These rides in the mountains of Thailand are significantly more difficult than anything in Los Angeles and also are more challenging than the climbs in the Pyrenees of France.
I would love to come visit and ride here. My worry is that it seems from November till March is the best time for the weather however I believe it’s also the burn season. How do you deal with this?
Burning season doesn't get bad until February though you may see it starting up in the middle of January. November and December should be lovely. October could be nice as well though you may have to be ready for an occasional downpour :)

That's really impressive to ride up those type of grades with a 34/34 set up. I think I'd want a 36 on the back and I'd still be struggling!
For some climbs in Northern Thailand is good to have MTB gearing! hehe

Avoid MARCH and APRIL. Rest of the year is good. NOV, DEC, JAN are great.
