    Great video. would like to see the rest of the series if you're building a full wheel

      Hey thanks! Yes, I am working on a video for a custom wheel at the moment. I am hoping to get this online in the coming weeks.

    Hi, great design!!! Do know if it fits inside the Thrustmaster F1 Wheel?

    I like the look of those switches. Are those DC2C switches? I don't see it in your BOM?

    "perfect clearance" I can see the ball bearing wiggling around in the hole, like it's a pivot connection. What is a ball bearing good for when the fit so bad that the bearings can't actually do what they're designed to do?

    what control board needs to be used so you can plug these in via usb and do you have the f3d files present? thank you! great video

      Hey! For the wheel controls (buttons, encoders, shifters) I use an Arduino Pro Micro. I am working on a video that shows the full process to build a complete custom wheel.

    Are you currently working on a custom PCB tutorial for a steering wheel? Maybe Arduino based or maybe completely scratch build? Regardless, I’m looking forward to your upcoming videos & projects, keep up the great work my friend

      Thanks! Glad you like this one. I am currently working on a full build including: design, custom parts, electronics (Arduino Pro Micro) and programming.

    Any idea about how it's called the shaft with that hole to put the circlip?
    I only find regular shafts.

    • @fredmakes2556
      @fredmakes2556  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about the exact naming, but you can find them online using those keywords: "Shaft" or "Pin" with "Snap Ring Grooves" or "Retaining Ring Grooves" or "Circlip Slots". Hope this helps!

    Just one suggestion, don't slam the magnets directly on it will chip, and later that will get rust.
