It's not really that broken. In fact, that's intended. The new stuff to fishing lets you get that much from a day of fishing for Lava Eels or Legend IIs. 4 iridium quality smoked Legend IIs is 168k. Tldr: This update is to diversify the endgame from just being thousands of starfruit and ancient fruit wine, so other professions now have options to earn tons of money in the late game.

Not really, yes it’s for variation, but it’s not broken. First: the other ways are much more profitable. Second: you get it really really late and the other mastery system things are too op. With the other things everything is improved, ancient fruits? Iridium Scythe. Fishing? A rod that’s op and bait that’s made for improving everything also another bait that can triple your income if you are good enough. And much much more
@@xxleoproxx7495Farm+fish should be quite strong. You can get a blessing that halves fish difficulty for 3 catches, and it only counts minigames for those catches. So you can get 9 iridium legend IIs off the bat via challenge bait+quality&other bobber.
According to the Wiki, about the Frog Egg: The egg can be reforged using an Anvil to change the color of the frog. Available colors include green, blue-green, brown, red, yellow, blue, prismatic, and void, with prismatic and void variant being significantly rarer than the others.
well, of course, if you get free inventory space/replacement, and in coop mode, it is also harder, in any case,, I just consider it inconvenience, as whole, I guess, it is still best trinket for combat assist
pretty stupid how it can still hit and stunlock enemies in their immune state, like spiders mid-jump and lava frogs submerged, making them unkillable until the ice rod targets something else. Other than that, really great crowd control trinket to help clear enemies more safely and faster, especially flying ones.
The quiver actually carries all the modifiers of your weapon (I also got a "rapid" version of the quiver, which fires over every 0.68 seconds for around half the damage); "crusader" will double the damage and permanently kills mummies when they die by the arrows, napalm ring will also cause them to explode on death, savage ring will give a speed boost, and seems they can also crit. Since their damage is fixed and independent of the weapon, one can use something like the iridium needle with aquamarines + desperado. I have not tested which weapon's modifiers it will use if multiple are in the inventory--sounds like something we can explore....
I watched another video about the frogs and there are several different colors available. There is a yellow frog and a blue green frog that are normal colors. There is also a void frog and a prismatic frog that are rare. Those are the ones that I remember.
was going to say that in the "sneak peek" CA put out a while ago showed a Void frog. (i'll be honest, that kind of got me intrigued... love my Void babies. to that end, am seriously irked about the nerfing of my beloved Void chooks. their eggs are poisonous now! i mean like WTF mate?!?)
I think people underrate the basilisk paw. It's basically +10 immunity. You can swap out mermaid boots for those dragon ones. It's an overall +2 to defence and immunity, but that goes a long way. I also think the frog is overrated. It's an insta-kill, but you don't get drops and it has a long cool down. According to the wiki, quivers can come in heavy and rapid variants. Where rapid fires arrows faster (about 0.6-0.7s), but damage is only about 10-15. Meanwhile heavy is slow (about 1.6s), but hits for like 35-40 damage. Perfect being the best balance between fire rate and damage (0.9s for 30-35 damage).
The Frog must be a cousin of Yoshi. Oh, one thing to note about the Frog is that you will not get items from the enemies being swallowed by the Frog. Concerned Ape has finally given us Familiars in the game. This is really exciting.
I just started a new save for 1.6. It'll take a while, but it's great to know about all the trinkets available after Combat Mastery. Thanks a bunch Sharky!
Ice Rod is great, I have a perfect Ice Rod that shoots every 3 seconds and keeps enemies frozen for 4 seconds. Keeping them frozen forever while I can walk up and smack them with my Infinity Hammer

It can also random drop different levels of the fairy and parrot. I've gotten up to level 5 for them both, so you can get a better fairy with better and faster healing, its really good
Two secrets you should check out, march ( spring lol )17th at the waterfalls by the hat seller in the cindersap forest, and next is throwing an ancient doll into the lava on floor 100 of the mines

