For the people saying Robert always wanted Debra… it was more a case of Robert’s character always being jealous of Raymond so it’s insinuated that he admires and finds Debra attractive. But that’s where the line was drawn in terms of the sitcom. They wouldn’t have gone further than that, because it would ruin the essential premise of the show. People need to relax and stop saying he was in love with Debra. That’s not what the character was. It was always about his jealousy of Raymond but at the same time he loved and respected his brother. The premise of the Barone family is that they all fight but love each other. It’s never meant to be completely disastrous. Just bordering on regular dysfunction always.

Amy and her Mother have always been two of my favorite characters on this show. Both are precious 😍
Amy's mother was played by Georgia Engle. She played a similar character on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Same voice, same mannerisms, same personality. In the MTM Show, she sang a song and danced in a way that you would surely appreciate. The song and dance were in the same shocking vein as when she wringed the bird's neck and smoked cigarettes on ELR.

Not gonna lie this title would've been a great name for a spin-off of Everybody Loves Raymond, solely based on Robert and Amy either moving, expecting their first child together or the series start with a death or multiple deaths in the family and Rays family and Roberts family reunite for the funeral after not seeing each other in years then go from there, the possibilities could be endless.
If one moment shows how Raymond is his father's son is the way he doubts Debra is when Robert she's perfect.

In another episode, Frank is an usher at church - it is implied that he goes every Sunday (as Catholics are obliged to do). He even tells Ali that those who don’t go are going to hell…

Robert broke character with Amy when they met. He ate the cookie dough twice beforehand then he made it a point to do it purposely(he touches his chin with food before he eats.)Wonder if anyone else noticed it???

He did not it is a character quirk and he has several. The biggest being a nervous habit of touching food to his chin before eating it, once referred to as "crazy chin".
He also does it when he's not nervous.

This was very well done, but I can never find one that includes their very last coming together, when {I think?} Robert was in a bar, he and Amy were broken up and hadn't seen each other in a while, and a wait er/ess tripped over his foot, and the drinks fell on Amy. I believe that's the last time they were broken up and it's a great scene, but very hard to find.
I think that episode is the one where Robert goes on a date with a woman who eats a fly after having dinner with him at Ray and Debra’s house. It’s the funniest episode ever!

As much as i like them, it still feels like robert just settled the later episodes they made it clear he wanted debra
Would you prefer he try to pursue a relationship with Debra? Eventually people have to settle with the fact that sometimes they can’t be with a specific person for whatever reason. You either move on and look for other options, or sulk and be jealous over what you don’t and can’t have.

He was a man baby who lived mostly with his parents. Obviously fixated on his brother's wife and jumped at any chance to go running to her with things Ray had done. Only wanted Amy when he couldn't have her, cheated on her but insinuated she was a you know what when she dated Gianni even though she'd only slept with Robert. Showed him nothing but kindness and love but yeah she wasn't good enough for him.
Amy was meant to be goofy looking and not “beautiful.” Robert is a goofball and she suits him. any has a great comic face. She pulls funny faces and very beautiful actresses can’t do that. So I feel she was the perfect casting choice. It’s acting, not a Miss Universe pageant!
