And I remember being 14 and recording these final two songs from the TV onto my cassette recorder lol. I remember at 5 yrs old in the early 90s I was dancing to this and copying all their dance moves in the living room as if I'm Sandie, Frenchy, Keniki, the T-Birds and Pink Ladies . I thank my dearest Papa for recording this in VHS so I can replay it over and over again! Love all the songs, love Olivia RIP and John and all the cast, the choreography, everything! Best high school musical of all time for me! 🥰🤩💯🫶

When this movie came it - it took over the entire SUMMER ! Disco & Grease . I saw this when it was new and 1978 was always "Grease Year". Also Donna Summer was HUGE as was ABBA.

Loved every minute of this movie. John and Oliva were fantastic, and it is one of the all-time greatest films. I've probably seen it 50 times over the years, and I imagine I'll watch it another 50 times before I'm gone. Never get tired of it! ❤❤❤❤❤
I was in my early thirties when I saw this film, but I remembered the joy my classmates and me felt when we graduated from High School. It was a feeling of success, of having acomplished something worthwhile, and although much more study lay ahead for me, I did not think about it then. The film was a masterpiece really, so well acted, directed and with so many nice and good songs, and a nice finish.
I was 15 when this scene was filmed at my high school John Marshall High in Los Feliz (10th grade). They let us leave school early that day so they could film the scene on our football field. I watched them film this scene from the fence it was so cool to see this history in the making. They had big speakers out there playing the music you hear. I remember them doing quite a few scenes. This movie will always have a special place in my heart only the original. RIP Olivia Newton-John

I heard this song as we were on our way to my relative’s service, last year. Once I heard it, I knew she was with us. I first heard it in ‘78. I was visiting for the summer, she and her friends were preparing for a car wash fundraiser. They barely noticed me, but I remember loving the vinyl records they were playing. Every time I hear music from the Grease soundtrack, it reminds me of her.