While waiting I decided to finally complete my 100%, I was struggling with the 10 million gold for a super long time but yesterday I finally did it and got my 100% so while I'm waiting for this update I'm waiting for my first golden egg to hatch. I’m trying to be patient for the update to switch, I’m keeping myself busy trying to get perfection as well. It’s such a slow grind getting that darn golden clock! So congrats on that! I’m hoping I’ll be able to finish it before the update comes. 😅
The hair gel is bought at the desert festival from Alex, I think. I was able to get a Perfect Ice Rod from a drop, its stats are already maxed. Pretty cool
Would mention, quiver benefits from held item, so weapons enchantments apply on it, so bug killer makes it be able to harm armor bugs, as far I noticed, it even has increased damage to bugs then, I then assume crushader enchant gets its benefits too, no idea if gem bonuses or any other weapon stats apply, pickaxe makes arrow break crab disguse rocks, axe held made arrows hit tree that blocked path to enemy, but I dont think it damaged it, since it havent fall nor took less hits to chop I dont like frogs as they dont drop loot and dont count to mob kills, at same time they dont eat enemies fast enough to skip combat when you go only to mine stuff
So late in the game 1000 gold isn’t that much, why are you selling them? What if, in the next update, there are more possibilities and you are just selling them?
I’ve found the Basilisk Paw and the Parrot Egg so far! Love having a lil parrot following me around finding me coins! I’m excited to try the Basilisk Paw in the dangerous mines though
The knockback on the *Magic Quiver* has screwed me over more times than it has helped. Also, its shot delay is inconsistent enough, that it sometimes let's enemies get to me without getting hit. It's not just useless against flying enemies, but it is an active hindrance. Especially against multiple targets.
In the regular mines I love the parrot. Getting gold for just killing regular mobs? Hell yes. In the skull caverns I like the ice rod or the quiver. Help with multiple/fast enemies is always welcome. Alex's fancy hair gel is just funny for everyday walking around. The basilisk paw is great for the Dangerous Mines when you're dealing with the nausea ghosts. I'm in SVE, so haven't tried the badlands yet. Quiver was perfect for Lance's Highlands. Oh and the quiver was great in the Ginger Island volcano. I'm curious about the frogs-- if their colors will show in the aquarium. That's an amazing addition, that you can put them in the aquariums! Can't wait to try that!
Update: After playing with the trinkets for a while and getting used to the Magic Quiver, it is BY FAR my favorite. The knockback it gives the squid in the dangerous mines is so clutch. Old List 1. All trinkets are late game items; you need max level on all skills and extra xp for mastery. At that point, you would be swimming in money so... is the parrot really that useful?
The parrot would be so much more beneficial if you could get trinkets before skillmaster is unlocked. And because you unlock trinkets so late, I feel like it really should give you more than $250 gold

Oh wait.. That is exactly what you need to do in order to even use the Parrot Trinket.. Not to mention getting it as a random drop on top of all that.. It would be amazing if it was auto-unlocked at the start of every playthrough, but no, you need to master all -four elements- all 5 skills, then fill a mastery EXP bar, then you get to play with trinkets.. Ice rod may be my favorite.. I am waiting on Xbox release, despite the fact I also own it on PC..

There are many things you should have said: The frog isn’t that good because: it doesn’t count towards Monster eradication. It doesn’t give you loot/drops. Can’t be made better, only change colors. It takes too long to eat another monster so it’s not that useful. Oh and yes, there are more colors. Parrot: it’s not enough money. Someone tried it out: one whole day in the mines just with a level 5 parrot was like 100k money for killing monsters. But with fishing you could get in half the time double as much. With other ways you could earn much much better than both of them too. Also it comes TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO late, a few 100 gold isn’t really much, also you don’t get them for every enemy. With the golden spurr you can be extremely fast with all the buffs… triple shot espresso, spicy eel, golden spur, the ring that makes you faster, the proficiencies that boost crits and so on, both books that make you faster and I think there have even been more. The ones with level can get up to level 5
Let’s just say the game hates and does not want me to het tinkets max luck day with lucky food and what do I have to show for it..? 2 rods and 1 frog 🔥

There are many things you should have said:
The frog isn’t that good because: it doesn’t count towards Monster eradication. It doesn’t give you loot/drops. Can’t be made better, only change colors. It takes too long to eat another monster so it’s not that useful.
Oh and yes, there are more colors.
Parrot: it’s not enough money. Someone tried it out: one whole day in the mines just with a level 5 parrot was like 100k money for killing monsters. But with fishing you could get in half the time double as much. With other ways you could earn much much better than both of them too. Also it comes TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO late, a few 100 gold isn’t really much, also you don’t get them for every enemy.
With the golden spurr you can be extremely fast with all the buffs… triple shot espresso, spicy eel, golden spur, the ring that makes you faster, the proficiencies that boost crits and so on, both books that make you faster and I think there have even been more.
The ones with level can get up to level 5
