Although the original dub is obviously inferior to modern standards, these people really were pioneers for the West's introduction to mainstream anime. It's fun to look back now on the old dub and laugh at all of the localization changes, edits, cheesiness, and 90s slang. Still, if you do laugh, laugh lovingly.
Linda, please stop shading your other cast mates by recounting how you always ask if anyone will show up to these events. Of course the fans will show up. This show is legendary and iconic and NOT because of you. You always try and take credit for Terri’s legacy. Terri always mentions you, even though she was the definitive voice of the character yet you never mention her. In fact, you never bring Terri Hawkes up yourself unless someone else does first. You were the third voice and the one that most people don’t know. It’s fine that you receive the love of the fans, but don’t try and make it seem like Terri’s legacy is yours. It’s hers.
Cloud Nine Exactly!! Linda hasn’t found a balance between enjoying the work she did with the character and giving credit to Terri for being the definitive voice. Linda needs a LOT more humility and confidence at the same time. It’s a tight rope balance, I guess, but better to error on the side of humility. Humility, not false humility, is what makes people like you. Humility is not thinking less about yourself.. it’s about thinking about yourself less.

Thought to go along with 17mins in... we finally found the Sailor Moon friends we were searching for, within OURSELVES. Meaning, if I could say one thing to add, its that their personalities they put in these characters with their voices became parts of who we are inside.
Some stuff in the DiC was intended to be cheesy it’s amazing really it’s really retro and nice and it a good laugh as well as serious things like death and the first season being edited was 11+ helped but it kind of needed a bit more rating as when as season two and three and four came round it went back to the original rating of 14+
She has moved on in her life. And had better things to do with her life. I know that sounds harsh. But the actors are people and have to right to say no. To every con if they want.
