Great review! We just finished mystery of history vol 3 ( Renaissance) and had such a great year w it. We didnt do many activities after the first couple weeks either. I am SO surprised how much info our family retained this year w history! And Linda does such an amazing job weaving the gospel through out history. Loved it! I was a little concerned that vol 4 was going to be a bit of a broad stroke too, so we opted to use Beautiful Feet American History next year w the intention of returning to mystery of hystery for ancient history. Im looking forward to seeing that review from u next year! 😊
That’s too funny our families schooling is so similar. But it definitely shows that it works well. I’m very much looking forward to using the next year but from Vol 1. It’s going to be neat seeing the Bible stories truly woven with history and I am really looking forward to it.
I researched the absolute dickens out of curricula before settling on using both MoH AND SotW for the first time this year, starting with Volume 2 of each. Once we're done, we are backtracking to Volume 1 of each before getting to 3&4. Also, we're doing American history (and geography!) separately. Nice to hear your thoughts on this!
I just found your channel yesterday when looking for Charlotte Mason geography suggestions and loved the video I watched! This video popped up on my suggested videos today and I was so excited to hear your opinion on MOH because I've decided to use MOH volume 1 for this coming year. Perfect timing!! My plan is to use Beautiful Feet early American history over two years and then modern American history for two years, alongside the MOH volumes. So we will have a constant stream of American (because I really enjoy it) along with MOH world history! Thanks for your review! I just subscribed!

I was wondering, if after your kids have completed the high school curriculum will they go to college get a job or something else? I’m curious as to how it relates to homeschooling at the moment.
Oh I did a whole video on this last year in my Godschooling series. We aren’t quite sure, but we do know the traditional colleges and universities are not our first choice when it comes to most professions.
