I know, maybe it is too much private info but: My Grandmom was like Evelyn in your thumbnail picture. She was a farmer girl back than in eastern prussia and was born 1925. She taught me anything about farm live back then. And i loved her storys so much. One reason why i play stardew is to become one with my ancestors roots. She would have become 100 next year. 7 days ago she died. I am grateful, because she suffered the last days she had. May She Rest in Peace.😢❤
@@laurieb3703 indeed she had. It was a very wonderful life. She had lived through three generations. I will keep anything good as a treasure. I am grateful for the stand by :)
The only thing that I'd want to add would be having mead be affected by the honey. As it is, turning Fairy Rose honey into mead will actually lose you a huge amount of money. I would love to be able to create Fairy Rose Mead that sells for more than regular mead.
Are you using the tillable spots on the west end of the map? Because I managed to get 405 bee houses of fairy rose honey before the pots. With pots, I bet I could double that AND still grow ancient fruit or starfruit for kegs.
@@Craxin01 I am. I use ezlilly's bee house layout because it looks really nice, but you need a pretty large diamond pattern to do 44 bee houses, and there's not many spots to do that. 3 I found.
My Ginger Island farm has 405 bee houses all producing fairy rose honey, and that's without being able to have garden pots. If I can add garden pots to that mix, I could easily double that and without touching the growable farmland! I was making 385,560 every four days. Double that and that's damned near three quarters of a million every 4 days! In just over two months, that'd be enough to buy the golden clock!
Oh my gosh! I missed this in the patch notes - this is a game changer. I would love to see a quality of life video as I am sure there are things I missed (like the garden pot/honey!)
While I agree this is an upgrade, I am not sure it is as much of a game changer as you say. My previous 1.5 ginger island farms only had 5 fair roses planted with 125+ bee houses. There are ways to surround the fairy roses and still get a ton of fairy rose honey without having to plant so many of them.
One flower can support at most 44 flowers if you plan the layout right. I don’t know why sharky keeps having way more flowers than needed, maybe it’s for the looks 😂
Garden pots do work in town? I’ve got tea sapling garden pots in town working fine, and strawberry’s with deluxe retaining soil (in the sewers cause seasons)
Tea saplings can grow in garden pots that are outdoors and off your farm, but crops grown from seeds* will not. The ones in the sewers work because they are considered indoors. *Can't remember if fiber seeds are another exception.
I dont quite understand why the pot is so much better than planting in the soil? You can use deluxe retaining soil on the ground too cant you? 🤔 Edit: ok, i think because you can place pots and beehouses on untillable soil!
I love this game . But it cannot run anymore in my potato laptop smoothly 😭 I am playing on mobile but there is no multiplayer. When will there be a multiplayer version in mobile ?
wish there be an update for the bat/fruit cave, It useless in the late game because of the mushroom log, It's not even that big to be a wine storage, I want to upgrade it to be bigger to be used for something
Hope you will be playing The Last Craftsman, at least a review. It really is a very good game. I have played 30 faultless and fun hours, so far. The game has so much packed in, with the best crop planting ever and a very nice fishing mini game. Add in a unique collectable tag system and some well thought out card battling. All adds up to a super game. It really needs some exposure as a game like this should not go overlooked. Have always enjoyed and learnt much from your Stardew vids. Also been following your coverage of Chef RPG. So who better to review this game. I just know you will like it. Just to say I have no connection with the developer. Except as a gamer who can see a great game when I play it.
❤🧓🏼☕🫖 hello sharky will I still be able to use the pots I created from the recipe that Evelyn gave me to use indoors, so I can still have my indoor summer setup and my fall setup and tea tree bush setup? Same
So this means my Ginger Island Fairy Rose Honey farm can expand past where I can only plant them ... When the update finally hits consoles, that is.

One Fairy Rose can actually support up to 60 bee houses when planted in an 11x11 diamond pattern with the flower in the middle.
Dont forget you can put more bee houses in the slime area and bird port immediately north of the ginger island farm
You should be able to put tea saplings in garden pots off of the farm! Not good for honey but they look nice.

What's happened to Walter,?
When you make a new layout with garden pots for the ginger island farm, PLEASE share it. I can’t find one anywhere!
this works for me on switch pre 1.6........?
Does special honey make special mead?
No
No, it does not. And that slightly annoys me.
No, not yet. I think there's a mod for it
Hey sharky what texture mod are you using it looks awesome :O
i think he does not answer that sadly but i think its "vanilla tweaks"
Thank you! Would’ve never thought of doing this!

Who is a player that doesn’t have a signature shoe that you feel should?
I love the vanilla friendly mod collection you have. Everything is so nice looking. Do you have a mod list somewhere?
I'm definitely using this idea for my own playthrough. Plan as many Best Crops as I can on ginger Island and make bank lol
Your farm is so beautiful :'0 Amazing mods and layout :3
Thanks for the vid! I'm curious bout which mod you are using to make the grass and honey look like that. I love it!

does anyone know when the update comes to console?
Sometime this month or next (at least before the summer is over)
Did you know it? Or you hope it? 😅
No one knows. Concerned ape posted on twitter two days ago and said he’s working on it. He gave no timeline, sadly.

Great suggestion for garden pots and bee houses! ❤
thank you so much, I missed that
Thanks for the inspirational guess what i am doing tonight 😂
Still no Walter today😢
this is a game changer!!!
I’m sooooo behind in this game 😅
bro chill, u dont need garden pots and bee houses in every corner of the map lol, you have enough money as it is
XD it's for science

Never heard of accents?
@@laurieb3703 I've heard of the English language
This might surprise you but English is actually spoken all around the world! Even in the USA there’s different accents! Hope this helps :)

Imagine using the tillable soil on the west end of the map AND add garden pots on top of it.
I was only showcasing the garden pot feature 😂 relax!
