    To anyone who loves everything Kuba Cielen, I recommend listening to his podcasts with Think Big Bodybuilding!

    Kuba Cielen, John Jewett and JP the best content and knowlegde in the industry, dont need to follow anyone else than those 3. The way Kuba explains and show everything is so well explained that probally someone never entered the gym could really understand everything and go stright in the gym and do extremly well. Wish I had this content available when I started 12 years ago.

    Great content! I've been playing around with frequency and have found that now at age 51 training 1 on 1 off has been optimal for recovery and gains. My off days i do cardio and active recovery. I would add that yes failure to progress is a sign you're not recovering, but there will be other signs as well such as shitty sleep, getting sick, etc. Listen to your body.

      Every other day training is the best. I’ve been on that for years now. It’s so flexible in terms of using different splits and if I need an extra day i take it. No worries

    That fleece is dapperAF, will have to pick one up! Loving the PPL split and you’re right, 3 on 1 really requires us to priorities our recovery modalities. Solid info as always! Keep it coming! 💪

      He gets his knowledge from others, ie jordan peters, if hes that knowledgeable, why dont he win anything !

    • @marcusvogelius6714
      @marcusvogelius6714 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Well, somebody always will get their knowledge from someone, so did Jordan. What counts is if the person want to spread the knowledge and educate, or keep it to themself, and Kuba wants his followers to get educated and apply the knowledge to get better, get a better lifestyle, and overall get the best physiqe as possible.
      Instead of talking down on him, appreciate it… like it or not, he is a Pro, which is a big deal, and people can learn a lot listening to the guy.
      Stop hating.

    What are your thoughts on a U/L off P/L/P off split ? When chest shoulders and hamstrings are a focus ?

    Do you run it Push-Pull-Legs Off ? What do you think about Legs-Push-Pull-Off (to have more time between hip hinge and pull work)?

  • @high0nfire
    @high0nfire 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Good info on the RDLs. I’m probably too focused on how low the bar goes instead of focusing on full ROM on the hip hinge. Thanks Kuba!

    How many weeks/sessions of no progression for a certain lift can go by, before you need to think about, changing/decreasing the sets?

    • @superspeederbooster
      @superspeederbooster 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      try changing the rep range, low reps are better for strength

    Kuba, I’m struggling with recovery as I age, now mid 30s. However, emotionally I struggle with taking more days off. What all do you do on your rest days to help with the mental side of things?

    Question you prob heard alot if there are muscular benefit to holding to contraction part for 1 or secs or is dependent on person or depends on exercise

    • @rockyevans1584
      @rockyevans1584 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Fine for noobs who are learning to feel the mind muscle connection. Not good for building muscle, it takes energy away from the more effective portion of the lift
