  • Stiff magnetic paddle shifter for sim racing DIY steering wheel projects that accepts all paddles with 10mm spacing.
Paddles are very solid, not so much flex, have pretty good feel. Also magnets are strong, if you wish you san go with less 1mm magnets. I printed them in PLA, pretty satisfying, would imagine with higher infill and harder plastic it will be even better.

Thanks! My camera has sensitive microphone, it is not that loud. It is somewhere between my Fanatec magnetic paddle shifters and the WRC Fanatec Wheel mod I made earlier last year. Now I am using larger carbon skinned paddles, with them is a little quieter. After half year of use construction is still holding...

Hi! How did you build/get the button plate itself? I really like the design.

Thanks mate! I designed it freehand with pencil and directly cut it with hand tools so do not have anything. This being said it grows on me and am considering to make it in 3D as I have new wheel and need plate for it too.

@@simontavirp6150 Hi mate, I digitised the plate, fixed some things I did not like. It is still work in progress, but backplate itself is finished. You can get it here: www.diy-sim.com/sim-projects/wheels/item/rally-gt-universal-button-plate

Are all the buttons and encoder running through the srm emulator?

Yep, they connect directly on hub. You have 9 buttons, 2 shifters and a funky switch (only directions and button, rotation does not work).
