Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Rayt ?, n 1 outher, SRV brother would start it an hand off left to right Buddy was 2nd, Bonnie used a slide on her finger on neck , it was cool.Thats a gift, we all have one.

At the time of this performance, I think Buddy was the only artist who could seriously give SRV a run for his money. I saw him live twice at about this time (early 90s), and honestly, he was easily the best blues performer I've ever seen. SRV has been my GOAT for blues guitar for a long time, inspired me to get serious about learning to play, my style still based heavily on his music, but If I'd been faced with a choice of either seeing SRV live OR Buddy, man I'd be torn. Buddy is a man I could never hope to imitate - there will only ever be one Buddy Guy!
@@Devon_Rismay Gary Moore was definitely in the top tier of guitarists, but I mean in the way of an all-round live performer. Buddy always involved his audience, was a real showman. I can't remember if I already told you about this, but one of Buddy's gigs that I saw was at a large theatre on London's South Bank. Everyone seated in orderly rows, me and a couple of mates were sat at the front of one block with a walkway between us and the the block in front of us. Buddy did his usual walkabout through the audience, and he happened to come along in front of our row. As he reached us, I said something about "I want to steal some licks!" He stopped right in front of me and played like a devil for about a full minute! There's a video out there of him doing a walkabout where he goes outside the theatre and plays to a crowd in the street before returning to the stage to finish the gig 'normally'. Like I said, only one Buddy Guy!
