I haven't seen the show in a long time so I don't know how Ray reacts when he sees it, but I hope he stares at it for a second before saying to himself "it wasn't supposed to go out."
Even though this is just a show ((not real life)), the wedding planner should have doubled checked with Amy before sending the invitation to everyone. I definitely would have if I first read that rough draft of a wedding invitation. And Robert never should have listened to Raymond when it came down to “not helping” with the wedding. It was wrong and ended up biting all the guys in the end. lol. One of my favorite and funniest episodes of the show. Thanks for uploading.
I like the fact ray and Robert agreed to put Hank N Pat. It made the holier than thou McDougals look like straw chewing moon shine drinking hillbillies 😂😂😂. And it gets better when it says attire optional making it even more savage
"They're not hillbillies!" "There are going to be nude people at the church three days early?". 😂 Amy's fury, Debra's indignation, Robert's terror.......a perfect cast delivering the sitcom equivalent of Hamlet.
Marie sabotaging Robert because of some mythical "promise to retire" that Robert never made was worse. This was in all truth a complete accident, what Marie does is always deliberate.
You would think that Ray would know by now not to give Robert any more “advice” because Robert always manages to throw him under the bus when he gets caught
One of the funniest sitcoms of all time. Frank was hilarious. Every time he came in any scene, I would be laughing uncontrollably. This scene here is hilarious. One of the few sitcoms back then that was very consistent from beginning to end

Robert & Amy showing they really r soulmates by both having angry crazy-eyed staredowns at the front door of Ray's house. Robert's moment of course being from the iconic FBI episode🤣
Because teenagers are so delightful? 😏 I would raise the lower threshold to 16, because then they're trying to get a car from their parents, and the calculating desperation makes them appear almost human,
I thought “attire” was “a tire” when I first saw this. Like the guests would be naked, but they’d be wearing a tire with ropes holding it up like suspenders 😂
Not only did this show account for at least ten of the top twenty hardest laughs of my life, but it saved me from so much grief. I don’t know how many times something on this show made me stop halfway through whatever genius ‘realization’ I was having about the opposite sex and realize that I was in fact a stupid, stupid man halfway to causing himself a huge problem.
Amy: look at this! hank 'n' pat? 'n' pat? 'n' pat! they're not hillbillies, robert! "hank 'n' pat macdougall request the honor of your presents. at 1:15 LOL
This couple mirrors George Constanza and his fiancee Susan from the 90s American sitcom Seinfeld. She infamously dies in season 7 licking the toxic glue on the wedding envelopes George had purchased. Of course, Everybody's Love Raymond never goes that dark.
It wasn’t necessarily about them. Phil Rosenthal’s standing instructions to everyone who worked on the show was, “Anytime you fight with your spouse it’s your job to come to work the next day and tell me all about it.”
Lol Ray is so Dead haha. " just kill Ray for me" " Oh, honey I will"! Bahaha. Oh Ray run, dude, run while you are still breathing. Don't mess with Debra, she's pretty tough when she wants to be. So is Amy.
What's sad is if he had not listened to his dumb brother and dad, he actually would have made a excellent invitation but then this is a comedy. Of course things are going to go horribly wrong so we can die laughing.
What wedding planner, would ever knowingly send out a wedding invitation that looked like that unless they were knowingly trying to sabotage their clients wedding. There's no way she read that and went, yeah, that's what they mean to send.
There would have been a printer involved as well who should have asked some questions. Plus, I think most printers work from a template so the couple only needs to provide names, dates, addresses, etc.
I laughed uncontrollably at Amy's, "I couldn't even finish reading it because someone was screaming, and then I realised, IT WAS ME!".
Me too 😂😂 also when both Deb and Marie went ooohhh at the same time
God is that actress awful
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
I was laughing at Robert “ it wasn’t supposed to go out “
Robert’s constant “IT WASNT SUPPOSED TO GO OUTTTT!!!” is classic 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That’s going to be the Ross, ‘we were on a break.’ from Friends. lol.
I haven't seen the show in a long time so I don't know how Ray reacts when he sees it, but I hope he stares at it for a second before saying to himself "it wasn't supposed to go out."
"tHiS wAsNt SuPoSsEd tO Go oUt!!!!"
😂😂😂 that was hilarious
I love the moment that Debra and Marie realize who gave Robert advice without it even being explicitly said.
That "Ohhhhh" said it all, you knew Ray was screwed LOLOLOLOL
"There's going to be nude people at the church ON A WEDNESDAY!" That line always gets me laughing! 😂
It wasn't supposed to go out!
Marie's reaction after that was halarious
@@anthonyvasquezactor
Feel so bad for the church
😂😂😂
Which episode had Debr
“IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO GO OUT!”
Rumor has it that Robert is still repeating this in 2024 during their anniversary.
that same with Ross saying to Rachel.
“WE WERE ON A BREAK!!!”
"...and the lady who sent it out will... *suffer."*
😂😂😂😂
Or rather Ray’s the one who’s gonna suffer for this😁😁😁😁😁
“Just kill Ray for me.” “Oh, honey. I will.” 😂😂😂
And there was no objection from Marie.
Love that line! And her delivery was fantastic.
Hank ‘n Pat!
‘N Pat!
‘N Pat!
THEY’RE NOT HILLBILLIES ROBERT!!!
It’s barely perceptible, but Robert is shaking his head in response.
It wasn’t supposed to go out
Apostrophe before the N. Not after. Before. Not your fault, your teachers didn't know either.
Best scene comes after this when Debra realises Ray did something similar in their wedding. The one man band 😂
The One Man Zipper Band 😂

