Yup, it was designed from the start with floating it in mind. The fabricators did a really good job of keeping it as close to possible to even weight distribution between front/rear. Has the stock 2.5L engine in it to minimize the front (and overall) weight.
Love it :o) I’d be wanting some flotation tanks where rocksliders would go. I’ve seen monster trucks flip and it didn’t look fun (unless you were watching)
The official size is a 1300x700-21", so 1300 mm tall, 700 mm wide (About 51" x 27") on a 21" wheel diameter. The size can also vary quite a few inches in both directions depending on pressure, being rather fat to elongated and taller due to their low pressure design (~10 psi max). I'm just going off the manufacturer's specs for the 710 L water displacement of the tire. I haven't done any torus volumetric calculations or anything : ) I'd like to seal up the wheel centres some day to give some added buoyancy as there's a lot of wasted space in there
Nice, except here in Alberta driving in the water is a violation of section of section 43 of the Public Land Administration Regulation. Keep wheels out of water!
Agreed.. we don't advocate going through natural water bodies like this. Merely showing how the tires will float the vehicle if necessary should you cross a deep water hole on the trail, not going to sink. Should note that this "pond" is actually a borrow pit, so technically not natural in the first place. A couple years ago we inquired to a fish and wildlife officer how Argos have long been advertised as amphibious, showing people fishing from them when outboards when this is technically illegal in Alberta but the officer couldn't answer us.
This is dope. Amphibious jeep.
DOPE !!!
Put a Bass boats front & back end on your jeep
It’s well balanced in the water.

Yup, I've definitely thought of using some aluminum big rig fuel tanks on the side, for that same purpose and also double as some steps 😁
@@stonetuskoffroad Big ally fuel tanks would be ace :D
Didn't know Jeep made boats! Cool!
What is your EXACT tire size? I'm trying to do the math on how to make this work for myself, but I only get 710 in³, not liters.

What kinda gas Milagros you get
Never really calculated it lol
Sweet!
