I did this a while ago. I used a crowfoot wrench for the upper left bold (under the thermostat housing) - without taking off the thermostat housing. It was also a pain to turn the inlet manifold around to fit the banjo bolt, but I did not have to take off the servo pump. For me it was more a challenge to find out how to turn the hose for the banjo bolt and the manifold. Great tip to avoid changing the complete hose. I did that and it was a pain to change...
Would you know why my Volvo 2003 v70 is now using oil. There is no leak of oil. lt seems to be clean burning, no blue smoke from the aft. l religiously change oil. But now this is the 2nd time in a row with low oil after 4k of driving. ls the engine just getting tired and just burning oil. Piston rings getting oil?
For P2 Volvo,s it's normal for them to use oil my 2002 Volvo V70 2.4 Non Turbo uses about 1 Litre every 1,000 Miles I check my oil every 2 Weeks or 500 Miles or after a Long run I regularly check I'm Pretty sure the Green Volvo V70 2.5 Turbo Uses oil But that would burn faster as it's going through a hot turbo But As far as I know all P2 Volvos use oil I hope this helps and take care
@@JoeSibCars Yes, l did speak another guy in the local area where l live, and he also mentioned that he uses 1L every 2000km or so. Thx for your response.
These are good videos because this too is one of the typical error spots in these cars. And this can be applied to all 2.3t 2.4t and 2.5t engines.
Extremely useful video, shows step-by-step replacement.
