forward to either the EW Heavyarms MG or its Ver Ka EW counterpart. Then again, maybe they should try to make a RG Gundam Epyon figure.
drkleo01 that wasn't wing zero it was wing gundam ew which is basically the verison of Wing gundam if the creator of the endless waltz mecha designs had created the original series designs also that other one is wing gundam zero ew
Why do they call these kits "Endless Waltz" kits? Epyon isnt even in Endless Waltz, and none of the other Gundams in these EW kits even look like the remake takes from the Gundams in the Endless Waltz movie. They look like how they look in the original show.
Luke Christopher during the time these kits were released their was a new wing manga that basically retold the story of the series but with a few changes, one of witch was the designs of the gundams............and the manga was called Gundam W Endless Waltz
***** I can't really tell the difference just by looking at your videos, but anyway are their Master Grade kits for the original Gundams shown in the original series/manga? So basically MG kits that are not "Endless Waltz"?
the artist hagime katoki redesigned the suit for endless walts and redesigned all the TV suits thats what the Endless walts kits are and they are used in the manga Glory of the losers and the novel Frozen teardrop
the artist hagime katoki redesigned the suit for endless walts and redesigned all the TV suits thats what the Endless walts kits are and they are used in the manga Glory of the losers and the novel Frozen teardrop
I have this sitting by the MG Rick Dias but I am waiting for finals to be over with and work to pick back up since the Finals schedule killed my time I could spend building and working. So I am broke currently :( . Curse little hours and bills.
Man, I really need RG version of this
And now it's here ❤
Many other reviewers tend to shill for bandai. Thats why i always look for tue jabman’s review of a potential mg purchase. With epyon im so glad i chose the rg over the mg. Looks like an okay kit w some funky areas. I deff hate all things jenky looking stickers related, like the chest and feet.

The very first fully undergated MG Wing kit is going to be the Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver. Ka, which is going to be released in late November.
i just got this kit and ive been cleain up the nub marks on the dark blue parts with a gundam marker that came with the gundam seed destiny set number 2 and it works just fine
Building the heat rod literally pulled the skin of my thumb just like the spiked shoulder piece of the mg Sinanju.
First time I've ever subbed to any channel, love the videos, keep up the good work, getting back into the models finally, you may have answered this before but do you paint any of your models?
Just brought this kit to go with my GFFMC WZ. I hope down the road they make a GFFMC Epyon
thank u for doin this review I loved it I just got my epyon in the mail yesterday
i just bought this for my husband for fathers day! i really would like to know what the winged angel is called?
Wing Zero custom, here is my review th-cam.com/video/_lgX_7NU0to/w-d-xo.html
+jabman025 sorry so many questions I know nothing about these and want it to be a surprise. but are these two like known to be together? because on amazon you can buy them together
yes, the are from the same series and the fight each other in the finale of that series
+jabman025 great thank you!
you deserve thumbs up for such a cool surprise
@Meko5 they will. sandrock EW is already announced for november and the heavyarms EW is currently in its planning stage. my guess is that they will release it in february or so.

I'll say this i had the epyon in transformed mode and my friend was like "Ooh is that a transformers toy"
I'm pleased with this kit and review now all we need is the rest of the Custom kits in MG and a Tallgeese 1,2 and 3 in one MG just like the HG version
Nice build. The Epyon Gundam was great.
Hoping to get mine soon. Saved up for it then i went to a convention there were no epyon. So Freedom was my first MG.
Hey, just like me the high grade epyon was my first kit too!

A LOT of thick gates on this kit. I went through a good 2-3 buffing blocks on it.
damn, a very nice kit being reviewed by a nice reviewer, now it's your fault why I'm craving for this gundam, sir jabman025 :D
keep it up sir!
Great review, it is a shame about those nubs. Now alls we need is a mg wing zero tv ver, Id love to do a diorama of the final showdown between those two! Great one more thing was soooo not expecting that I think i cried a bit peace out dude

