As a Canadian that can rarely get the items Mikey buys I was so thrilled to see him at one of my favourite stores! TnT also ships for really reasonable prices within Canada 😊
you'll probably have to visit other chinese supermarkets to see how good T&T is. I live in the states and even i was drooling from just seeing the food items in Mike's video. You'll never find such superior supermarket anywhere
@@HcutiegirlYT&T are coming to the USA! Opening markets in the Seattle, WA area, the 1st to open in Bellevue this summer 2024, a 2nd is scheduled in 2025 in Lynnwood, WA. We have one nearby In the Metrotown Shopping Centre here in Burnaby👍🏻.
I literally have a Culver's across the street from me. I ate there twice many years ago when it first opened and was not impressed. Never went back. Maybe it's time to try the fish sandwich there!
Culver's Walleye is awesome! When Lent comes around, I make sure to grab a Walleye sandwich. Here I am at work @ 1 o clock in the morning watching this and so craving some yummy Asian food.
i dont know if id call culvers fast food, they make all their food fresh after you order it. usually fast food already has stuff prepared and made before you order
Holy crap that crepe with the two crunchy things in the middle looks amazing. Gives me that hungry that can’t be satisfied without the thing that caused it.
I’m stranded in southern Alabama! I’m from central Florida, and used to love to go to the huge Asian market in Orlando . Definitely don’t miss the smell, but the bakery!!! And fresh seafood. I miss it so much!
We need more selection of restaurants here in Canada 🇨🇦 can hardly find a buffet anymore. Come back to Canada Mike, the Maritimes for some spectacular seafood 🦞
I've had that cod sandwich multiple times and, yes, it is incredible. You would never, ever, ever guess it came from a fast food spot. Their burgers are good but if that sandwich is available, that's what I'm getting.
Mike, for your next visit to TNT, try the Fantuan (rice roll) too. The rice is very soft and goes well with the filling. Make sure grab one of those pre made ones from the hot bar, not the one they make to order. The difference is: premade one contains bit of all the ingredients (braised egg, Chinese donut, pickled veggies, pork floss…),the made to order ones you can only select 3 ingredients inside. I heard TNT is opening few locations in Seattle area, can’t wait to visit.
I’m from California and lived briefly in Minnesota with a Culver’s and I’d tell everyone about the fish there being amazing and they thought I was crazy for eating the fish at a burger joint, but it was so good!!! Thank you for the validation 🤣
The bakery section always sells out so early at my local T&T! And I love getting their ready to go food. However, T&T is owned by the Loblaws corporation who make record profit by price gouging Canadians :') so I prefer to shop at the independent Asian grocers 👍
Have you ever been to 99 ranch market in Plano? There's a section where you can get your Peking duck, hot foods, all kinds of amazing fruits and vegetables and their seafood department is glorious.
Mike you have been to so many countries in the world and trying out different cuisine and I have realized you have never showed us mainland china:) Are you planning any time soon to go to China and show us different cusines from different regions ?^^ I would love to get a China series!
But not all T&Ts are created equal. The one on 104 St in Surrey is the one that I usually go to as it is within walking distance from my house, it's not bad. The one in Surrey Central is better and bigger, and the new one in Langley is better than both. But from what I can see, the one that Mikey went to in Vancouver, blows them all out of the water!
Culvers in Wisconsin is so .much better. I'm sure it's still good where ever, but the closer you get to Sauk City Wisconsin where the original one is, it's just better. Flagship locations.
It's surprising to hear of something being way cheaper than American markets. But yeah I love the Asian supermarkets here. TnT, Foody world, Supermarket 2000, Pricesmart, H-Mart, and the local farm markets.
Thank you Mike for making these great videos always. Been many years of tradition of watching your videos while i/we eat, couldn't ask for a better accompaniment.
Most delicious scenes are when Mikey improvises and makes the best duo combinations like the bao with that spicy oil sauce 🤤. That definitely just needs to be a thing.
Hey, love your videos. Just wondering if you've thought of checking out the semi new asia mall in eden Prarie Minnesota. Just wondering how they stack up to someone with a more refined palate than mine.
Hey Mikey, if ever you come back to Toronto, there are a lot of ethnic supermarkets aside from Chinese that'll give you a very similar experience from the Mediterranean to Philippines...and yes, tons of Chinese supermarkets. I regular Bestco being it's the closest for me. Sometimes FoodyWorld. But the newly opened Asia Foodmart is slowly winning me over.
Great video 👍...I would go broke going through there 😂😂😂...never seen any chinese markets here that sold all those different selections of food before 👍...til we eat again...stay safe and be well 😊❤
It’s hilarious how i thought when you were filming Culver’s that there was not gonna be any Chinese supermarket in North America greater than T&Ts i have here in Toronto
Oh why, oh why... can't there be a T&T in Albany, NY. On a side note.... I'm with you.... filet o fish must be hot and freshly made! Otherwise it's only good as a paperweight.
Mike, How do you prevent the soup dumplings from sticking to the paper when you steam them? I always follow the directions, got the steamer and papers from recommended Chinese grocery, yet about 3 out of 6 stick and tear when removing from the basket. Happens when at restaurants too…
My favorite store every time I go to Canada Vancouver to visit my family that's my to go place. Ranch 99 can't compare to them. Wish they come to the USA.
As a Canadian that can rarely get the items Mikey buys I was so thrilled to see him at one of my favourite stores! TnT also ships for really reasonable prices within Canada 😊
*T&T
In an expensive city like Vancouver, the T&T deli section is a saviour. There are lots of items you can find for under $10 that will fill you up.
I watched this video from start to finish, really good stuff man. You have got to go back and try more things from here, everything looked delicious.
I live in Vancouver and probably take T&T for granted. I realized after watching this how lucky I am. Glad you enjoyed it!