What’s better from being paid to send out wedding invitations, being paid to send out two lots of wedding invitations
@TheRealDeal92 He did it on purpose. Screw it up bad enough and she’ll never ask you to do anything again.
I know seriously.
Then it would not have been this hilarious. But I do agree with you.
To be fair, it’s not real
‘It wasn’t suppose to go out!’ definitely has to be this shows version of Friends ‘we were on a break!’ 😂
It really is!!!
This scene makes me think of when Rachel finds the list Chandler told Ross to make about her that accidentally printed
This is the official moment where poor Amy became a Barone! 😅
lol it was bound to happen in that family
Amy: Just kill Ray for me. Debra: Oh honey I will. TBC Rays funeral 😂
I love that line from Debra!
Notice there wasn't a peep of defense from Marie
I like the fact ray and Robert agreed to put Hank N Pat. It made the holier than thou McDougals look like straw chewing moon shine drinking hillbillies 😂😂😂. And it gets better when it says attire optional making it even more savage
Notice how Robert dimes out Ray and yet, doesn't rat out Frank, even though he was also in on the plot to ruin the invitations.
Mac DOOOOOuGAL!
"Hey, jelly cheeks!"
Hey, Dead Man Walking!
That comment was actually funny, "Hey, jelly cheeks." That's funny.
"They're not hillbillies!" "There are going to be nude people at the church three days early?". 😂 Amy's fury, Debra's indignation, Robert's terror.......a perfect cast delivering the sitcom equivalent of Hamlet.

LOL Amy's face at the beginning! She looks like she's about to breathe fire!
I don’t know which Robert scene I liked better this or Robert confronting Marie about the FBI lucky suit letter
Marie sabotaging Robert because of some mythical "promise to retire" that Robert never made was worse. This was in all truth a complete accident, what Marie does is always deliberate.
@ KAIJUKING123 I liked both . 😂
The look on Amy's face at the beginning of the scene was priceless! 😆
This show was gold. Nothing today makes me laugh like this show did.
You got that right! 😂😂😂
Amy’s face when she walks in. YEP, that’s Robert’s soulmate right there.😂 Thats the same face Robert makes when he’s pissed
Like when Marie screwed up his interview with the FBI.😅
@@Nigelsmom2136I felt so bad for Robert that time

Debra: 😠 Her looks: Don’t push it
Robert: Okay

And he always gets caught.
I remember this episode. One of the best moments from the show.
The look on Amy's face when she bursts in the door is priceless
the fact marie herself is in agreement with debra 'killing' her favorite son.
Speaks volumes on how much he screwed up here lol
"nude people at the church,on Wednesday"....any other day would be ok then????😂😂😂😂😂😂
Other than Swinger Sunday Services?
The scene when Amy s parents open the envelope is funny too. "Hank! They are nudists!" :))

