@cyyyayif you had teenage hormonal acne like I did (I’m 21 too) and want to improve your skin texture id say start retinol, experiment with percentages and start low. If you are not acne prone and have sensitive dry skin, you may not need it yet

YES!! I moved to California and I was going nuts trying to find the right moisturizer for my skin. Growing up in NY where it's humid, actually helps the skin. So when I travel to NY, my skin actually feels better and looks healthy. That's probably just me, but I noticed a different in the color of my skin as well. But i found a moisturizer that is helping me a great deal. I was dry from top to bottom. Hair as well. Ugh. Thanks for this video!! :)

If you have sensitive skin, you should try 0.1% retinol. VI term has retinoid serum that is 0.1%. Once you can tolerate that, you can start using 0.5%, and then once your skin can tolerate that, start using 1%. It's a gradual process. I had to start off with 0.1% and my skin was always flaking. My skin became used to it, and now it doesn't flake at all. I am now using 1% retinol and my skin looks AMAZING

I would appreciate your response!

If you’re new to retinol, please start with only using it 1-2x per week and then slowly increase your usage over time. Your skin can become very dry and can also “purge,” so if you jump in with too much, too soon, you can really mess up your skin barrier. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use sunscreen during the day as retinol does increase your overall risk of sun damage, which is why you should only use it at night. Make sure you are starting with a low concentration of retinol, something like 0.25 for sensitive skin and 0.5 for non-sensitive skin types. If you do have sensitive skin or are worried about it, I suggest using the sandwich method for the first several weeks in order to help your skin adjust. All you do is “sandwich” the retinol between two layers of other products. Often, a lightweight moisturizer or even a thick essence. It slows the absorption of the retinol, and helps your skin adjust to the retinol. So when I started out, because I have very sensitive skin, I double cleansed then went in with an essence and a soothing serum, then a very thin and lightweight layer of moisturizer, followed by the retinol, and another layer of moisturizer after that. If you’re not extremely sensitive, you can skin the extra soothing products or use them and skip the first layer of moisturizer. You should experiment with the layers and figure out what works for you. Don’t freak out if your skin purges as things will get worse before they get better! Also, don’t use retinol on really wet skin, and the hydration will help the retinol penetrate deeper into the skin layers and can be irritating when you first start out. Good luck babes! 💕

thanks for sharing your secret Korean skincare tips for achieving real Glass skin this is truly a gem, and it takes me back to the transformative teachings of my life coach, Lisa Haisha, during a soul-enriching retreat in the Philippines. She often emphasized the connection between self-care rituals and the radiance that stems from within. Your dedication to skincare echoes the principles she shares in 'The Soul Blazing.' Both you and Lisa inspire me to nurture not only my skin but also my inner self, creating a radiant glow that goes beyond the surface.

I checked up your videos from 3 years ago and your skin was already very good. If you are Korean, chances are you already are very fair (like the Korean friends I have). Retinol is not necessary magic (I have used it before and at 48 I have amazing skin, not because of retinol but other products and religious skin routine). Real glass skin, just slap on some good moisturiser or serum and it will appear like you have glass skin since your skin foundation is already good.

Whatever you do, you're better off buying k/j beauty things off iherb rather than Stylevana in terms of delivery times and customer service which is horrendous with Stylevana - in my experience at least.

Ok I tried retinal... 😒and when using it it is good, but it has a drying effect... meaning after three months... i started seeing more lines around my eyes then ever.. I bought three high quality retinol moisturizers... and used every night. And I looked it up... it can show line more.. Augh! I will only use hydraulic acid. Retinal is going in the trash.

Retinol/Retinal are very harsh products. You have to use it minimally. Everyday is not a good idea for your skin.

1:37 FYI those aren’t wrinkles that’s dehydration if you hydrate your skin properly those will go away instantly even some of my larger wrinkles that show up if I moisturize my skin properly they actually start to subside a bit a lot of it is just lack of moisture A.k.a. trans epidermal water loss!!