@@AllenMar that's awesome!
I wonder if this is a Richmond location cause I saw stuff that my local one didn't have last time I went 3 weeks ago
I live in southern Ohio and have no cool places like this. You are very lucky
I stayed in Vancouver 2 months for work and I was at T&T and Price Mart weekly 😂. I miss those days
culver's does make everything fresh to order. that's why their greeting is "what can we make fresh for you today?"
I literally have a Culver's across the street from me. I ate there twice many years ago when it first opened and was not impressed. Never went back. Maybe it's time to try the fish sandwich there!
@@R.Williams I personally prefer their buffalo tender basket with onion rings.
😒 they are disgusting, and the workers always have an attitude 😒 eat at your own risk
@R.Williams thank you 😊 🙏🏾 their nasty 😐
id take a chinese supermarket over culvers any day
Culver's Walleye is awesome! When Lent comes around, I make sure to grab a Walleye sandwich.

That sandwich and market looks amazing 🤤🥰🏵️

Wow yummy ❤❤❤

It makes me happy when's he's in Canada love it ❤
As a long time Mikey Chen subscriber and a Canuck I'm surprised he just discovered T&T considering he's been to Canada numerous times 😂
Why is there a view of Sydney Harbour in this clip?
T&T is a Canadian gem. Always do my groceries there :)
Culver's is always made to order! Takes a little longer but totally worth
Dude! Pork loin sandwich at Culver’s is the bomb
WOW they need one of these mega markets in the UK and Portugal....😍😍😍
T&T is coming to the US. You should do a video of the US version, after it opens.
Do more T&T stuff :). We have one here in ottawa. No matter how many times I go I walk by most of these things and would never know how good they are.

Oh and btw, dip with your chilly oil
I love T&T.. Go as often as I can get into the city

I’m from Cali and lived briefly in Illinois and loved Culver’s. I heard they stopped serving fried chicken and that was the best!
There's a T&T in Bellevue, WA with one more set to open in 2025 in Lynwood, WA. Ranch 99 better watch out.
That was one impressive supermarket wish I had one in NY 😢
Lolz - why do you have a shot of Sydney harbour in your video at 6min 19secs???!!!

Probably wants to be careful in China ... Not a safe place to visit as a non Chinese citizen.
Isn't he persona non grata in mainland China?!
He would get sent to a re-education camp due to his religion.
Probably can't get his Visa approved.
Hi Mike so much good food. I hope you enjoy it.👍

What if I take a sot every time he says umami, will I get drunk?😂
Would highly recommend visiting Le Tub in Hollywood, FL for a delicious burger. If not for the channel, then just for yourself
We don't have T&T here in TX, but this is making me want to go back to Super H-mart and get some stuff for the freezer and pantry, now...

Lovely as usual ❤
Uh... at 6:14 that's a shot of Walsh Bay in Sydney, Australia, looking over to Blues Point. Really confusing!
And I thought i was the only person that ever ordered a filet o fish 😂
Us pescatarian are like the forgotten middle child for the fast-food industry!!!!? :((
Culver’s legit makes fresh to order. Midwest baby!
I had culvers yesterday. I guess I have to try the fish.

Have a T&T near my workplace will have to drop in one day.
During lent culvers has walleye for the fish it's 3x better than the cod and the cod is really good.
Delicious food I love this ❤❤❤

He said “Woodear”….it’s a fungus.
I didnt find the link, where the heck is the link????
T&t is pretty awesome lol they're all over Canada
Oh man!!!! Why can't this Chinese supermarket be in Orlando!!!!

I don’t really care for Culver’s burgers, so I’ll definitely try the fish sandwich next time.
What are those noodles called? There was no link to the recipe.
Awesome job Mikey with the food vlog drop a like for you

I love Culver’s

I honestly thought you were going to be in northern St. Paul, Minnesota. Tremendous Asian supermarkets there.
does anybody know which branch he went to?
Anyone know what is the brand of the frying pan he is using?
