One question: On the hand where you jammed preflop with JJ after the opponent had already shown a lot of strength: Isn't a big portion of his range going to be bigger pairs and/or flipping hands (AK, AQ)? If so, how is your jam profitable for you? Really curious how that works. Thanks!
I've got a tough question for you coach: The hand @ 8:53, (your AK vs J9) why did your opponent bet 150$ on the river? My answer: He wanted to pay your car insurance that month. In MY view, that bet made ZERO SENSE.
@@PokerProfit Yeah, but that bet folds-out the portion of your range he's beating, and gets called by the portion of your range that he is losing to. I guess you COULD Have 10/10, but you're not betting flop/turn with 10/10 most of the time.
i never can understand how people can say their favorite hand is anything but pocket aces. you take your favorite hand and i'll take aces and we'll flip a hundred times.
Anyone that says their favorite hand is aces is a robot. Obviously AA is the best hand, no one is disputing that. People choose their favorite hand because of memories and crazy experiences. The first hand I won playing live, I flopped a straight with J9 and that was my favorite hand for a long time. Once I had the nut flush with Q9hh on a 4 heart board, and villain stacked off by the river with 83hh for a total pot of over 500bb. Now Q9hh is my favorite hand. TLDR: don’t be autistic, pick an actual favorite hand
@@wompwomp7177 that's not my point. if you can acknowkedge that aces is the best starting hand and you're saying other than aces or kings, i like 10, 7 suited i've had great experiences with that, than i get it. but, i had a guy trying to argue that he'd take j, 10 suited over pocket aces anytime. so, i said put your money where your mouth is. you take j, 10 suited, i'll take aces and we'll go over in the corner and flip for as long as you'd like. he agreed. of course he never ended up doing it. but, anyone with a brain can not argue there are better starting hands than aces.

Idk I’m not GTO wizard but when your on the button Vs a somewhat knowledgeable player I definitely wouldn’t lean towards bluffing with a low suited ace. Calling in position and seeing a flop maybe raising his see bet pending on flop seems more profitable in long run. Your risking bluffing off in big pots for not much return Everytime with the 4 bet.

Recently moved up to 5/10. Just wondering what your best advice might be, as far as differentiating from 2/5 playstyles vs 5/10 playstyles.
Expect more raising preflop - expect more bluffing.

Effective stack was only 380 total… if stacks were deeper I would just call 150 and play post flop in position
