hell yesh I used to play it a lot of times coz I was such a huge fan of sims but my pc wasnt strong enuff so I relied on my console instead T_T and it made my childhood really enjoyable
When I was nine my sister and I used all our allowance to buy a Playstation 2 with this game. Those were some of the best memories of my childhood, even though I didn't accomplish much in the game.
This is the game me and my sister bonded over. Despite being 4 years apart and fighting a lot as kids, this is what made us have fun together. Such great times💙

Ah, I'm fourteen now and just brought sims3pets because I'm waiting for the sims 4 to add pets. I noticed the fact the sims3pets theme is the remix of this and just had to find this.
I remember the day my parents let me buy this game! It was rated T for teens, yet because I loved animals they let me get it. I think it was around my birthday in 2008 or so, we went to eat at either McAlister's or Mazzio's and there's a game stop in the same strip mall. When we would get done eating my parents would let my brother and I go look at the games, write down what we wanted, and maybe we would get them for Christmas, our birthday, or some random event. We had a play station 2 and it was the first game I ever wanted to play, that and the tony hawk skate boarding game that my brother had. I loved building houses and I also loved animals, it was the perfect game. I also had animal crossing on the gamecube too. So many wonderful days spent turning on either of those systems and playing for hours.
On the GameCube version, you only got this one expansion if you wanted Pets, as well as one crappy little town with literally only pet necessities in it. And now I want to play The Sims 2 Pets again. Even though I sucked at it when I was young because I thought you could play 100% in the third person mode... Also, there were perks to not being able to control your pets but one of the disadvantages were the dogs and cats hated each other and if you wanted mating you had to wait for weeks or get lucky for them to naturally befriend.