I dont ever put the water decals on myself to hard so i just use the ones u peal off but this looks like an easy one
I've been hunting for this MG kit. Rotten luck so far.
Can someone explain to m what the hell is wrong with the G20 shoulder connectors on this kit? They snapped off in the shoulders the moment I tried to adjust the shoulder positions. They seemed to be way too tight and now I need replacement parts.
The 144 scale Epyon was my first kit ever
i hope they make a 1/144 verson of this.;(
That looks AWESOME!! Epyon is one of my favorite suits over all, I got really excited when I got my high grade a couple years ago( there were only 3 available when I bought it online) this one being master grade it’s a must, do you know if it’s available on amazon or ebay?? Also do you have any Devil gundam??
@japman025 does this kit still hold up after 11 years?
@jabman025 good to know! im looking forward to its review.
i really like the design and the color scheme, plus its the first MS that i actually like in its transformed mode :P
01:35 right running ant-pilot?
From my opinion this is best looking EW kit. Then again I love Epyon's design so I am kinda biased in that sense.
great review as always jabman. the kit looks very fierce but im not a huge fan of all those bad nubs :( guess it will definitly need some love !
Ordered this kit off of Amazon, it should arrive by the time you read this comment (It's been a few months, not sure how often you read comments :P) and I know what to look out for when I build it. the nubs aren't much of an issue for me, however as for the water decals, got any tips on how to apply them? You were not lying about the nubs. I must've spent at least a good half hour sanding those down.
They didn't need to call this Ver. KA since Katoki designed all the suits for EW.
that sweet buttercup sure is terrifying, and very funny at the same time, it's ridiculously funny jabman, you're too much, hahaha!!
ok, that one more thing was hillarious. where do you come up with the ideas?
on the heavy arms EW kit, there are not too many decals. i was expecting it to be more ver ka like... anywho i have a question:when painting the missles and the gun barrels in his chest, how did you maks????
Is the white part on the chest a sticker or plastic piece?
I remember it was a sticker on the 1/100 hg
no it is molded in white, no sticker needed
Epyon is my fav to!
Should I get this? Or MG Proto zero? Or MG F91? Or MG wing Gundam tv version?
May i ask what your hoping for next as a MG now that Epyon has been granted? XD
where do u get all of ur kits
Great review as always! Which would you say is the better kit, MG Epyon or the MG Tallgeese III (ignoring the p-bandai price tag of course)?
Epyon
Thanks!! Will look out for this at my local store
How the hell did you get the Wing ver ka. to hold its gun? I can't get that thing to stay in place for the life of me. Also, do you know why the Wing MG kits seem to be smaller in general from seed, 00, and UC MG kits?
Love the ending
@jabman025

How tall is epyon compared to victory?
if you count the wings, epyon is about an inch and a half taller
I was having issue with connecting the torso with the pelvis it just kept coming off every time I posed any suggestions?
I had the same problem. I glued it...
I was wonderin' if the parts between the MG kits are switchable? Can you put the arms of one MG gundan on another?
I know this is a necropost, but the answer is yes and no. Most MGs use a standardized set of sizes for joints. for some reason my cable doesn't connects at all
great review again! and yeah, i have heard about the bad nubs! :O
just like the sinanju i wouldnt have bothered putting on the decals though. its just too much! it distracts from the kit itself in my opinion.
im not going to pick this up though. i have never been a huge fan of the epyon...
say jabman, will you be buying the delta plus? that is the kit im looking forward to the most at the moment^^
This kit would go so well with the Hydra Gundam.
Summer Rie if only it had a Master Grade...
Nice review mate, I'm just wondering is this awesome piece need paint at all? I mean would it looks good without painting? Anyway, awesome job, thanks mate
no paint need on this kit
Hey Jabman, do you have problems with the ball joint in the waist? My Epyon tends to fall apart at the waist joint. In fact when the model is airborne it just falls apart at the mid section.
I LOVE EPYON
u need to do a collection video
Personally, I'm looking forward to either the EW Heavyarms MG or its Ver Ka EW counterpart. Then again, maybe they should try to make a RG Gundam Epyon figure.
11 years later and they finally made it!
What version of the Wing Zero were you using on that stand? What is the other Zero as well?
drkleo01 that wasn't wing zero it was wing gundam ew which is basically the verison of Wing gundam if the creator of the endless waltz mecha designs had created the original series designs also that other one is wing gundam zero ew

I wish it was hg revive version
sweet little buttercup lmao!!!!!!!!! got dang jabman lol
i really want that but if i have a budget is outstock ^^ if i dont have budget its available i never try free order,.. ^^
This looks like a upgraded master gundam if you compare the two
do you paint it?
nope straight build
Did you used any markers?
I have to build one too, and I don't know if is better to use a black marker to define some detail or not...
if you look at this model kit from a specific angle, it would look like epyon is presenting it's junk at you
@jabman025 thank for the info...keep it up dude
i like to know if ishop2go.com is a good spot to buy the gundam kits cuz i just got back into them and so far just for two i spended like 124 maybe

:D
@marionetemanJ Bullsh##!
lol
body is too small
Could you switch the chest piece from Wing Gundam Proto Zero to Epyon? I'm curious because I'm interested in purchasing one.
probably, they are based off the same frame
@@jabman025 Cool!