1:33 was the best one lol

If the wedding was Attire Optional, Frank would've be down for that.
Brad Garret's facial expressions in this series always get me. He's as expressive as a cartoon character
No doubt about it, the scene belongs to Monica Horan. Brad Garrett gives her her props, very well, I might add. But Monica shines.
Who's Monica Doran?
@@jonathansack6827 My mistake, which I've corrected. Meant to say Monica Horan.
She played Amy perfectly the entire series!
@@Person-mh6xq Yes, she does. But here especially. 🙂

It’s the look one gives to a saboteur.
How about Hank 'n' Pat, like Shake 'n' Bake, Pork 'n' Beans? 😂

Man, and I thought it was bad when the invitation to a wedding I went to said, "Please no kids under 12" instead of "Please, no kids under 12."
Haha there's no pleasing some people anyway, regardless of age.

In Robert’s defence.
It wasn’t supposed to go out.
Robert shouts, "Oh my God!"
Then Marie, "Amy, oh my God!, what happened?"
Amy: "Robert happened!" 😂
I love that Robert made a Raymond mistake
That’s what happens when you listen to Raymond.
IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO GO OUT!
I love his voice at 1:33 😂😂😂
😂😂 sane
I love how Amy's anger reflects Robert's when Marie messed up his FBI interview. They were made for each other. Literally.
Hank ‘n Pat…they’re not hillbillies Robert😂😂😂
3:06 never thought those two would be on the same side
Very rarely were they throughout the series
Robert: "OMG!!!!!!"
Marie: "Amy, OMG!!!"

I think we are all scared of our moms when they say our names in that low voice

The moment Amy became a barone😂
Its funny, she had the same face walking thru the door as Robert after the FBI interview
This couple mirrors George Constanza and his fiancee Susan from the 90s American sitcom Seinfeld. She infamously dies in season 7 licking the toxic glue on the wedding envelopes George had purchased.
Of course, Everybody's Love Raymond never goes that dark.
Perfect sweater for the scene!
Wedding Invitations, The Walk to the Door, and The Power of No are my top 3 favorite episodes of ELR! 👍😆👍
Much funnier when you show them putting it together first
I don’t know what’s worse; this or Ray taping the Super Bowl over his and Debra's wedding video.
The best video ever on this show was when Ray's friends convinced him to video Debra during "that time of the month" and then play it back for her.
My cousin's getting married down the road. I'm just glad that the invitations didn't turn out like this😂😂😂
Oh the look on Amy’s face at the beginning. Never smile when a woman gives you that look.
The next part when Ray comes home is equally hilarious 🤣
wonder what phil rosenthal and monica horan discussed at home about writing this episode
It wasn’t necessarily about them. Phil Rosenthal’s standing instructions to everyone who worked on the show was, “Anytime you fight with your spouse it’s your job to come to work the next day and tell me all about it.”

Autocorrect wasn't going to help them here anyway 😂
"i look forward to that" - i think that makes it Premeditated murder....
"Me and some of the other guys that were around that day..." the "Ohhhhh" of Death from Debra and Marie.

attire optional could also mean people people will come with a tire.
I mean, if the people are naked at the church three days early, that gives them plenty of time to get clothes
Or go swimming in the baptismal pool.
“Would it be ok if I just ha…….ok”

People like ray should be divorced so fast. Im glad people are now calling out weaponised incompetence that a lot of men have.
What's sad is if he had not listened to his dumb brother and dad, he actually would have made a excellent invitation but then this is a comedy. Of course things are going to go horribly wrong so we can die laughing.

Right? Never understood it
He was too horrified by the situation to think clearly.
He never thinks clearly when he's confronted by his mother and Debra.😂
It’s bad when they ask what happened and they say your name like a verb happened 😂
One of the very few times Marie and Deborah were in agreement ( Raymond's sabotage).
