Relatively new to the game especially tank wise usually stamblade dd, whats the overrall best tank? I see alot of crazy good dk tanks just wondering wether its worth swapping my nord warden to healer or tank cheers, I’m only at cp 484
The best tank is the one you know. All classes can tank well in the right hands. My main is a nightblade tank and I can play it better than any other class, because I know it inside out and don't have to think about what skill to press when or which buffs are up etc.
@@xbeast1997xi went with dk tank running nazarey, pa and yolna have an off tank necro aswell tried warden tank and i struggled massively with mag sustain so turned it into double ice staff pvp cyro zerg build
aint watched the whole vid yet so i appologise if this is covered later, u mentioned there not being a decent weapon option for frost staff for the front bar have u not considered the masters destructive impact frost staff? it gives a 600 weapon and spell buff for 4s, i use it on my 1b pvp frost tank/dps but iv considered making a seperate 2b build still using it on fb
Hey so I'm new to the game and new to tanking I'm cp 504 and I have a question. So my build is plague doc and powerful Assault and yes I'm aware of the community feel but I'm using oakensoul simply because I want to simplify the game for myself and that's all but I do unequip it every now and then to practice with a standard build, but back to my question would i be able to use this in easier normal trials and also vet dungeons? I'm using ice staff with the destro taunt, echoing vigor, beckoning armour, hungry scythe, necrotic potency and then pestilent collosus.
Hello, Now firstly if you really insist on using something like Plague Doctor then the best thing you can do is at make it a bit more friendly to group content - try using Ebon instead, this is like the "group version" of Plague Doctor and although it's not a great set (neither are great) it's at least a group beneficial set giving you similar benefits. I think Oakensoul is a great accessibility tool, by using PA you've made your one skill bar crowded. You can do normal trials and the base game Vet Dungeons easily with the basic tools of pulling/debuffing that you can get with 1-bar. In your situation I would use: 1 Frost Clench (Taunt, Minor Maim, Major Maim, Minor Brittle, Chilled Effect) 2 Razor Caltrops (Procs PA, Minor Breach, Snare) 3 Elemental Blockade (Procs your weapon Enchant, Minor Breach when combined with Frost Clench, Damage Shield) 4 Beckoning Armor (Pull enemies, gives nothing else because you're using Oakensoul) 5 Flex slot - it's tricky, because Hungry Scythe for healing is really good, Necrotic Potency is free, it heals and gives Ulti and Spirit Guardian would give you a lot of passives, regen, healing and absorb Damage.
@@TheTankClub Awesome thank you so much for the reply I will definitely do that and tinker with the flex spot and could I use silver leash over frost clench because the frost clench debufs are only for 2 seconds anyway , also I'd just like to add that the only reason I'm using plague is imply cause I can't get my health that high if you have any tips on that it'd be appreciated and also are you saying I shouldn't use PA? Because I'm am busy tryna get drakes rush cause if I take tjis into trials I plan to be off tank. Thanks a bunch
@@beautifulcereal6605 he gave the reasons why to use frost clench but he missed the root cc part that doesnt work on boss mobs but does on everything else, its a magic skill whereas silver leash is a stamina skill which u should be keeping for dodge roll and break free after u have used ur caltrops, also silver leash is only a soft taunt whereas frost clench is a hard taunt, he didnt say dont use PA he just said its making ur 1b crowded it was PB he was trying to steer u away from, there are so many great tools in a necros kitbag that i wouldnt want to limit mine to being a 1b tank it would feel like cutting off an arm and leg to me as i feel limited just having 2b with the amount of stuff necros have to play with lol

Nothing wrong with chilling while PLAYING a GAME ..XD If you wanna be mega practice and see what the groups you run with want. If you wanna have fun and still help people clear content then keep enemy aggro and stay alive and do a little buffing and/or debuffing. Also you will naturally get good as you practice. I made and easy build and love using it. Never had a single complaint about it's performance either
It's outdated and will be even more so next month when Scribing is introduced. If you mostly do Dungeon content my other build will keep you going in the meantime and also covers the Warden in detail: th-cam.com/video/OP26ZRG_tv4/w-d-xo.html
feels wrong not putting points in health.
I mean you could do that if you wanted to use cheaper Enchants, put the points into Health and use Magicka/Stamina enchants to cut some costs.

Nord warden with ice staff are a pretty mean tank option
