Something that would be cool is if they give us the option to constrain hazards and boost pads to the track so. One great example of what I’m referring to is Hot Wheels Unleashed 1 & 2.
is there a way I can add my own custom music? in normal UEFN you can add a radio and put your flac or wav or whatever file into that, but i dont think there is no radio device in uefn rr version
At the top of the editor, click on "Window", then hover over "Detail" in that dropdown menu. Then click on "Details 1." Hopefully this worked, let me know if it still doesn't work!

I have a Discord linked in the description that you can join. But I think I know your issue, you need to do the same thing I did at 14:33 with the checkpoints but on the final checkpoint where the finish line will be, you need select the last checkpoint, click that little pencil icon as shown at 15:09 , and then select the beginning checkpoint/start. That's me assuming based off what you told me that your track does not loop but has multiple laps. Join the Discord if your still having issues though.
Yes you can, check out 6:32 in the video to see the visual of how I did it. Now I don't know if you can create multiple splines with no road, I haven't tried that yet.
Hey man, whan making landscape, do you know how do i edit the land outside of that small initial island? whenever i click on sculpt and then i click on the water nothing is happening
What I recommend doing is in your Outliner, select everything within the landscape drop down, and delete it all. From there you can go to landscape mode, click on manage, and then new, and then you can customize from there
You could find the landscape within the Outliner & you could go into details on the landscape and uncheck affects landscape and you'll have full control over the entire landscape of the island
I made a map with like 8 secondary tracks.. every time I go to launch a session it fails validation and says that my secondary tracks are looping.. is there any way to fix this?
I ran into this same issue, the way I fixed it is by continuing the main track through the middle of the secondary tracks and then make those new main track points invisible by selecting the no track on each point. Then re add the secondary tracks individually. Whenever you click on a secondary track you will see 2 blue lines, one at the beginning of it and the other at the end. Those blue lines go from the secondary track to the main track. Or at least they should apparently. If this was a bit hard to understand, let me know and I can try to explain it a bit more.
@@AverageBum so do you need to delete the second tracks and re add them? I spent a lot of time on the second tracks and really don't want to delete them. Also you said run the main track right through the secondary tracks.. does the main track need to literally go right through the secondary tracks or just near or underneath the secondary tracks?
@@AverageBum I fixed without deleting secondary. I ran the main track roughly around my whole course and made it invisible. Then I set all secondary tracks to "cosmetic" and it works great!! Thanks for your help man, I'm forever in your debt 🙌🙌🙌
Make sure you click on the little square within the track (after you select the track.) Then you should be selecting the spline in which you can extend the track from there
Is you issue similar to SendForLife’s issue? His comments should be somewhere below your comment. Also make sure on your secondary tracks, the blue squares with the lines coming out of them link back to the primary track. There should be 2 of those blue squares one at the beginning and one at the end of the secondary track.
I would like to see if there’s a way to make a one lap race. Or a way to trick the game to do that by having multiple lap checkpoints at the end. I’m not sure if that’s already a feature, but that kind of gives me an idea if I decide to build one
At the first or second checkpoint when you create a map for Rocket Racing, there is a device at the beginning where you can set all rules for a race. On of these rules are the number of laps in a race.
so i'm facing a issue after creating a basic track with 3 checkpoint all the Start points and all when i launch the session it boots me in Editor mode inside fortnite , and i don't know how to switch to game , or drive my car . this is my first time using UEFN
If you click the 3 dots right next to the launch session button you can set it so when you do load in, the race is already started. But if you already in the Fortnite in game editor, you can just press escape, and then select start game.
@@AverageBum auto start game is already selected and ingame their is no start race option, it was suppose to show up right beside my islands in escape menu. But its not their. Is their something i missed in uefn

Really useful video, tysm for making it! But also, is there anyway to change the height of the track- as in like I have a loop in my track where the one part of the track runs over another part of the track, so is there any way to make 1 part of the loop be underneath the other?
Oh so you’re trying to place a track inside another track while making a loop so the tracks intersect. Unfortunately no, but some possible ways to do it is by making the track out of other materials rather than using the track device. Keep in mind you will still have to place the track device there so it doesn’t think the player is not on the track but you can just make the track device for that loop invisible by selecting no track.
@@AverageBum do you also know why whenever i open the track I'm making it says 'no active level sequence editor detected,' and it doesn't let me edit anything on the track
@phantomrazor69 I’m not sure if your talking about not being able to see the details of the track or not being able to go to the track selection thing, so I’ll just tell you how to fix both. If you want to see the details tab, select window at the top left, then you should be given a dropdown where you can select details 1, if not then it will be somewhere in that windows dropdown. Now to be able to see the track information, click on the track to select it, then click on the green box on the spline of the track. Hopefully this works, and let me know if you need anymore help.

Hold left alt and drag on a green point or if you want to add a green point somewhere along a track, then just right click on that line that goes between the green points and select, create new spline
I'm sorry can you give me more information, is there an error code or does it not even launch but it says it's running in the launcher? You can try reinstalling UEFN or do a file integrity check. You can look up the error code (if there is one.) Make sure your pc specs are better or the same as the recommended when looking at the Fortnite store page. You can also try restarting your pc.

The timers will be added automatically, if you want a custom timer, I don't think that's possible yet so only the default time for now

Unfortunately I had to. Because the properties of the secondary track is messed up. I’m sure there is another way I just don’t know it yet.

When i press left alt the entire track is moving and i can't curse it

I’ve seen maps with 5 laps down to 2 laps so I think it’s possible to change the amount of laps, I just haven’t looked into it much yet.

it was island setting Device was deleted by accident, i added back from fortnite folder and now its working fine
