I just got a used Ultra red 2023 MYLR with 7500 miles two days ago. My first BEV. So far, I’m happy with my decision. It’s plenty fast. And the tech learning will keep my 68 year old brain firing for awhile.
Thanks Steve, they ate fantastic cars. We've had our MYLR with AB for just over a year now. We did a 2500 euro road trip last year and it was faultless. We have our second booked for this year. Currently pottering around North Wales for half term and getting fantastic efficiency. 228 miles kWh over 331 mile using a full 75kW battery. Not bad at all.
Currently trying to decide between a used M3P or LR. Test drove the P today and trying to talk myself out of it as I don't need it, definitely more of a 'want' ha. It was the exact same colour scheme as your MYP, red with white interior!
Very good call on Tesla options. As someone who comes from a sport suspension in a BMW X5 I would never go for the even harder ride that Tesla has in the Performance.
I'm torn between the MYLR and the MYP, but after watching your video, pretty much like yourself, like a good car knowing the performance is there and it looks mean a F! Test drove both this past weekend and the MYP just feels more like a M3 somehow (just higher up). Couldn't quite explain it, but maybe it's just all in my head! Range is one thing, but like you, I'll stop and charge if I need too, adding a couple of extra mins to a journey is not that big of a deal on road trips. Loving the white on red ... I'm tempted by the new silver with the white seats .... Brilliant video though, thanks for sharing!
FOR 1,000 OFF YOUR NEW TESLA (Whilst the offer is on).

Tough choice!

I literally feel like you described me when I was making the decision between performance and long range…. Like you I opted for the performance😂
😂
Great video, Steve! Nice to see the finished upload after getting a behind the scenes view! Good to meet you mate.
Thanks Sean, you too!
Really interesting video, Steve. Your car info is always useful. Never fails to impress. Thanks! 👍🤗
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your kind words.
I checked out my insurance in June 2024 the difference between the long range & the performance was only £75 although it was expensive
Great video 👍🏼
Great Advice ! Thanks !
Thanks Steve used your code
Ahh wonderful, Thanks. and have fun with the car!
Best video yet
Thanks!
Why do you sound like mr Gilbert from the inbetweeners 😂
3 trade in’s in 5 years time? If I did that here, my gf would have some serious words with me about my priorities lol.
haha, yes! Not very sensible (but good fun)
Did you test drive the new Model 3 Highland before making this video?
Haven’t tested yet!
@@SteveJulien In my opinion, it is not worth buying a Tesla MY before the facelift comes.

@SteveJulian … forgot to ask, on your MYP what’s the range at 80% charge?
@Funkmaster007 This time of year, I’m getting 300 (mixed driving) on 100% so about 240 (ish) at 80%
No to both Q
